McDonell Trambelio Elrod (マグダネル・トランベリオ・エルロッド, Makudaneru Toranberio Eruroddo^?), also known as Lord Trambelio (ロード・トランベリオ, Rōdo Toranberio^?), is the head of the Trambelio Magus family, Lord of the Department of General Fundamentals of the Clock Tower, and leader of the Democratic Faction of the Clock Tower in Lord El-Melloi II Case Files.

Background

Born into the Lord and Great Noble Trambelio family, McDonell has grown up with maturity beyond his years as the next expected Head. He is also a powerful politician due to his life association with the Trambelio family.

McDonell currently has six wives and has thirteen (natural and adopted) daughters, presumably from his wives.

Appearance

McDonell possesses a trained, muscular giant body and short blonde hair with a goatee. Due to his advanced age and stressful working environment, McDonell has deep wrinkles on his face, however, his body does not portray his elderly side.

Judging from his appearance, he is around forty to fifty, but for mages, appearances could not be trusted. He wears a suit that has obviously been custom-made, as the high-quality perfectly outlined the muscles on his shoulders and back.

Personality

In contrast to Barthomeloi family members, McDonell is a relative pacifist and more willing to acknowledge a person's accomplishments, whether they by ally or enemy. He is a believer of individual potential and hardwork. He is protective of his daughters and is a respected family man, accepting his wives' divorces freely.

His fashion sense is closer to Bazett Fraga McRemitz.

He is the one who called for the Grand Roll, intending to make a proposal to redevelop the Spiritual Tomb of Albion, and in the process reorganize the distribution of harvested materials. The Aristocratic faction is opposing him on this, preferring a more conservative approach. At the meeting, Lord Trambelio produces one of Heartless' apprentices, who turns out to have been his daughter, Asheara Mystras.

Abilities

His Magecraft is the personification of General Fundamentals, the zenith of Individual Fundamentals. He has the dual Elemental Affinity of Fire and Wind.

McDonell holds the Clock Tower's record of Od amount and possesses extraordinary regenaration of it, being considered unparalleled, which enables him to rapidly and repeatedly use spells of the highest classes of offensive Magecraft for up to an hour before needing to stop. Due to this, McDonell possesses a superhuman trained body to support the load, for superhuman close combat and for future combat situations when he is over the time limit.
