GalahadWP (ギャラハッドWP, Gyarahaddo?) is one of the Knights of the Round Table.
Profile
Identity
GalahadWP (ガラハッドWP, Garahaddo?) was a later addition to the Round Table, especially famed for his escapades in the search for the Holy Grail.[1] Galahad is the son of Lancelot, but he only saw Lancelot as a father while he was a boy and both never got along that well.[2] Galahad was admired as the perfect knight, the young boy who would shoulder the next generation of the Round Table.[3] He was a "saint who was the only one to obtain the Holy Grail, just to return it to heavens."[4][5]
He is called Galahad of Revelations (天啓のギャラハッド?) among the Knights of the Round Table.
Appearance
Lancelot comments that Mash Kyrielight is wearing her hair in a similar style to him.[2]
As Mash goes through her second to last Saint Graph Ascension, Bedivere describes her appearance is completely like Galahad.[2]
Personality
The Knights of the Round Table think highly of Galahad. Saber Alter calls him innocent as he uses the power to protect for victory.[6] Bedivere notes that even in a different age, and among a different people, he would surely entrust his legacy to someone like himself.[2] The exception is Mordred, who refers to him as "shield bastard" and compares Mash favorably to him.[7]
According to Galahad Alter, Galahad had no wish for himself and no idea what to do when he found the Holy Grail. He lived his entire life on force of habit.[8]
He is the only Knight of the Round Table to outright refuse the summons of the Lion King in the Camelot Singularity, speaking to his rigid sense of justice. However, this takes on a darker note in Part 2 when he begins denying his power to Mash after deciding that she and her Master are responsible for the rise of the Crypters by defeating Goetia, despite the fact that it was he that gave Mash the power to defy Goetia in the first place. In light of this, it is an open question if he refused the summons because of his sense of justice or because he was unwilling to fight the Lion King like the other Knights of the Round Table who did not wish to serve her.
Role
Fate/Grand Order
In the year 2010, Galahad was the second Heroic Spirit summon by Chaldea Security Organization.[9][10] However the summoning was an experiment aimed to control the powers of Galahad by binding him to Mash Kyrielight in order to produce a Demi-Servant. While the project succeeded in summoning and binding a spirit to Mash, the spirit failed to awaken.[9] Whilst summoned within Mash Kyrielight, he was disgusted by Marisbury Animusphere and Chaldea's various inhumane experiments.[9][10] Taking over Mash's body, Galahad broke free of the restraints holding him in place and destroyed Chaldea's countermeasures, including multiple barriers keeping the staff safe. He was stopped from killing Marisbury when Mash began resisting.[11] Realizing Mash will immediately die if he leaves, he instead chose to hibernate.[9]
« If I leave, the girl used as the catalyst will die. So I shall not leave, but neither will I awaken. » |

