Carl Lexarm (カール・レクサーム, Kāru Rekusāmu?) is a magus associated with Yggdmillennia.
Profile[]
Background[]
In the world of Fate/Apocrypha, Carl was a magus of Yggdmillennia stationed in Trifas, Romania.[1]
In the world of Fate/strange Fake, Yggdmillennia no longer existed as of the modern age, so Carl never joined it.[2]
Personality[]
Within his main living space in Trifas, he leaves its appearance basic with no trace of personalization, showing his true self through his Magical Workshop.[1]
Role[]
Fate/Apocrypha[]
After the disappearance of ten Yggdmillennia operatives at the hands of Assassin of Black and Reika Rikudou, the Black Faction decides to look into the matter. Entering into Carl's home, they find traces of blood in his kitchen, finding his body in the basement workshop. They find that Assassin slashed his throat and cut out his heart, Carl dying with a look of pain and fear upon which Assassin could feed and Reika could get information on Yggdmillennia. They leave, letting Yggdmillennia clean up the scene and corpse.[1]
Fate/strange Fake[]
After the advent of the True and False Holy Grail Wars in Snowfield, Carl is one of the many opportunistic magi to arrive in the city to take advantage of the situation. He is captured by Flat Escardos and False Berserker while seemingly meaning to attack the two, and he is kept with several other magi with the same intentions, Avi Dikhail, Hyouma Sagara, Silvelt Kotcheff, and members of the Zugzwang. When Berserker takes on the appearance of Assassin of Black by mistake, he and the other captives instinctively shudder in fear for reasons unknown, having been tortured and killed by her in the Apocrypha world. Flat plans to eventually release them, confusing the captives.[2][3]
Abilities[]
Carl specializes in Black Magic, his workshop displaying dried animal corpses, bundles of herbs, and many grimoires stacked throughout. Due to the nature of his magecraft, the room has magecraft set up to conceal the smells that naturally come with practicing black magic.[1]
