Calugh Ithred (キャルグ・イスレッド, Kyarugu Isureddo?) is one of the people involved in the Grand Roll incident of Lord El-Melloi II Case Files.
Profile[]
Background[]
Calugh is a Survivor who managed to leave the Spiritual Tomb of Albion, having been part of an excavation team alongside his little brother Jorek Kurdice, Asheara Mystras, Gesell Tolman, and Kurou Adashino.[2] Ten years ago, they all became students of Doctor Heartless in the Department of Modern Magecraft Theory at the Clock Tower, attending its classes for two years.[3] He is now a member of the Secret Autopsy Division that manages Albion.[1]
Personality[]
Appearance[]
He is an overweight man around thirty years old, and tends to sweat a lot.[1]
Role[]
Lord El-Melloi II Case Files[]
case. Grand Roll[]
When Lord El-Melloi II, Gray, and Yvette L. Lehrman come visit the Secret Autopsy Division to get information on Heartless' remaining students, he rushes in trying to flee from an escaped Chimera, only to trip. As Gray and Yvette are fighting the Chimera, he eventually manages to trap it in a cage, buying enough time for Asheara to incapacitate it. Afterwards, the two apologize to the group and introduce themselves.[1]
They take them to a reception room for some tea and to answer El-Melloi II's questions about Heartless, reminiscing over their former teacher. When informed of the serial disappearances of Heartless' students, Calugh says he was aware, as his own brother Jorek has gone missing.[1]
After the meeting ends and the group of Lord El-Melloi II leaves, Calugh asks Asheara if she believes their teacher is truly involved in the disappearance of their former teammates, to which she responds in the affirmative. Calugh decides to stay at the Secret Autopsy Division, the safest place in London, while Asheara leaves.[4]
Abilities[]
He used an unknown spell to make the ground around a Chimera rise to become walls and then transform into a metal cage.[1] He probably used something similar to create a piece of metal inside his body with information on it. After all, the easiest place to use magecraft is within your own body.[5]
