Larva TiamatWP (ラーヴァ/ティアマト?), Class Name Alter Ego (アルターエゴ, Arutā Ego?), is an Alter Ego-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order Arcade and Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Identity[]
Larva Tiamat is an Alter Ego created by Tiamat of the Fate/Grand Order world for the purpose of manifesting in the Babylon Singularity of the Arcade world. With the advent of a "fellow calamity from the sea," she manifested for the purpose of protecting the humanity that defeated her from destruction. Tiamat formed her larval Alter Ego with the basis of "what if I reset myself and were reborn."
Larva is sent to the Compiled Event that the calamity is creating and luring them to the Revelation Liner. Therefore, she has clear memories of being defeated by humanity. She's always in a bad mood because she remembers the pain and humiliation, but the Divine Spirit has a greater and much more important affection telling her she wants to "protect humanity".[1][2]
Appearance[]
Larva Tiamat appears a younger version of Tiamat's Femme Fatale form with light blue hair, a small chest, pink eyes with star-like pupils, and prominent horns which she describes as being very heavy. She wears a small blouse with two long sleeves that cover her hands. When she reaches her third Ascension in Fate/Grand Order Arcade, she assumes a form closer to the Femme Fatale, albeit without her shackles and a long, flowing dress. This form is also used as her third Ascension in Fate/Grand Order, with an outfit more similar to her Femme Fatale form and her Titan form's horns floating behind her. Her appearance in her final Ascension in Fate/Grand Order Arcade is completely indistinguishable from her Femme Fatale form, save for the absence of the restraints.
Weight can't be measured in the Imaginary Sea, but in her Alter Ego state, she gains a weight appropriate to her physique. The + marks the weight of the horns. "THEY'RE-A-BIT-HEAVY", says Tiamat.[1]
Personality[]
She is said to still be rather upset over her past defeat in the Babylonia Singularity, but has chosen to set her grief aside for the sake of her children's continued existence.
Young Form[]
Extroverted and passive. She hates humanity in general (she actually just has things to complain about), so she makes a grumpy face, but despite that, the mysterious girl insists that she will protect humanity from everything. Her standoffishness comes from her pride and status telling her that the Mother of Genesis has a duty to point out humanity's faults. Due to her younger body, the Mother of Life's ability to accept everything is lowered, but the essentials of her personality, attitudes, and ideals remain the same. Those being the motherly nature to protect, raise, and love humanity.
A maiden yet a mother. (Like a young, well-educated little lady with a motherly side)
Complex yet innocent. (Considerate like a mother, pure-hearted like a child)
Her treatment of humans is blunt, but not distant. She'll be locking arms with you when you least expect it.[1]
Adult Form[]
Introverted and active. By the third Ascension, her aforementioned haughtiness and standoffish attitude are mostly gone, with her having switched to a doting Overprotective Parent Mode.
Due to her all-consuming fear of the words "I hate you, mom", the lady is... dedicated, if anything.[1]

Role[]
Fate/Grand Order Arcade[]
Babylon: Critically Propserous City[]
Tiamat arrives to aid Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight.[7] They fight Nebuchadnezzar II.5.[8] After joining forces with Enkidu,[9] they defeat Nebuchadnezzar.[10]
Fate/Grand Order[]
Spiraling Testament World: Lilim Harlot[]
Abilities[]
Tiamat states her Parameters in this form are limited, and that they are merely around the level of a "very strong Heroic Spirit." Mash Kyrielight is impressed by her standards and casually regarding herself as "merely" strong Heroic Spirit level.[7] Her Magical Energy is not on the level of the Regression to the Age of Gods even while going all out, and she states Nebuchadnezzar II.5 surpasses her in that regard.[9]
In her Final Ascension, Tiamat regains access to the full power of her Beast counterpart.[11]
Combat[]
In battle, she fights with magical attacks derived from the five great elements.
