Leonardo da VinciWP (レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチWP, Reonarudo da Vinchi?), Class Name Rider (ライダー, Raidā?), is a Rider-class Servant of the Chaldea Security Organization in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order. She first appears as a combatant in Fate/Grand Order Arcade.

Identity[]
Although Rider is a copy of Leonardo da VinciWP (レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチWP, Reonarudo da Vinchi?), her Profile lists her True Name as "Gran CavalloWP" (グラン・カヴァッロ, Guran kavu~arro), Leonardo's horse statue that never saw completion.[1] She is a backup body created by her Caster self as a means to inherit her memories and pilot the Shadow Border in the case of her death.

An innocent, pretty Hybrid Servant, she sails through the battlefield on roller skates, and fights using the Ultimo Manipulators deployed from her all-purpose backpack.[1]

While a male normally, Da Vinci says that the Mona LisaWP represented the ideal beauty she pursued during her life, so she feels nothing wrong in having become that beauty itself.

Personality[]
The same as Da Vinci for the most part, but slightly closer to that of a young girl. She tends to use gentler word choices and girlier speech patterns.
Beneath the way she treats people and talks to them,
her underlying attitude is similar to that of a student: "I'll be learning everything under the sun, so could you teach me?", as opposed to that of someone who "lectures you as a teacher or wise person".
Kind of like a little girl bugging you to "Read me a book!".
Unlike other Heroic Spirits, Da Vinci remained full of curiosity and hunger for self-improvement even after becoming a Servant. Even if only a dream of the dead, he was someone who lived in the present (now).
Small Da Vinci is much the same. She spends her days and nights busy in order to achieve all that she can. However, as she is running on a weaker engine now, she bears some dissatisfaction and uncertainty towards herself.
"Am I doing as well as the previous me?"
Her saying this is an expression of that uncertainty.
Although she inherited all the memories of the previous Da Vinci, small Da Vinci never experienced any of those memories herself.
Because of that, she envies "the years that my original self spent together with the staff of Chaldea".
This also leads to a anxious desire to make memories to match up, and a sense of responsibility that "I have to leave results that I can be proud of, even when compared to the original".[1]

Da Vinci killed by Rasputin.
Da Vinci is killed by Grigori Rasputin during the Foreign God's attack on Chaldea. Soon after however it turns out that she had created a backup body to transfer her mind into, which is this new younger Da Vinci. However the younger Da Vinci thinks of herself as a separate person from the original. Da Vinci pilots the Shadow Border as the remnants of Chaldea escape the Oprichniki who destroyed their base.[5]

Da Vinci, Mash, and Fujimaru are the only Chaldea members who make landfall in the English Lostbelt while everyone else stays on the Storm Border in the ocean near Cornwall. After being separated from the group in the Nameless Forest, Da Vinci finds her way to Salisbury where she starts working at Mike's tavern while learning about the Fairy Kingdom of Britain.

Da Vinci is taken captive by the Ocelomeh and brought to Mexico City, along with Sion, Kadoc, and Nemo.[9] Sion and Da Vinci are chosen to be sacrificed by the Ocelomeh, but Fujimaru and his party rescue them just in time.[10]
Abilities[]
Proto Border
In this form, Da Vinci is using a spare body she created for herself in case of emergency. Due to being a relatively low-cost solution, it has a commensurately low output.[5] As such, her Spirit Origin remains in low power mode,[7] and her power is that of a low ranking Servant.[5] She's just an imitation who's lost any combat ability she may have once had.[6]
Although in this form she can't be considered to be a real servant,[6] she remains a genius without peer in history. However, even she can't do anything with weapons that were forged by gods or legendary smiths, since those weapons have their origin in Mystics from a time long before her own. Nevertheless, she's still able to modify Billy the Kid's Thunderer, improving it to the point where he'd be able to "shoot through anything and everything" in exchange for a great kickback.[8]
In combat, Da Vinci has a school backpack that can produce two giant mechanical hands, and doubles as missile launcher and a jetpack. The mechanical arms can fire a variety of energy beams and homing laser projectiles at a selected target from the palms or fingertips, can be electrified and be covered in blue fire, can rotate at great speeds that allow the large sharp fingers to become sawblades, can be fired like rockets at her target, can be used to launch da Vinci at the enemy to kick them, and of course just straight up punch them.[11]
Within Fate/Grand Order Arcade, da Vinci uses the Proto Border (プロトボーダー?) instead of the Shadow Border.[12]

Class Skills[]
- Riding (B Rank): The talent for riding. She can ride ordinary vehicles and mounts better than your average person, but she can not mount demonic or sacred beasts.[2]
- Territory Creation (C Rank): The ability to create a magic workshop. Perhaps due to having no past records of doing so, the rank of the skill decreases compared to the Original Da Vinci's.[2]
- Item Construction (A Rank): No information available. (FGO Arcade Only)
- Overhaul (E Rank): Da Vinci disperses nanomachines made from Pseudo-Spiritron Particles, bringing the entire party's condition "back to its original state". At maximum rank, this skill not only repairs broken weapons and damaged Spirit Origins, but even returns party members to their NP conditions at the start of battle. However, in her vessel of a young girl, Da Vinci does not possess that degree of ability.[1][2]
Personal Skills[]
- Golden Rule (Body) (EX Rank): The range of her abilities grew smaller with her smaller body, but her Golden Rule rank increased in return. Although asking Da Vinci about her gender wouldn't usually yield any answers, this may have been due to her taking on the body of a young girl, bringing her closer to the religious definition of an "angel".[1][2]
- Accel Turn (B Rank): A skill inspired by summer goddess Ishtar. As a skilled driver, this lets her perform an emergency dodge at critical moments.[1][2]
- Dreams for the Stars (D Rank): A hope and conclusion that all synthesized, fleeting lifeforms hold. This Leonardo da Vinci has lost "Pioneer of the Stars". However, the reason for her existence as a sentient being, and the ideal that all such short-lived beings should strive towards, reside in her soul in the form of "art". (As someone created by Da Vinci, the "peak of human sentience", young girl Da Vinci had that sentience passed down to her, and she understands the true "objectivity" that comes from being a transient, short-lived being. Mash Kyrielight and other such homunculi share this truth.) Having lived through the eons, this planet will soon face its end. To you children who have only been given mere tens of thousands of years to advance: Please, show this dying planet one last dream - at the end of your small, brilliant childhoods.[1][2]

- Dream Machine (A Rank): A supportive dinosaur mecha that da Vinci developed while she was asleep. Although they may be simple, to an extent they have autonomous functions and thoughts, and each of them moves in a dinosaur-like way.[13] They are:
- Treasure Checker (B Rank): Her first time treasure hunting, developed from a fortune acquisition skill specifically to track treasures. Essentially, it tracks gold, silver, and other precious minerals, but in the situation of combat, it acts as an active sonar.[13]
- Shine at Twilight (EX Rank): Every adventure has its end. When the Singularity ends, it will have been like it never happened. But no matter how short that twilight was, it sparkled all the same. The effects are not dissimilar to “Dreams for the Stars”.[13]
