The Researcher, whose name has been removed from the world, is the father of Daybit Sem Void.
Profile[]
Background[]
He was a researcher who studied the Semitic peoplesWP. Twenty years before his disappearance, he discovered a circlet showing nothingness on one of its sides, the Angelic Artifact simply called a Wooden Halo (木製の輪っか, Mokusei no Wakka?). It had been passed down among the people he studied for generations.[2]
He disappeared one day in July 2004, after an experiment in which an Angelic Artifact was exposed for 0.2 seconds. His name was erased not just from the Department of Lore's records, but from everyone's minds save for possibly that of Brishisan, with his at the time 10-year-old son being the only survivor. Following this, all Magecraft currently active in London and the surrounding academies associated with the Clock Tower was suddenly frozen for a short period of time.[3] When he disappeared, his name and background vanished from all records on Earth, and that was left of him was a burned-in shadow of him on the floor indicating he had once stood there. The shadows on the floor of the lab cannot be removed by any means, and it is speculated by Brishisan that they will remain there even after the end of the universe.[2]
Appearance[]
He has the same hair color as his son and wears it in a similar way.
Personality[]
He is described as inventive, persistent, tenacious, and fortuitous, talents which led him to locate miracles. According to him, what defines humanity is that humans instinctively try to do good, much as bugs instinctively seek out sources of light.[2]
Role[]
Fate/Grand Order[]
Abilities[]
Despite being a Clock Tower researcher, Daybit's father was not a Magus. Regardless, the results of his research were on par with Magi whose lineages went back centuries.[2]

Height: 179cm
Weight: 70kg
Born in: Nevada, USA
Talents: None in particular.
Likes: Unique people.
Dislikes: Nothing in particular.
Character
A cool-headed young man, a little lacking in humanity.
Silent, emotionless and expressionless. All the right ingredients to ruin a conversation.
His no-nonsense attitude makes people describe him as “like a robot”, but it would be a lot more accurate to describe him as a game animal doing everything it can to survive. The simple beauty of the wild.
Marisbilly considered him the one with the highest Rayshift aptitude of all and his skills were also in the top tier among the Masters gathered by Chaldea, but due to his unsociable personality, he was given the role of supporting from the shadows instead of being the team leader.
Although the other team members acknowledge his abilities, his complete lack of cooperativeness made Wodime a preferable choice for the leader position.

- ↑ 2.0 2.1 2.2 2.3 Fate/Grand Order - Nahui Mictlan: Golden Sea of Trees Travelogue - Section 19: Flower War
