A Celestial Body^WP (天体, Tentai^?) is any natural object, like a Planet, Star, Natural Satellite, or Asteroid that exists in the Universe.

A Planet Egg (星の卵, Hoshi no Tamago^?) is a large spherical object that forms from the accumulation of elements like carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, and helium, along with gas and interstellar dust, over the course of nearly a million years. This isn't a particularly unusual, special, or rare phenomenon. On the contrary, it's a regular cosmic occurrence, happening more frequently than daily births in a civilized society. They are as simple to form and to disappear as a discarded chicken egg.

Living Planet

A Living Planet^WP (星, Hoshi^?, lit. Star), alternatively called Living Celestial Body, is a Planet Egg that has gained the potential to develop Intelligent Life (知性体, Chisei-tai^?). Unlike the creation of a Planet Egg, which is a relatively easy process, a living planet can only be formed if the following circumstances are met:

• The planet's core must be at the right temperature.
• It must exist on a Solar System developed enough to give the planet an orbit.
• There aren't neighboring planets or galaxies fated to clash with it due to sharing the same orbit or trajectory.
• The planet exists in a sector with a Soul that nurtures life. To be alive is to possess a Force that Attracts (引きつける力, Hikitsukeru Chikara^?). As such, only certain sectors entrusted with such a directionality are able to seed Planet Eggs and transform them into proper Planets. The seed that germinates the Planet Egg is called Archetype of Creation.

Living Planets are composed of the following parts:

• Planet Egg: The Celestial Body's physical body.
• Archetype of Creation: It plays the following roles:

• Texture: Sometimes, the surface of a celestial body is covered by one or more Textures. These layers are managed and modified by the planet's conciousness based on the understanding of the ruling intelligent lifeform on its surface—its Prime Species.
  • Inner Sea of the Planet: When a planet becomes a living being with a heart and a brain, it develops an inner sea to contain them. A Reality Marble is a Mage's Inner World, a powerful Spell that momentarily lays their own mindscape over reality. Similarly, the Inner Sea can be described as a Reality Marble created by the planet itself.

All Living Celestial Bodies share the same Existence Scale (存在規模(スケール), Sonzai Kibo(Sukēru)^?) whether they are a Planet, Comet, or other type of Celestial Body.

During the Human Order Incineration Incident, Goetia fractured seven Human Order Foundations to harvest their Magical Energy using Ars Almadel Salomonis. His plan was to use all that energy as fuel to travel back in time to the Genesis of the planet Earth and use his body as one of its fundamental components. However, Archetype: Earth regards this as a foolish deed, claiming that no matter how much energy or fortuity someone manages to gather up, a celestial conception cannot be achieved by that which is not an egg.

Types of Celestial Bodies

Black Hole

A Black Hole^WP (ブラックホール, Burakkuhōru^?) is region in space-time where the gravity is so strong that not even Light can escape its pull. This makes them as dark as it is physically possible, hence the name. The Speed of Light is 300,000 km/s, and with Humanity's current understanding of the Laws of Physics^WP, they are unable to exceed it. In a metaphorical sense, they are considered pitfalls of pure darkness that suck up anything in their vicinity. However, there is no "falling" involved. They simply exert a gravitational force on anything within range. Furthermore, the distortion of space caused by a black hole causes a phenomenon known as Time Dilation: the closer an object gets to the singularity, the slower they move. For example, what may seem like one second to an observer far away from the black hole could be perceived as three hours to someone who is in close proximity to it.

Theoretically speaking, creating a black hole is very simple. All that is needed is to compress the mass of an object to raise its density. That way, its gravity will eventually increase to the point that it absorbs even light. For example, if someone could compress Earth's mass to the size of a fingertip, it would become a black hole. Furthermore, black holes are created throughout the Universe on a daily basis. They are the inevitable result of what happens when a large Star reaches the end of its life cycle and collapses under its own weight. On the other hand, while black holes are a part of stellar life whose mechanics are clearly understood by Humans, they currently lack the engineering skill to create one. As such, Sion Eltnam Sokaris explains that there is a possibility that the Black Barrel cannot measure U-Olga Marie's lifespan due to her ability to create black holes with hardly any effort.

According to Lev Lainur Flauros, CHALDEAS is no different from a Black Hole or the Sun. If a Human touched it, they would be disintegrated on a molecular level, as shown when he killed Olga Marie Animusphere. On the other hand, Hans Christian Andersen explains that the concept of duṣkṛta in Buddhism is similar to that of a Black Hole on the mind. Love is essentially a heart that never stops yearning. No matter how much someone eats, how fulfilled they feel, or how much they grow, it will always leave them wanting more. As such, no matter how much love they are given, it will never truly be full.

