Before Chaldea's arrival, Chiron killed his Proper History counterpart, absorbing his knowledge and Noble Phantasm.[2]
Chiron snipes at Ritsuka and their allies as they exit the Eris Island temple. He agrees with Jason's thinking they need to team up against him, and shows the Atlantean soldiers with him. He tags Achilles with him when he tries to run with Ritsuka while the others were fighting. He taunts Achilles about he gained knowledge on the latter by killing his own counterpart. Mochizuki Chiyome and Mandricardo try to fight him to let the others retreat. Chiron hits them both with Antares Snipe, though Mandricardo blocked it with his Noble Phantasm. He then captures Chiyome after Mandricardo retreat without her, and decides she'll be fed to Echidna to replenish its magical energy. Chiyome tries to commit suicide, but Chiron stops her with an arrow and knocks her unconscious. He then contacts Odysseus and apologizes for not being able to get his hands on the Athena Klironomia. Odysseus doesn't mind though since Chaldea plans to use the Klironomia on Corday, whom he deems worthless. Chiron understands, and readies to return with Chiyome.[2]
Later, Chiron fights Achilles while the others destroy Odysseus' ships. He is put at ease that the latter's heel was shot since it slows him down. He is confused by Achilles also being glad that his heel was pierced. Achilles explains the pain is proof that he's human, one whose his father put his hopes in, and one his mother ackhnowledged. Chiron ridicules him for making bold statements when he's at a clear disadvantage.[3] Achilles leaves when Echidna goes berserk, but he returns to ensure Chiron doesn't interfere with the others on Nemesis Island.[4] Chiron pieces his heart with Antares Snipe, yet he is shocked Achilles can still fight even though his Spiritual Core should be destroyed. He becomes concerned he won't be able to make it in time to stop Orion, but he will not retreat from a fight. He understands that the Lostbelt is stagnant. Nevertheless though, it is the world he loves.[5]
After killing Achilles, Chiron enters Poseidon to stop Ritsuka, Mash, and Jason from destroying the Sea God's last core. He explains Poseidon's original functions before guarding the Big Hole, and how he went mad after Francis Drake stole one of his cores. The group defeat him, and destroy Poseidon's last core. Chiron wonders why they lost when in terms of quantity and quality, the group was inferior. Jason answers it was a difference of will, saying the Atlantean forces were complacent since the gods were on their side. Chiron disagrees, though he'll consider the former's opinion. After Ritsuka and Mash leave, Jason collapses from his injuries, which surprises Chiron that he's more injured than him. He asks him how kept it secret from the others, to which Jason explains it was thanks to the Mystic Code left to him by Medea. He finds wanting to learn from Jason, who should be his student in the Proper History, to be singular pleasure before he dies. He questions if humans can truly live in a world without gods, but Jason points out it was his counterpart that taught them to live in such a world. Chiron realizes he and his counterpart lived significantly different lives.[1]
