The Cloth of Arachne (アラクネの布?) is a Mystic Code.
History[]
The cloth was a fragment of a tapestry that was woven by Arachne of Greek mythology during the Age of Gods. As of modern day in the World of Fate/Apocrypha, Yggdmillennia obtained it during their search for a Servant summoning catalyst for Chiron, the Ancient arrow. As it was not needed for the Great Holy Grail War, it was stored away in the Fortress of Millennia's storeroom. During the war, Gordes Musik Yggdmillennia gave it to Sieg during the attack of Jack the Ripper.[1]
Characteristics[]
Described as being "made to a level of quality worthy of offering to the Gods themselves," the cloth wards impurities to a certain extent. By wrapping it around his face, Sieg is able to partially mitigate the corrosive effects of The Mist Noble Phantasm of Jack the Ripper. It doesn't protect uncovered portions, but using it to wipe other parts of his body, such as his eyes, can help ward off the effects in those areas.[1]
