CerberusWP (ケルベロス, Keruberosu?) is a Divine Beast owned by Hades.
Profile[]
Background[]
Cerberus was a child of Echidna.[1]
As of the modern day, there existed a massive six-eyed creature in the Spiritual Tomb of Albion beneath the Clock Tower that was speculated by Lord El-Melloi II to be of the same archetype as Cerberus and AbaddonWP.[2]
Appearance[]
Cerberus is described as three headed dog the size of an elephant who breaths poisonous breath. In Heracles' flashback, his heads each have one large eye and his body appears to resemble metallic armor.
Personality[]
Role[]
Fate/stay night[]
Cerberus appears in a flashback of the Labors of Heracles in the third Heaven's Feel film.
Fate/strange Fake[]
- Main article: King's Order
Cerberus appears as one of the Noble Phantasms of Alcides, as part of King's Order, making him able to summon it due to his Twelfth Labor, as he captured Cerberus. It manifests as an elephant-sized, three-headed dog upon which Alcides can easily ride, but doesn't possess its former divine beasthood without Hades' blessing. It fights during the battle at Snowfield Central Hospital, but is defeated by Jack the Ripper's From Hell.[3]
After being dragged into the Bounded World of Doomsday Come, Pale Rider is able to take control of Cerberus and it grows in size from as big as an elephant to being larger than a house. The reason for this is speculated to be because the Bounded World is an "underworld" of sort, closely resembling Hades, which gets it closer to its original strength, especially the more dead people it takes. When the Prelatis enter the dream world, they make it rain candy, taking advantage of the legend that Cerberus fond of sugary treats such as cake.[4]
Tsubaki Kuruoka sees Hades and Cerberus when she is dreaming about wandering between various underworlds.[5]
Fate/Grand Order[]
Atlantis: Ancient Ocean of the Dreadnought Gods[]
- Main article: Cerberus (Lostbelt)
Mass produced Cerberus birthed from Echidna appear within Lostbelt 5 of Fate/Grand Order.
Paper Moon: Zero Compass Inner Domain[]
Saber Medusa can summon Cerberus with her Noble Phantasm Chrysaor.[6] Ritsuka Fujimaru repeatedly uses Chrysaor to summon Cerberus to distract Kali.[7]
Trinity Metatronius: Courtroom for the Judgment of Mankind[]
Cerberus dwells in the circle of gluttony in Hell where he devours sinners, as he did in Dante Alighieri's Divine ComedyWP.
Abilities[]
When summoned via Alcides' twelfth Noble Phantasm of King's Order, it manifests as an elephant-sized, three-headed dog upon which Alcides can easily ride. Each head has extremely sharp fangs and exhales poisonous breath, and the very air around it is thick with magical energy. It can follow instructions and act independently from him. It displays the ability to easily kill dozens of humans without being impeded, but easily falls to Jack the Ripper's From Hell. Alcides comments that he was able to achieve this since Cerberus doesn't possess its former divine beasthood without Hades’ blessing.[3] It is unknown if it is due to Alcides rejecting its divinity like with Goddess of War or if it is due to another factor.
After Cerberus was taken control of by Pale Rider, it had grown in size from as big as an elephant to being larger than a house.[8] As Pale Rider closely resembles Hades and the Underworld, Cerberus gets closer to its original strength, especially the more dead people it takes, allowing its combat abilities to eventually match those of a high-ranking Servant.[4] Whereas it was at most the size of an adult elephant previously, the first time it appears under Rider's control it is easily over fifteen meters tall.[9] It keeps growing, until its appearance recalls a three-headed kaiju out of a giant monster movie.[4] Its howls conveyed as much heat as if it were breathing fire and shook the space around it.[10]
Development[]

Cerberus in the Heaven's Feel film was designed by Fate/Zero manga author Shinjirou.[11] The design is different from the mass produced Cerberus in Fate/Grand Order due to being drawn before it appeared in the game.[12]