Prologue
When Lev Lainur Flauros caused the explosion in Chaldea's CHALDEAS room, Mash was amongst the causalities. As she was dying, Galahad formed the Demi-Servant contract with her. In exchange for a Heroic Spirit's ability and Noble Phantasm, he wanted to eliminate the cause of ‘Singularity Point F’. Mash obtained his fighting experience, skills, and Noble Phantasm, but lacks even knowledge of who is fused with her until later in the story. After granting her his skills and Noble Phantasm Galahad faded away.[6][12]
Sixth Singularity: Camelot
Sherlock Holmes reveals the Heroic Spirit name to Mash.[10] Although he was supposedly gone, Galahad is implied to strongly influence Mash's feelings, especially her outrage, towards Lancelot for his actions under the Lion King.
-Moonlight/Lostroom-
Galahad appears to Ritsuka in his mind, while the latter is sleeping in the "Lostroom". He defeats multiple Servants, including Artoria Alter, in a broken down city resembling the stage of Singularity F. Afterward, Galahad tells Ritsuka to stop his efforts to save the Human Order, saying that his efforts are futile. Ritsuka though refuses to give up, causing Galahad to inform him that the future became a blank slate because of their efforts, reminding him of the King of Magecraft's words before vanishing.
Anastasia: Permafrost Empire
With Galahad refusing to lend his aid in the Lostbelts, Mash loses access to Galahad's powers and needs to rely on the Ortenaus to fight. According to Da Vinci however, the block preventing her from using Galahad's abilities is a purely psychological one on Mash's part.
Avalon le Fay: Fairy Round Table Domain
After Galahad's powers being unavailable to her for the previous Lostbelts, once Mash loses her memory in the English Lostbelt she has access to his abilities again.
Other appearances
He was briefly mentioned in the original novel of Fate/Zero when Saber fought against Berserker. As Berserker revealed his true identity, Saber was tormented on how she led her kingdom. She thought of her knights and wondered if they had left this world with resentment and unwillingness. Saber claims that Galahad had lost his life in the line of duty.[13]
Abilities
Galahad possesses the Noble Phantasms Lord Camelot and Around Round Shield, and his only confirmed skill so far is Mana Defense (魔力防御, Maryoku Bōgyo?). A Skill of the same type as "Mana Burst", magical power is translated directly into defensive power. For a Heroic Spirit possessing a huge magical power, it would probably become a sacred wall that protects a whole country.[5][14] It is unknown if he possesses the Sword of David or the second sword that his counterpart wields.
While there is little mention of his martial skills, Bedivere notes it is not his combat prowess being most outstanding, but his mentality. Despite this, during Moonlight/Lostroom, he is shown capable of taking down six Servants with hand-to-hand tactics, blocking sword attacks with his arm, and overwhelming Saber Alter with his Noble Phantasm, Lord Camelot.
During conversation in Fate/EXTRA CCC, Gawain mentions that when it came to chess he considered Percival and Galahad to be “worthy opponents”.

The knight who tended the final moments of King Arthur.
He was the last remaining knight who returned the holy sword back to the lake according to the King's orders.
Lancelot, Percival, Galahad were some of the popular knights of King Arthur's who embarked on the quest for the Holy Grail, but they were actually junior knights who joined later for the quest.
The earliest and most famous knights who swore allegiance to King Arthur included Ser Kay, Ser Gawain, and Ser Bedivere. They had histories even older than King Arthur's.
Ser Bedivere's name was thought to be derived from the ancient War God of the Celts, Bedwyr.

A power displayed when protecting allies or an allied camp.
Exhibits damage reduction surpassing the defensive limit value, but she herself is not included as a target.
Also, the higher the Rank more the protective range spreads.
Possession Inheritance: ?
Succeed Phantasm. An unique Skill that Demi-Servants possess.
One of the Skills that the possessing Heroic Spirit owns is inherited and sublimated in a self-taught manner.
Personal Skills
Wall of Fleeting Snowflakes
Defense buff applied to the entire party. The user's mental fortitude is converted into physical defense.
Because Mash misunderstands how to use her Noble Phantasm, it's true worth cannot be shown.
Hazy Walls of Chalk
A defensive skill that allows one to arbitrarily apply invincibility to someone in the party. NP also increases a bit.
Following how it is called "hazy," the target temporarily shifts out of the time axis to avoid an attack.
If the rank was higher, attacks from a higher order dimension could also be ignored. That principle is close to a certain defensive self-targeted Noble Phantasm.
Shield of Rousing Resolution
A skill that temporarily raises one's own defensive power and draws in an opponent's attack.
It is only bestowed upon those who muster their courage and protect the back of those who egress before anyone else.
This is not a skill that comes from the Noble Phantasm, but rather the form Mash's mentality takes.
Noble Phantasm
Lord Chaldeas: Imaginary Noble Phantasm Pseudo Deployment/Cornerstone of Anthropic Principle
Rank: D Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm Range: 1 Maximum Target: -
Lord Chaldeas.
The Noble Phantasm deployed by Mash in accordance to her instincts, without understanding the True Name of the Heroic Spirit possessing her.
As for why it is crowned with the name of Chaldea, one would think that is because the wish that lies on Mash's basis is "to see the future of mankind".
