This version of Galahad is the Heroic Spirit whose memories are incomplete and voluntarily gave up his journey to seek the Holy Grail halfway.
Galahad Alter's skin is incredibly pale. In his casual clothes Galahad Alter wears an indigo dress shirt rolled up to the elbows, unbuttoned at the collar to reveal his chest. He wears black skinny jeans and his hair is tied into a rough ponytail that cascades down his back.
Galahad Alter has a snarky and cynical attitude and teases his Master, but at the end of the day he's loyal to her and cares about her safety and health.
While a guest in Chitose Manazuru's home he helps himself to her alcohol and has no problem calling hookers over. He finds hookers to be the most wonderful women in the world, the complete opposite of the tiny, curveless, unlovable fool Koharu.
Galahad Alter does not think highly of the regular Galahad, referring to him as someone who had no wish for himself and no idea what to do when he found the Holy Grail. Galahad Alter realized he lived his entire life on force of habit, and calls that realization a fate worse than death.
He still has some knightly aspects, such as protecting Voyager from Lucius to repay his debt to Erice after saving him and Koharu from Nzambi.
Using Galahad's sword belt as a catalyst (despite summoning with catalysts being illegal in Mosaic City), the Riedenflaus family tried summoning the regular Galahad. They ended up summoning Galahad Alter instead.
The Boy Among the Stars
Koharu and Galahad are the rising stars of Akihabara's Holy Grail Tournament, which is sponsored by Koharu's family. Erice Utsumi befriends them and Koharu invites her to watch their upcoming match, even providing free tickets for Erice and her friends.
When Nzambi attacks the tournament with zombified Servants Koharu and Galahad fight her, but are easily overpowered by the Divine Spirit. When Chitose Manazuru orders Lucius Longinus to attack Voyager, Galahad protects Voyager as repayment for Erice saving Koharu from Nzambi.
Shinjuku the Nostalgic City
With Koharu's Magic Circuits damaged by Nzambi from their fight, the Riedenflaus family considers her unsalvageable and plans to replace her. However they cannot simply scrap her and start over, because ever since Voyager appeared no new Servants have been able to be summoned, which means they wouldn't be able to summon Galahad a second time. As a result they need to keep Koharu around until they can find a way to transfer Galahad's contract to a new homunculus.
His second sword is his proper Noble Phantasm, but Galahad Alter currently refuses to use it. Since Koharu's Command Spells and Magic Circuits have been damaged by Nzambi's curse, Galahad Alter does not want to harm his Master by activating it. It is presumably the sword of Sir Balin, a sword which Galahad pulled from a stone in legends.
