Nei sistemi delle Guerre del Santo Graal, ai Servant vengono attribuite diverse abilità di classe in base al contenitore in cui vengono evocati.
Autorità della bestia[]
L'Autorità della bestia (獣の権能, Jū no ken'nō?)[N 1] è un'abilità anti-umanità utilizzata dai Servant Beast.

Azione indipendente[]
L'azione indipendente (単独行動, tandoku kōdō?) è la capacità di rimanere indipendenti anche senza che il proprio Master fornisca forza magica, e pertanto consente anche ad un Servant di agire autonomamente[3]. In questo modo, il suo Master può concentrare la propria forza magica su incantesimi più complessi. Ai ranghi più alti è possibile restare in vita per periodi più o meno lunghi anche senza un contratto. Per questo motivo può essere sia utile che problematica a seconda del Servant e del rango dell'abilità. Il rovescio della medaglia è che il Servant in questo modo è più difficile da controllare e da tenere dalla propria parte, dovendo quindi ricorrere molto spesso agli incantesimi di comando[3].

Follia[]
Lancillotto normale (a sinistra) e affetto da follia (a destra)
La follia (狂化, kyōka?) è l'abilità che caratterizza la classe Berserker: innalza i parametri di base e rafforza le capacità fisiche al costo della sanità mentale. Per ogni rango in più di follia, aumenta progressivamente il numero di parametri modificati. Dal rango B in poi vengono affetti tutti i parametri. In alcuni casi può anche colpire o sigillare alcune tecniche, abilità personali e/o Armi Nobili[3].
Occultamento della presenza[]
L'occultamento della presenza (気配遮断, kehai shadan?) è la capacità di offuscare la propria presenza e di nascondersi dai Servant nemici. Al rango D viene aumentata solamente l'idoneità all'esecuzione di azioni segrete, ma al rango A+ è molto difficile essere rintracciati[3]. È un'abilità comune alla classe Assassin.
