This was brought up the Roa talk page, that we split out variants of Servants from GO despite them being fundamentally the same person, just in a different class or in some cases different stage of life...but I then notice we don't do that consistently.
Let's take Blue and Red Sabers, for example. Blue Saber has separate pages for her "normal" form, her Alter form, her Lily form (which GO established/retconned into being just a younger incarnation of her normal form), and Lancer versions of both her Normal and Alter forms. Yet at the same time, both Saber Alter and "Santa Alter " (who is a Rider) share pages, as do the "swimsuit variants" of Saber and other Servants (who have differing classes and/or NPs).
In contrast, Red Saber has both of her GO variants on one page...despite Saber Bride's bio establishing her as an alternate version of the character instead of a different costume or form (compare Saber Lily). Ignoring that said bio makes no sense if you stop and think about it, it clearly establishes the two as alternate universe versions of each other, not just variants of the same one figure. Yet both are shoved on the same page?
I guess what I am proposing is that we treat this consistently. Either we merge all the "GO-exclusive" variants to the page of the original Servant (unless the resulting page would be too large; I don't suggest we merge Saber Alter back with Saber any time soon), or we split out every variant and treat them as a separate Servant. Personally, I'd prefer the latter, as it seems more efficient and keeps the pages from being clogged up with information on variants that might confuse readers.
I am not suggesting with that first option, to be clear, that we merge versions of the same Servant from different, non-GO sources (so we wouldn't merge FSN!Cu with EXTRA!Cu with Prototype!Cu, for example).
