Mori Ranmaru^WP (森 蘭丸^?), Class Name unknown, is an unknown class Servant summoned in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.

Profile

Identity

A military commander in the Warring States period, Mori Ranmaru.

The third son of Mori Yoshinari, and retainer of Oda Nobunaga. An attendant of Nobunaga, he is known by the more popular name of Ranmaru.

Part of the Mori clan^WP that served Oda Nobunaga during Japan's Sengoku period^WP, Ranmaru, also known as Naritoshi (成利^?), was the younger brother of Mori Nagayoshi.

He died at his lord’s side during the Honnouji^WP Incident.

Appearance

While Chacha says that Mysterious Ranmaru X is definitely not the Ranmaru she knew, Nagayoshi admits that he forgot how his brother looked, leaving it slightly ambiguous if Proper Human History's Ranmaru was actually male.

Personality

Chacha describes Ranmaru and Nagayoshi having acted flippantly due to Nobunaga being not being strict with them.

With the collapse of the singularity, Demon King Nobunaga mentions to Nagayoshi, who wishes to remain with her as she perishes, that, "Ranmaru wouldn't so much as give me the time of day if I took you down to the underworld with me!" Nagayoshi concedes, telling his lord to give Ranmaru his regards.

Ranmaru was summoned in the Holy Grail War before Chaldea's arrival. Sakamoto Ryouma killed Ranmaru and kept Nobunaga's head. Upon the arrival of Ritsuka Fujimaru, the Servant Universe version of Ranmaru, Mysterious Ranmaru X, arrives in the Singularity.

GUDAGUDA ACE RE

Mori Ranmaru describes his life under Oda Nobunaga care, until the events of Fire of Honnouji Castle. Ranmaru escapes with Nobunaga's head but eventually passes away with a smile, still holding the skull dearly to him.

When Archer faces Berserker for the first time and realizes he is Oni Musashi (Mori Nagayoshi), she refuses to fight him on the grounds that she's indebted to his and Ranmaru’s father Mori Yoshinari and wouldn't want to make Ranmaru sulk.

Abilities

Ranmaru's sole known Noble Phantasm is the lost head of Oda Nobunaga. As something that does not exist in history, it is a powerful Mystic Code capable of creating countless historical divergences when combined with the power of the Holy Grail.