There are multiple instances of Servant Universe Servants having fallen inside a Black Hole. For example, Cosmos Cat Cat (Tamamo Cat's Servant Universe counterpart) mentions having spent a prolongued period of time inside a Black Hole. On the other hand, Mysterious Idol X Alter mentions that her experience as an idol was worse than falling into one. Similarly, Mysterious Heroine XX Alter also mentions having escaped from one.^{[citation needed]}

Pseudo-Black Hole

A Pseudo-Black Hole (疑似ブラックホール, Giji Burakkuhōru^?) is an artificial Black Hole created through alternative means than compressing a massive object. While the end result is the same, the formula used to create them is different, making them much more efficient.

Known Pseudo-Black Holes:

• Kiara Sessyoin (Heaven's Hole): A subtype of the Third Magic with the ability to draw in matter with incredibly powerful gravity on the level of a Black Hole. Escaping from the gravitational field of Beast III/R's sexual allure is only possible by exceeding the Speed of Light.
• U-Olga Marie's Black Holes.

An Asteroid^WP (小惑星, Shōwakusei^?) is a large, rocky body, smaller than a planet, that orbits the Sun, primarily found in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.^{[citation needed]}

• Bennu^WP (ベンヌ, Ben'nu^?) - A C-type, carbonaceous Asteroid with an average diameter of about 500 meters. Analysis shows that it will approach Earth a number of times over the next two hundred years. During the Shinjuku Subcategory Singularity, James Moriarty tried to use this asteroid as a bullet to destroy Earth with The Dynamics of an Asteroid.

Comet

A Comet^WP (彗星, Suisei^?) is a relatively small, icy body that orbits the Sun; when it nears the Sun, its ice vaporizes, creating a visible atmosphere (coma) and sometimes a long tail.^{[citation needed]}

A Meteorite^WP (隕石, Inseki^?, Sometimes translated as "Meteor") is a natural solid object, typically a fragment of an Asteroid or Comet, that survives its passage through Earth's atmosphere and impacts the planet's surface.^{[citation needed]} Meteorites rarely fall on Earth.

Having absorbed the Phantom Spirit Der Freischütz, James Moriarty can control even Meteorites with The Dynamics of an Asteroid.

Known Meteorites:

• Kobe meteorite: During 1999, the only meteorite that fell in Japan did so in Kobe^WP. Its total weigth was 136 grams, making it impossible for it to destroy the planet Earth.

Anti-Planet

Anti-Planet (対星, Taisē^?) is a classification used in the World of Magecraft to describe attacks, primarily Noble Phantasms, capable of destroying an entire Celestial Body apart. Leonardo da Vinci states with utmost certainty that not even the full power Noble Phantasm of a Top Servant can reach this level. Furthermore, she notes that an actual Anti-Planet Noble Phantasm wouldn't be able to destroy Earth either, as it is protected by the Counter Force, unlike ordinary planets. Destroying Earth without overpowering the Counter Force would only be possible by cutting it off from Human History first. This is what James Moriarty attempted to do during the Shinjuku Subcategory Singularity.

• Ars Almadel Salomonis - Goetia's Noble Phantasm fires a torrent of heat sufficient to penetrate through the planet.
• Catastrophe Crime - During the Shinjuku Subcategory Singularity, James Moriarty planned on using his Noble Phantasm to manipulate an asteroid like a bullet to destroy Earth. This was only possible because the Singularity had been cut off from Human History. Otherwise, the Counter Force would have intervened.
• Evil Holy Sword Necro-calibur - Mysterious Heroine X Alter's sword is stated to have the potential to cutting through a planet, however, it hadn't fully matured when it first appeared in Fate/Grand Order. Nevertheless, by the time Alter's first interlude takes place, she states that just like Mysterious Heroine X, she is known as an agent capable of single-handedly destroying entire planets in the course of their missions. When the two of them worked together, they could limit the collateral damage to a single planet.
• Rhongomyniad (Lostbelt) - Lostbelt Morgan's Rhongomyniad is implied to be a Planetary-Class weapon capable of helping Chaldea take down U-Olga Marie.
• The Collapse - The Collapse is an event capable of destroying the entire planet.^{[citation needed]} Kirschtaria Wodime regarded the British Lostbelt as a different but equally serious threat to the Alien God. A curse that would take down the planet with it. Similarly, Merlin claimed that the Alien God wouldn't be able to stop The Collapse, making him wonder if the match would be called off due to injury or if it would make it a tie game.
