Gransurg Blackmore (グランスルグ・ブラックモア, Guransurugu Burakkumoa?) is the sixteenth of the The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors in Tsukihime Worlds. In Fate Worlds, the title of Dead Apostle Ancestor does not exist, and he has been deceased for almost two millennia as of the 21st century.

Long ago, in a time when he was still a human, Blackmore encountered Brunestud of the Crimson Moon on a night of a blue moon.[1]
Tsukihime Worlds[]
Within Tsukihime Worlds, around 300 to 500 AD, he didn't gave into despair at the death of his master, Crimson Moon, and instead continued living.
Fate Worlds[]
Within Fate Worlds, Gransurg died 1700 years before the time of Lord El-Melloi II Case Files. In despair at Crimson Moon's defeat to Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, he gave into despair and accepted his destruction. Despite having reared disciples, he was defeated by an Executor of the Holy Church that chanced upon him on a night of a blue moon, and gracefully accepted defeat.[1]

When he died, a family of Magi that watched over a certain cemetery took his name in his honor, as a sign of respect for him. This family is said to have a connection to Gransurg.[2][3][4][5]

Lord El-Melloi II Case Files[]
He is mentioned by Zepia Eltnam Atlasia as someone who would have become a comrade of him, but that was a possibility that was───like the end of several possible branches, cut off nearly 1700 years ago. He is also mentioned as the Dead Apostle from whom the cemetery was named after in a sign of respect for him.[3]
Abilities[]
Within Tsukihime Worlds Gransurg is a Rank IX Ancestor Dead Apostle, possessing one of the Idea Bloods and a undisclosed Principle. As such, Gransurg is among the very pinnacle of Dead Apostles above the Successors who not even True Ancestors can lay a finger on.[6]

Upon the continent, in the countries of Western Europe, the influence of the Holy Church expands.

On account that Crimson Moon was annihilated, Gransurg Blackmore does in the midst of despair accept annihilation.

Advancing in their excavation of Britain's subterranea, the Clock Tower acquires a vast thaumaturgical asset.
As of the waning thaumaturgical world, the Clock Tower becomes as a light of hope, and numerous magi and individuals of means therein gather.

(Being that at this time, the Faculty of Policies was treated still as an academic faculty, there were twelve faculties.)

Zepia assumes posting as the Director of the Academy at Atlas.
Said posting subsequently persists unto present day.

The Faculty of Policies is in its manner of existence viewed as problematic, and its standing as an academic faculty is annulled.
Subsequently, it becomes as the Department of Policies, and the twelve academic faculties are amended to eleven.
Circa 1800 AD
England, the Industrial Revolution.
Though this was as a severe blow to the thaumaturgical world, escalation in the complexity of knowledge and technology did likewise confer certain benefits.
Being as unto the Holy Church — which had by pushing 「a singular worldview」 expanded its influence — it constituted an unparalleled attack, the Association even provided backing.
Contemporaneous, the internal conflict on the matter of whether to regard the Industrial Revolution with affirmation did subsequently become as the root cause of the dispute between the Aristocratic and Democratic Factions.

弟子たちを育てるも、ある青い月の夜、ふらりと訪れた代行者と戦い、潔く敗れる。

ブリテン島に残っていた真エーテル（第五真説要素）も消失。

現代魔術論というジャンルが無視できなくなり、失われた十二科の枠として追加される。
なお十二科として追加されたものの、いまだ現代魔術自体が侮られていたため、この段階では君主（ロード）は配されていない。

日本の聖杯戦争とかいうチンケな儀式でロード・エルメロイ死亡。

The cemetery from Gray’s hometown.
The land protected by Bersac Blackmore.
Originally, the land was inhabited by a family of magi that manipulated spirits, and regarded birds as sacred. The name Blackmore is apparently drawn from a powerful Dead Apostle connected to this family. Though the Dead Apostle in question perished some two thousand years ago, the family took his name as a sign of respect for him. At this point, that family’s original name is no longer known.
At any rate, that family has now become one of gravekeepers, and though temporarily, they have been entrusted with the remains of King Arthur.ブラックモアの墓地【場所】
ベルサック・ブラックモアが守る土地。
