Kashin Koji was an "extraordinary black magician" who served the Fuuma ninja clan under the first generation Fuuma Kotarou. Known as a "cold-blooded man," he was the manufacturer of Katou Danzou. She was imbued with Kotarou's techniques. They both can be called her "parents."[3]

Kashin Koji also changed Sugitani Zenjuubou's gender as a way for Sugitani to hide after he tried and failed to assassinate Oda Nobunaga. Though while Kashin had offered to change his appearance, Sugitani hadn't expected to be turned into a woman.[4]
Appearance[]
Their current appearance is a woman (Kashin Koji Last Model: Jorougumo) but the appearance they took when they built Danzou was a man (Kashin Koji Midstage Model: Akushirou). Which was the gender of Kashin Koji's original flesh body is not registered in her memory.[1]
After replacing parts of their body with mechanical puppet parts bit by bit, ultimately there were barely any parts of Kashin Koji's original flesh body left. "There must Be at least oNnNe part leFt", she says if this was not her problem.[1]
As Kashin Koji was losing their identity in the process of losing their body, he had no choice but to rely on external support to define himself. Consequently, he came to choose actions based on what others saw him as. For example, if someone noticed Kashin Koji resembled their dead mother, she would define herself as the dead mother and behave as she would.[1]
Kashin Koji's visage as a summoned Heroic Spirit is that of one specific girl. She was the wife of a Sengoku general separated from him by a young death. She is the face Kashin Koji wore until her death.[1]
Her current "calm and reserved" personality is merely a replica of the girl. ―All left of Kashin Koji's original essence is in the deep scarlet gaze melancholically staring far away.[1]

Presence Concealment (A Rank): As Kashin Koji was summoned as an Assassin, they possess the highest rank of Presence Concealment. They mastered ninjutsu through careful analysis of the first Fuuma Kotarou's art of the shinobi. Since their body is mostly mechanical, they have little to nothing in the way of any presence of a living being.[1]
Karakuri Construction (EX Rank): A pseudo-skill of Item Construction. They create puppets (mechanical devices) at will that vastly outstrip the technology available during their lifetime. Kashin Koji rarely speaks of the source of this skill, but as a type of a gejutsu, this advanced technology and production skill are on the level of the Mystics. In this game, "puppet shinobi" created by Kashin Koji, using the help of the first Fuuma Kotarou, refers to Katou Danzou.[1]
One Eye Lost Somewhere (B Rank): Kashin Koji has lost their own self. As such, the body constructed by genjutsu and puppetry always resembles somebody's special someone, which blunts the enemy's blades and emboldens allies. This skill is not used in this game. (Out of consideration for Master and others so as to not confuse them, Kashin Koji's basic appearance and mannerisms appear to be set to Kashin Koji Final Form.)[1]

Illusion (Genjutsu) (EX Rank): Kashin Koji is a legendary practitioner of genjutsu and it was said that they easily toyed with famous warlords of the warring states period as they liked. This can be fatal to the target when used as a psychological attack. When illusion and puppetry are combined, it can even be possible to overwhelm an entire army. Kashin Koji prefers to call this skill the more old-fashioned "Gejutsu" or "Gehou".[1]
Apparatus for Slaughter (B+ Rank): A skill that is similar to, and yet nothing like, Aptitude for Slaughter. It is a killing application that is intentionally applied to develop puppets (mechanical devices). In this game, this skill activates the combat puppet inside Kashin Koji's body to increase their combat ability.[1]
Kashin Koji's Mystic Eyes.
Mystic Eyes (A→B Rank): Kashin Koji's left eye can bind a target. When used with the Illusion (Gejutsu) skill, its effect increases. This Mystic Eye is the only remaining original part of Kashin Koji's body. According to them, their eyesight is worse than it used to be, which means the skill was originally likely ranked at A.[1]
Noble Phantasms[]
Kashin Koji's main Noble Phantasm is Karakuri Gehou. Superhuman murder technique performed through the simultaneous use of her Mystic Eye and machinery. She slaughters her target(s) with a tempestuous attack that leaves no room for resistance.[1]
Kashin Koji's second Noble Phantasm is Youjutsu Zanhou, which she uses to
finish off her opponents after using her first Noble Phantasm.[1]
