The Caster (キャスター, Kyasutā?) Class Card of the Fourth Ainsworth Holy Grail War,[2] and the Fifth Ainsworth Holy Grail War was granted to Ainsworth Doll, Atrum Galliasta. It was later one of eight Class Cards transported to Illya's world in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA.

Identity[]
The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Class Card is Medea the Witch of Betrayal, a magus from the Age of Gods.[1]
Appearance[]
When she manifested, Medea's appearance is slightly altered. Her cloak and dress have a tattered appearance, and white fur is draped across the shoulders.
Role[]
Caster in the Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA.
Illya, Miyu Edelfelt, Rin, and Luvia encounter the manifested Caster under the Fuyuki Bridge. They are forced to retreat from her assault the first time, but later manage to beat her after Illya and Miyu learn to fly. Miyu kills her and retrieves the card by using Gae Bolg.
Illya later installs it to battle Beatrice Flowerchild, but she loses in a clash with Mjölnir. Illya then later includes it to utilize Rule Breaker on Julian Ainsworth, removing the conceptual duplicate of his ancestor from him. He then steals the card with Flash Air and destroys it in retaliation.

Heroic Spirit[]
Medea is a "magical energy specialization type" able to utilize High-Speed Divine Words, lost magecraft from the Age of Gods, that allows her to activate spells too complex for modern systems of magic. She can unleash a great bombardment of magical energy from high-caliber magic circles, exceeding the bounds of magecraft, and it possesses destructive power that easily surpasses that of an average Noble Phantasm. In contrast, her physical ability is poor, and she said to be like "paper armor" in terms of defense. She possesses Rule Breaker, the "ultimate anti-magecraft weapon", that embodies her role as the Witch of Betrayal. Possessing no killing ability, it is able to break anything constructed from magecraft and return it to its former state.[1]

A refreshing upstart mage. He has oil fields or something like that. He has a selfish, proud, and strongly conceited personality.
While participating in the Fourth Holy Grail War, his original body was swallowed by “darkness” and died. The character left in a puppet is manipulated as a pawn of the Ainsworth. The Card employed in the Fourth also was the witch Medea.
“Let’s see, how about we try the so-called power of a witch from the Age of Gods. Surely it won’t be a big deal, though. After all, it’s been some thousands of years. Mystery may have faded away, but instead we have technological advances…”
And the moment he Installed it brimming with self-confidence, he crumbled down on the spot. Because the power of the witch Medea that arose from within himself desperately and thoroughly crushed his confidence.
What was my life was until now? What were my studies as a mage for? The level as a mage was so different he wondered that. Without time to recover from the unexpected shock of his obsolescence, he ended that battle.
Besides the lack of spirit caused by the displacement into a puppet, he has developed a severe “memory disorder” from that shock.
“Unacceptable. Impossible. It mustn’t be. Then? Right. Exactly. It’s obvious that it’s ‘the memory which is wrong’—”
Now he thinks, from the bottom of his heart, that the power of the witch Medea is his. That he is the real witch, and that he only recovers his true form when Installing the Card… Believing that, if he wins the Holy Grail War, this curse that degraded him to the body of a stale mage will be broken, he continues fighting today as well.

さわやか成金魔術師。油田とか持ってる。身勝手でプライドが高くうぬぼれが強い性格。
第四次聖杯戦争に参戦した際に、本体が「闇」に飲み込まれ死亡。人形に遺された人格だけがエインズワースの手駒として操られている。その第四次の際に使用していたカードも魔女メディアのものだった。
「どれ、神代の魔女の力とやら、確かめてみようじゃないか。どうせたいしたことはないんだろうだがね。なにせ数千年も経っている。神秘は薄れたかもしれないが、代わりにこちらには技術の進歩というものが……」
そして自信満々にインストールした瞬間、彼はその場に崩れ落ちたという。自らの中に生じた、魔女メディアとしての力が絶望的なまでに、完膚なきまでに、自分の自信を打ち砕くものだったからだ。
今までの自分の人生は何だったのか。魔術師としての研鑽は何だったのか。そう思ってしまうほどに、魔術師としての次元が違いすぎていた。自分自身の陳腐化という思いがけぬショックから立ち直る間もなく、彼はその戦いを終えることとなった。
彼は人形置換による精神欠落の他、そのショックから深刻な「記憶障害」を発症している。
「認められない。ありえない。あってはならない。ならば？ そうだ。その通りだ。"記憶のほうが間違っている"に決まっている――――」
今の彼は、心の底から、その魔女の力を自分のものだと思っている。自分こそが本物の魔女であり、このカードをインストールしている時だけ本来の姿を取り戻しているのだ……と。聖杯戦争に勝利すれば、自分を陳腐な魔術師の身に貶めているこの呪いが解けると信じて、彼は今日も戦い続ける。
