Honestly, weaker servants may have a better chance, because really strong ones get the privelage of him going all out, but weaker ones aren't worth the effort.
True it's a double edged things the stronger servants earn more effort out of him, I mean look at Iskandar, Gilgamesh skipped Gate of Babylon and went straight for Ea because he respected Iskandar, meanwhile the weaker servants have to put more effort in but at least they don't run the risk of him pulling out Ea or some of his more powerful treasures.
Shirou did better than some servents did, not because Shirou is stronger than them, but because he's so much weaker that Gilgamesh wasn't gonna pull Ea out to use on some fuckin Faker.
Exactly! but man I hate that fight but that's a diffrent matter. For most servants that are on the weaker end they stand a better chance agasint Gil than the stronger ones because he won't use Ea, but then the downside is that the Gate of Babylon will blast them to bits
I could see him bringing Ea out to destroy the Gardens out of some sort of respect for Semiramis, and Mordred might be able to bring it out like Artoria did, but Vlad, Medea, and Constantine just don't have anything to interest him.
Well In Fate Zero he took a head on blast from Excalibur with no injury, in the Fate route he was blocking Artoria's slashes, And in Strange fake he took back to back Excalibur blasts from Richard the Lionheart, Richard's blasts aren't as powerful as Artoria but it's still impressive he took that many Excalibur blasts and he was still fine, it would take them doing it a lot.
Yeah, that golden plate is freakishly tough, it took a lot of punishment before finally failing in the fate Route, and it was only pierced by a point blank Excaliblast. Like the sword physically hit Gil on top of the wave of light.
