NitocrisWP Alter (ニトクリス〔オルタ〕?), Class Name Avenger (アヴェンジャー, Avenjā?), is an Avenger-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.

Identity[]
Nitocris Alter is an aspect of Nitocris unable to be summoned in Proper Human History. Not possessing the natural aptitude for the Avenger Class due to being an "avenger without vengefulness," only through the circumstance of being given an Alter Saint Graph would she manifest in the class. She manifests as a unique Avenger possessing the Class Skills of the Berserker class.[1]
She has become the earthly embodiment of Anubis and a fearsome arbiter of divine punishment, although is not quite a Divided Spirit of him. While she hasn't formed a Divine Core, Nitocris Alter possesses magical energy on par with a Divine Spirit. The reason her Saint Graph hasn't become a Divided Spirit of Anubis with a Divine Core is possibly because the Pharaohs from the Sixth Dynasty of Egypt wished her not to.[1]
As the inversion of her Caster self ruling the netherworld despite being the incarnation of the sky god Horus, Nitocris Alter is the Queen of the Netherworld who inhabits the sky.[1]

Personality[]
Nitocris's heart is now as calm as ice. The intensity of Nitocris's hellfire-like fury has made her lose most of her emotions, giving her an icy calmness. No doubts can be seen from this Pharaoh who wears the name of judgment. Her dignified form, which wavers not even in front of the other Egyptian Heroic Spirits, brings to mind a Pharaoh Nitocris who faced her tomorrow as a ruler instead of taking her own life.[1]
In her Third Ascension, Anubis' personality becomes more mixed with hers. Nitocris feels like the personality is mostly Anubis, while Anubis feels that the personality is mostly Nitocris.[2]

Nitocris offers her heart to Anubis.
While fighting Camazotz in his domain, Nitocris realizes that they can't defeat him. She acknowledges that Camazotz was correct, that the reason she killed herself and kept herself from going to a paradise afterlife was because she felt she was also a sinner for killing her brother's killers with underhanded tactics. Nitocris performs a ritual that Xquic told her about, which is to become an Alter by betraying her own beliefs. Nitocris tears out her heart and offers it to Anubis to judge her soul. In doing so, she realizes that the reason Camazotz saved her was because he had forced himself to forget everything so that he would not live in despair, while she in contrast would become an avatar of vengeance who administers divine punishment.[4]
Nitocris Alter declares that she will administer the punishment that Camazotz has been running from for 6 million years, giving him atonement in death. With her power, Camazotz is brought to the brink of death as Nitocris Alter's magical energy runs out and she turns back into Nitocris. Unconscious, she falls from the sky, and Camazotz jumps up to save her. He lets her down safely and vanishes, now remembering his people.[4]

- Mad Enhancement (E Rank): Nitocris Alter does hold madness within her, but possesses more than enough reason to carry through with the same kind of premeditated crimes as the ones from her legend. This Skill causes no defect in her ability to reason or communicate, and the effect it has on her stats is extremely minimal. Ordinarily this is the Class Skill of Berserkers. Heroic Spirit Nitocris is an Avenger without vengefulness, and would ordinarily never be summoned as a genuine Avenger. However, if for some peculiar reason there was a situation in which she was established with an Alter Saint Graph, Nitocris would be able to be summoned as a unique Avenger possessing the Class Skills of a Berserker, but only then.[1]

- Arbitration of the Netherworld God (A Rank): A portion of underworld god Anubis' Authority made into a Skill. According to the Book of the DeadWP, Anubis would measure the hearts of the dead, and arbitrate them depending on their deeds in life. Due to it being ranked down compared to Anubis' regular Authority, using it will not destroy her Spiritual Core.[1]
- Wind of the Desert Night (A Rank): A variation of Imperial Privilege. As the one akin to the fiercely blowing and freezing winds of the desert night, Nitocris rules the domain of the night.[1] When using it, glowing sacred hieroglyphics appear around her.[1]
Noble Phantasm[]
Nitocris Alter's Noble Phantasm is Neferu Suen Anubis. Nitocris Alter unleashes her full might as Anubis' earthly avatar. She manifests a gigantic Divided Spirit of Anubis, Egyptian god of the underworld and the dead, then brings merciless arbitration and judgment upon the world. This Anubis Divided Spirit is much more powerful than the Anubis statue that appears in her Caster self's Noble Phantasm, Anpu Neb Ta Djeser.[1]
When releasing this Noble Phantasm's True Name, sacred hieroglyphics the same as the ones that appear when using her Wind of the Desert Night Skill appear. This is perhaps the protection of the long line of Pharaohs from the Sixth Dynasty of Egypt, who wish to protect the entirety of Nitocris' soul from being consumed by the might of Anubis and his netherworld.[1]
Nitocris also uses Anpu Neb Ta Djeser in her Extra Attack animation, though this is not commented on in her profile. She makes use of this Noble Phantasm in Id. After striking the Scales of Perdition with her first Noble Phantasm, followed up the assault with her mirror. Using it in tandem with borrowed power from the Shadow allowed her to bring forth the Dioscuri from Chaldea, who proceeded to finish off the Second Trial with their Noble Phantasm.[5]
Forms and Alternate Versions[]
The Scales of Perdition[]
During the events of the Second Ordeal Call, a version of Nitocris Alter manifested as the Second Trial. However, her Spirit Origin was different from the one previously observed by Chaldea. Due to her circumstances, Nitocris Alter is normally a "vengeless avenger", incapable of becoming a perfect avenger and requiring madness as part of her Saint Graph. The Nitocris that serves as the Second Trial however is a pure flame, a true Avenger without the Double Class Skills of a Berserker.[6] However, this impossible summon is regarded by her original self as merely a fake, urging Fujimaru to eradicate this version with extreme prejudice should they ever meet them.[5]

Nitocris Alter was capable of summoning massive hordes of skeletons and ghosts, amassing an entire army of Underworld soldiers. She also had command of multiple Divine Beasts, the Huah Sphinxes.[6]
