Chain Summoning (連鎖召喚, Rensa Shōkan?) is a process through which an existing entity acts as a Catalyst to summon forth another related entity.
Characteristics[]
Known Chain Summons[]
- Ares - Summoned through a combination of several Servant Spiritual Cores, the remains of Settsu Armor Kumano and the bonds Ritsuka Fujimaru formed with various Roman Servants.[1]
- Charlemagne - Summoned through Karl der Große's influence, using the existing Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne, Astolfo, Bradamante, and Roland, as the Catalysts.[2]
- Fafnir - Summoned by the Das Rheingold due to the corruption of the legend.[3][4] Also, because simply summoning Siegfried should summon the Noble Phantasm, Fafnir will always be summoned along with Siegfried.
- Hector - Summoned via Achilles upon his death in the Atlantic Lostbelt.[5]
- Ishtar - Summoned whenever Gilgamesh and Enkidu meet again, due to having left a "blessing" upon the Human Order, leaving a vestige of herself to manifest.[6]
- Ototachibana-hime - Summoned into the body of Ogasawara Kaya as a result of her husband Yamato Takeru appearing as Saber.
- Yagyuu Munenori - Summoned as a Rogue Servant as a result of Miyamoto Musashi appearing as a Berserker.