Even with the support of Mash Kyrielight, Lancelot, Sakata Kintoki, and Tamamo-no-Mae, Tiamat doesn't stand a chance at defeating Nebuchadnezzar II.5, forcing them to retreat after fighting him for a while. While the King of Babylon disregards the other Servants as trash, he states to be interested in Tiamat.[8] After joining forces with Enkidu, Tiamat and the others fight Nebuchadnezzar again. While Enkidu suppresses his powers, Tiamat and the others attack him, successfully killing him in the process.[10]
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Authority of the Beast (C Rank): A Skill also called Anti-Human Order. Her attacks become super effective against all born from a womb, be they Heroic Spirit, Divine Spirit, or anything. Since she's in larval form, the rank is lower than what it was for the fully developed form.[1][2] Mash Kyrielight states that she feels compelled to obey Tiamat's instructions. Tamamo-no-Mae speculates that because Tiamat is Babylonia's creator goddess, perhaps Human's DNA is programmed to follow her orders.[8]
- Independent Manifestation (D Rank): The Skill to appear in the World without outside help. It got lowered one rank from being a larval form and another from voluntarily rising from the sea to the land. She can manifest on her own, but she'll be demanding absurd amounts of Magical Energy from her Master (she's a needy one).[1][2]
- Divine Core of the Goddess (EX Rank)
- Self-Modification (EX Rank): By making use of the black Sea of Life, she can remold her own Saint Graph. From a regular Saint Graph state, she grows into a dragon form with an overall length surpassing 60 meters. In her dragon form, Tiamat invalidates any attack with a rank lower than A++, but in her juvenile form, she can only maintain the dragon form for just a few minutes.[2]
- Infantile Regression (A Rank): Since the Mother of Genesis became the Daughter of Genesis, her Self-Seal Skill morphed into this Skill. In exchange for losing her overwhelming strength, she's freed from the shackles she used to restrain herself on that mind that "I'm no longer necessary for humanity". She returned to her childhood, but her core directives as the "mother of all life" remain the same. Since she's a child, she dotes on her Master but her Master dotes on her 10 times more. Kingprotea's Infantile Regression "converts the excess growth of her Saint Graph into Noble Phantasm gauge to return her to her default state" but since Tiamat's larva's version functions as a passive Skill, she lacks the ability to get bigger, and in exchange, can fill her NP gauge just by breathing.[1][2]
Personal Skills[]
- Eye of Blue Star (B Rank): Something harboring the will of the planet (Earth), or perhaps the light dwelling within the intelligent lifeform that is the power of the planet itself. The Earth version of what Humans call "Mystic Eyes". It targets everything in sight.[2]
- Eye of Red Star (B Rank): A more hostile and offense-oriented Mystic Eyes of the Planet. It changes Tiamat's attack power and Magical Energy attribute while conferring a powerful curse to every target in sight.[2]
- Sea of Blue Stars (A Rank): A version of the "Sea of Life" skill that is more geared towards protecting and nurturing Humanity. It reinforces the Endurance, Mana, and Noble Phantasms of every party member, but Tiamat's mana is fiercely consumed in the process.[2]
Noble Phantasms[]
Larva Tiamat's Noble Phantasm is Nammu Duranki. An extremely simple and physical Attack Noble Phantasm where she temporarily returns to the Sea of Life, manifests in her Draconic Saint Graph, and pulverizes her enemies with a Mana Burst from a gigantic Saint Graph.[1][2] This attack is regarded as Beast II's full power, and is implied that she can only use it in her Final Ascension. It wasn't powerful enough to take down Rebloomed Bestia Coccinea.[11]
In Fate/Grand Order, she is capable of summoning a copy of the Chains that bound her in the Seventh Singularity.[3]
Development[]

Larva/Tiamat (CV: Aoi Yuuki) - Comments from Illustrator (Kotetsu Yamanaka)
She is drawn from the image of pure seawater, a teardrop of Mother Goddess. The clean Source of Life who takes the form of an innocent young girl and steps out slowly. Having overcome her delusions of the past, she embraces “human (small thing)” gently and warmly.
When I heard Aoi Yuuki-san using the voice of her former appearance, I was reminded of the way she looked up over her shoulder in the Final Ascension picture, and I felt like I was holding back my faint tears, as if I was grabbed by the heart, and sobbed.
For the themes of each designs, First Ascension is “a little ballerina and a rainbow-colored tiny lizard”, Second Ascension is “a tall girl who is a little accustomed to others’ culture and is obsessed with learning to play”, and Third Ascension is “a big sister who remembers how she was like during her youth and tries her best as a lady to be a role model”. In the rejected proposals, I also considered a petit mermaid or a larval dragon carrying an egg (it was too much).
