Carriers (保菌者, Hokin-sha?) are magi who carry within them a pathogen to actualize some aspect of their family's magecraft.[1]
Characteristics[]
Carriers are those who possess Thaumaturgical Attributes passed down between family members through a pathogen rather than their Magic Circuits or family genetics.[1] Carriers can be of insignificant lineages, their trait not even worthy of mention to others.[2]
God’s Holder - Tradition Carriers (伝承保菌者, Denshō Hokin-sha?) are those that have been kept by families since the Age of Gods,[1] considered special in comparison to normal Carriers.[2] Tradition Carriers of Norse descent would have the ability to overturn all knowledge of the end of the Norse Age of Gods.[3]
Known Carriers[]
- Bazett Fraga McRemitz - Tradition Carrier
- Shinji Matou's mother - Carrier

Q: Shinji's mother is a "Carrier", what kind of pathogen is she carrying? Is she a "God's Holder"?
Q: Shinji's mother is a "Carrier", what kind of pathogen is she carrying? Is she a "God's Holder"?
A: No, nothing special of that sort. According to Zouken, she is the daughter of "a random third-rate magus".
[Note: "Carriers" retain remnants of mysteries from the Age of Gods as pathogens like bacteria and viruses. The Fraga McRemitz lineage of course is an exceptionally powerful example, Shinji's mother unfortunately is of the bottom of the barrel.] - ↑ Fate/Grand Order - Interlude: Dear Little Sister
