XX Alter is the endgame form of Mysterious Heroine X Alter, honed through countless battles across the Servantverse. Her presence reflects the poise of a legendary supervillain, tempered by the fortitude acquired through the trials of defeat. Probably. Hopefully.
As an Alter Ego generated from an alternate X Alter, Mysterious Idol X Alter usually falls outside the memory repository accessible to XX Alter. However, it seems that elements of Idol X were somewhat blended into the Chaldea summoning process, causing XX Alter to struggle with distinguishing them apart.
Following her survival of countless life-threatening encounters, Ecchan has (self-proclaimedly) ascended to the role of a true supervillain. All that aside, she simply wanted to try on swimsuits. Wasn’t she the one who said she would never show any skin, anyway?
"This is, huh... a tropical camo for hyperthermic conditions, yeah. You need the proper gear for that kind of terrain. It’s better than not having anything, right?"
After her deathmatch with Mysterious Heroine XX at the climax of the Cosmo Guardian Trilogy, she was presumed dead after being consumed by a black hole. Though her Saint Graph was shattered by the event horizon, she successfully evaded complete destruction by selecting and pulling away one crucial aspect of it. By letting go of her Black Knight, she suffered further memory loss during her escape. Chaldea's XX is likely unaware of her nemesis’s return yet.[1]

If X Alter is a purring kitty, then XX Alter is more like a stray, streetwise cat. She embodies the classic archetype of the enigmatic, bookish, easygoing older woman with a sweet tooth, commonly found late at night snacking in your average store dining area. While she takes on the guise of an evil villain, she serves her master with knightly devotion and accords them the respect of a magus. Such instances evoke memories of her mentor, Master Agravain.
Her reaction to the nickname 'Ecchan' is generally unenthusiastic, except when addressed by Mysterious Heroine X (XX), after whom she named herself. This connection might be key and the omen to the continuation of her battle.
