AnubisWP (アヌビス, Anubisu?), Class Name unknown, is a Servant summoned "After" the Holy Grail War in Fate/Requiem.
In Fate/Grand Order, Avenger Nitocris Alter possesses the aspect of Anubis, and her Third Ascension in particular possesses enough of Anubis's influence that his personality begins to mix with her.
Profile[]
Identity[]
The Egyptian God of Embalment/Mummification. The son of an affair between Osiris and Set's wife NephthysWP, Set's anger over his wife betraying him caused him to get his revenge by cutting Osiris to pieces and dumping him into the Nile. Anubis saved his father and bandaged him up, the first mummification which granted Anubis his Authority as the god of mummification and a minor Authority of revival, adding to the Authority of the Underworld he already had.[1]
Appearance[]
As a Servant in Fate/Requiem, Anubis appears as a large black jackal dog whose coat is even darker than the dim room where he was first encountered.[2]
As a Divided Spirit in Nitocris Alter's Noble Phantasm in Fate/Grand Order, Anubis appears as a black humanoid figure with a jackal's head.
Personality[]
Anubis believes that real truth, unchanging truth, is found only in death. He claims to Erice that she belongs on their side.[2]
Role[]
Fate/Requiem[]
The Boy Among the Stars[]
Anubis and his female companion infiltrated Mosaic City from the outside via pipes connecting the Colosseum to the ocean.[2] During Nzambi's attack on the Holy Grail Tournament, Anubis called out to Voyager and told him to pass along a message to Chitose Manazuru: that death had come for her.[3]
In the chaos of Nzambi's attack Anubis and his companion killed Caren Fujimura. They were then chased off by Chitose who seemed to know them, but not before Anubis told Erice Utsumi that she belonged on their side.[2]
Nostalgic City Shinjuku[]
Erice suspects that Kuchime may be connected to Anubis, but dismisses the possibility.[4]
Anubis later summons Ammit to battle Erice.
Fate/Grand Order[]
Anubis grants Nitocris Alter his divine protection. She has become his earthly manifestation, though is not a full Divided Spirit of him.[5] His personality mixes with hers in her Third Ascension. Nitocris feels like the personality is mostly Anubis, while Anubis feels that the personality is mostly Nitocris.[6]
Id: Wastehole of the Unsalvageable[]
During the Second Trial, Anubis bursts from within the shadow, making Ritsuka realize that Nitocris Alter has manifested.[7]
Abilities[]
Anubis has an unspecified ability to summon Ammit, a Divine Beast.
Nitocris Alter's Skill Arbitration of the Netherworld God is a portion of Anubis' Authority. According to the Book of the DeadWP, Anubis would measure the hearts of the dead, and arbitrate them depending on their deeds in life. Nitocris Alter's version is weaker than Anubis'.[5] In Nitocris Alter's Noble Phantasm Neferu Suen Anubis, Nitocris manifests a gigantic Divided Spirit of Anubis to bring merciless judgment upon the world. When using this Noble Phantasm, the Pharaohs of the past must protect Nitocris from Anubis' sheer might consuming her soul.[5]
