Who though that it would be better if instead of being magically manifested, the servants should be a magically reincarnated hero instead, that way, they could change the gender, age, and look of the character all they want with no need to explain different unless they want to
It would have also made some thing's much much easier
Something akin to rulers vessel possession?
A little, they are still made up of magic, however, they can look like anyone or anything that changes every time they are summoned, so their look's and weapon's will alter based on who you summon and when you summon them, they have their memories and their personalities (this one for the most part since this also changes at times), but a different look, and in some cases, if their is a perfect match for a servant like with Vessel Possession, then that could happen with the person possessed unharmed if the servant dies and teleported back to where they came from with memory of what happened
That clear something up
Most servants are faithfull to their legends. Exception being some blond sabers... But its already a staple of franchaise. I for once very much enjoyed king arthur gender swap. It was very well done. But to the point. They established some mechanics that woundn't work with incarnating. Mana vampirism being one. Also healing factor. And many small things. The stories would be diffrent. Perchaps very diffrent. And servants are more of a interpretation than anything else. Some heroic spirits never existed in the first place.
Yeah, but what I suggested would make Fate's job easier right, better explain why some character's are female or genderbent right, also it would make scene to hide one's identity much better
