AtlantisWP (アトランティス, Atorantisu?) was an ancient civilization which existed in the Atlantic Ocean 14000 years before the present day.[1][2]

Background

Atlantis is spoken of in ancient Greek sources and elsewhere as a legendary lost island city, civilization or continent, which was destroyed and sunk beneath the sea.

The actual Atlantis was situated in the Atlantic Ocean and its pantheon consisted of the Twelve Machine Gods, autonomous extraterrestrial ships which landed on Earth following an interstellar voyage and were deified by ancient humans.[1][2]

Atlantis was destroyed by Sefar around 12000 BC. The true bodies of the Twelve Machine Gods were also destroyed, reducing them to Divine Spirits which would become the Twelve Olympians. Remnants of the Atlantean civilization would eventually find their way to ancient Greece.[1][2]

Okeanos: The Four Sealed Seas of the End

Francis Drake and her crew managed to reach the ruins of Atlantis after a seven-day voyage, encountering and defeating a diminished Poseidon (who intended to flood civilization), and obtaining a Holy Grail which would play a role in the events of the Okeanos Singularity.[3]

Main article: Atlantic Lostbelt

In the divergent history of the Atlantic Lostbelt, Zeus instead defeated Sefar by forcibly taking on the powers of the other gods. As a result, the Twelve Machine Gods did not lose their original bodies and the advanced civilization they presided over survived.[1][2]

At the time of Chaldea's visit to the Atlantic Lostbelt, the core of this civilization was situated on Olympus, a vast mountainous city within an isolated underground space. The remainder of the civilization dwelt on the islands in the ocean, with an abyss known as the Big Hole being the sole passageway leading to Olympus. The islands which made up this Atlantis were partially formed from the wreckage left behind by the civil war between the Olympians.[1][2]
