GalateaWP (ガラテア, Garatea?), Class Name Berserker (バーサーカー, Bāsākā?), is a Berserker-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Identity[]
One of the Greek myths, a character in the story of King PygmalionWP.
Pygmalion, the king and sculptor of Cyprus, was disillusioned with a real woman and remained single, but at one point he carved an "ideal woman" out of white ivory. He fell in love with the statue he created and gave it clothes and jewelry. He talked to, hugged, and kissed it like a lover. He sincerely hoped that the statue would be a living woman. The goddess Aphrodite, who was watching it or was delivered by a prayer accepted Pygmalion's wishes and gave life to the statue. The statue, which became a human being, became Pygmalion's wife and later had a child.
She was unmistakably born from King Pygmalion's love. Love that God will hear the wish is indistinguishable from madness.
It was only natural that Galatea, who was born of the king's too strong love (madness) and spent her life with Pygmalion, would have that love (madness).
Therefore, Galatea as a Servant is summoned as a Berserker. "I was born of the love of King Pygmalion and convey that love. I wish you all true love..."
Giving life to a statue called Galatea, it was the goddess Aphrodite who made her human.
Where did the "life" given at that time come from?
…. Actually, the basis was "Aphrodite herself".
Of course, it is not the body of God, but only a small part of it is separated independently and used as the core of the constituent materials.
Still, God is God.
If you look close at those divine-level eyes, the basis of Galatea's existence is Aphrodite.
Understandable.
It's unclear exactly why Aphrodite, who lives in free-spirited love, did that...
Aphrodite is said to have two sides, the aggressive "Pandemos" that controls death and the "Urania" that controls pure love, and what is the latter side to King Pygmalion's "love"? It is presumed that it was because there was something to think about.

Abilities[]
Deep inside, the "life" granted to Galatea came from "Aphrodite herself". Despite the fact that it's not the goddess herself but just a fraction that was isolated and separated, and merely was made the core of the composition material, even so, a god is a god. If someone with eyes at the level of a god had a good look, they would unavoidably understand that the basis of the being called Galatea is Aphrodite. The power of Galatea to battle is also due to the divinity of Aphrodite, but since Galatea herself is not aware that she is in the genealogy of Aphrodite, she gives recognition by saying "Aphrodite is still giving me blessings."
Skills[]

- Statue Maiden (A Rank): A skill that displays that she's being born from a sculpture carved in ivory. As a Servant, she has the properties of an inorganic thing in her spiritual body. Because the components of Mystery of her anecdote engraved in human history cause her to "have been a sculpture." That mean that fundamentally she is in a conceptually overlapped status of "being human but also being a sculpture". Even in the case that her body is damaged, it will be fixed back to normal if it's put together. In battle, she can become harder than the average Servant if she steels herself. This means she can control her percentage of "human" and "sculpture" with her will. It's also possible for her to be in a status of 100% human, or 100% sculpture.
- Blessing of Aphrodite (EX Rank): A skill that shows the nature of the goddess Aphrodite within her. According to legend, Aphrodite gave life to the statue after learning of Pygmalion's sincere wish.
