Le Comte de Monte CristoWP (モンテ・クリスト伯爵, Monte Kurisuto Hakushaku?), Class Name Avenger (アヴェンジャー, Avenjā?), is an Avenger-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru during the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Identity[]
- Main article: Edmond Dantès#History
Popularly known as The Count of Monte CristoWP (モンテ・クリスト伯, Monte Kurisuto-haku?) and the King of the CavernWP (巌窟王, Gankutsuō?), the individual who possesses the world's greatest popularity as an avenger.[1][2]
The story of the King of the Cavern is treated as a literary creation by Alexandre Dumas (père), but it has been confirmed in modern times that the "Abbe Faria" who guided Edmond when he was imprisoned on the Château d'If actually existed...[1][2]
However, Dumas and Edmond had met as Dumas was dining in a high class restaurant, putting doubt as to the story being fictional.[3][4]
An improbable alternate Saint Graph of the most famous Avenger in the world. The new Saint Graph that the Count of Monte Cristo transformed into to fulfill one objective. Compared to Edmond Dantès, which was manifested as what could be considered the raw concept of an Avenger, this Saint Graph is closer in essence to the actual Count who once unfolded his revenge tragedy in Paris.[2]
According to Alessandro di Cagliostro and a flashback, both Theodoric and the Beast of Gévaudan manifested once before in the south of France, where they rampaged for seven decades. They were found and slain by the Count of Monte Cristo in 1838 to prevent them stealing the chance to torment Fernand from the Count, but such is a hidden part of history.[5]
