Okita Souji was the captain of the first unit of the Shinsengumi, a public order organization that was mostly active in the Kyoto of the Edo period's closing days. Even among the Shinsengumi, which was feared as a band of master swordsmen, the one admired as the strongest genius swordsman was Okita.
During her childhood, while she was still an apprentice at the Shieikan, the dojo of the Tennen Rishin-ryuu in Edo's Ichigaya area, Okita Souji met Hijikata Toshizo and Kondo Isami, core figures of the Shinsengumi in the future. She was skillful enough to serve as the head coach of the Shieikan at a young age, and there was no person who was superior to her regarding the talent with the sword.
Kondo formed the Roshigumi on behalf of being bodyguards for the Shogun in the third year of the Bunkyuu era, and Okita went to the Imperial Capital to participate in the group together with Hijikata. After the break up of the Roshigumi, Kondo formed the Shinsengumi together with Hijikata, and Okita was entrusted with the position of captain of the first unit.
Demonstrating their sword abilities in many conflicts like the Ikedaya Incident and so forth, the name of the Shinsengumi roared throughout Kyoto of the Bakumatsu era. However, Okita's body was adversely affected by an illness around that time, and her physical condition gradually deteroriated. Before long, she withdrew from the frontlines for medical treatment.
Afterwards, Okita continued her life of recuperation while separated from her comrades, but in the fourth year of the Keio era, she died at the place where she was medically treated in Edo's Sendagaya area. It is said that she died without knowing of Kondo's death, who was decapitated two months prior to her death.
"We swore oaths on our swords together, we raced through the times together, and we did battle together."
"Even if a meaningless death lies ahead in the end, I wanted it to be that way."
"Engulfed in a warm light that narrowly lies ahead, I did not want to do something like looking up at the skies."
"However, it would have been nice if I had the character "sincerity" together with me up to my final moments."
"Right now is the time."
Okita Souji is a female in history and she looks similar to King Arthur. A girl in her mid-teens, who wraps her body in fashionable Japanese clothing. In order to conceal her original costume, which is simply too conspicuous, Okita normally uses this outfit, wearing a Taisho-style Kimono that consists of a Hakama and long leather boots.
Okita has both the facet of a cool-headed manslayer, as well as a cheerful side that is fond of children. Although she is essentially a cool-headed manslayer, towards those who pardoned that mentality, Okita borders on being openly friendly as if they were members of the same organization. During her lifetime, since she had nearly no relationships in regards to love affairs, she is poor at exchanging conversations in that area. She is also shown to be clearly oblivious in regards to certain things, such as Hijikata Toshizou is a Berserker, or that the Shinsengumi are famous enough to be quickly identified.
Okita's wish for the Holy Grail is "to fight to the bitter end." Her dearest wish from while alive, which ended not being achieved no matter how much she wanted to. Even now, after having turned into a Heroic Spirit, she is regretting not having fought to the end together with her comrades and has a wrong impression of herself as a failure of the Shinsengumi's soldiers.
- Oda Nobunaga
- There is a relationship between them since they competed in a certain Holy Grail War. Okita has good compatibility against this opponent as the effectiveness of the latter's ability that is specialized in Anti-Mystery is bad against her, and she furthermore thwarts the Archer's forte in marksmanship with her Reduced Earth... or so it should be, but in "Fate/Grand Order", the compatibility has been reversed!? No wayyy!!
- Li Shuwen
- There is a relationship between them since they competed in a certain Holy Grail War. Even Mibu's Miss Okita has a question mark above her head as he appears to be vigorously slaughtering his enemies barehanded in spite of being a Lancer.
- Kanata Akagi
- Their relationship between them seems neutral, but they get along well during Fate/type Redline. She's very protective and deeply cares about her Master, Kanata. She doesn't care if Kanata is a coward or not, she will always respect his decisions and listen to his commands. She wasn't mad at him after he told the truth about him being from the future and Tsukumo was her true Master in the original timeline.
- Tsukumo Fujimiya
- The exact relationship between them in the original timeline where Tsukumo was her Master is unknown, but they worked together and faced many enemies during the Imperial Holy Grail War. In the new timeline, she finds Tsukumo annoying and a threat towards Kanata. She often repeatably suggests to her Master to abandon her. She shows no hesitation of almost killing her when she threatens Kanata (Unknown to her, if she kills her, she will unintentionally wipe out Kanata's existence).
Sakura Saber appears as a joke character in Koha-Ace. She becomes a regular character afterwards, and her identity is revealed in a later issue. Mordred calls Saber father and Sakura Saber mother due to their similar appearance.
Okita Souji is one of the main characters in Fate/KOHA-ACE. The Imperial Capital Holy Grail Strange Story was later re-adapted in a more serious tone in Fate/type Redline.
Okita and Oda Nobunaga travel from their world to Ritsuka and Mash's world while chasing a bizarre creature resembling Nobunaga called Mini-Nobu. After Romani Archaman reports that a Singularity colliding with Chaldea is the source of the creatures, Okita and Nobunaga join forces with Chaldea to destroy the source of the Mini-Nobu.
Arriving in the Singularity, Okita tells Ritsuka and Mash about how the Imperial Holy Grail went out of control when it was tampered with strange technology. Later, the group observes Musashibou Sessai and Imagawa Yoshitune with an army of Mini-Nobus. Nobunaga suspects the Mini-Nobus brainwashed the Servants. Okita further suspects that the Servants have gained some unnecessary factors during their summoning. Agreeing with a night raid on Sessai and Yoshitune's army, Okita decides to get their attention so the others can ambush them. However, her illness alerts Matsudaira Arash to the group's presence. They fight him and flee when he prepares his Noble Phantasm.
The group later defeat Takeda Darius and Sanada Medusa followed by Uesugi Artoria. After Romani reports that a particle is contaminating the Servants, the group is ambushed by Shimazu Setanta, Chousokabe Emichika, and Mouri Medinari. However, Okita recovers from her illness and dons the Coat of Oaths in anger after hearing the enemy's names. She defeats them but collapses immediately afterward.
Once she recovers, the group head for "Osaka". Along the way, she reveals the Singularity wouldn't have been created if Nobunaga didn't try to turn the Grail into a bomb.
Arriving in "Osaka", the group defeat Toyotomi Gilyoshi, Takenaka Andersen, and Kuroda Mephisto. Nobunaga betrays the group however when she uses the teapot transformed core of the Grail left by Kuroda to restore her power. She then reveals her plan to use the Grail to take over the Singularity and proceeds to reveal her True Name. Ritsuka and Mash aren't surprised though. Okita explains Nobunaga revealed her name during lunch. Another Nobunaga then appears and reveals the Nobunaga who accompanied the group to "Osaka" is an impostor. Said impostor had tied up her when she took a bathroom break. In response, the other Nobunaga reveals that she wanted to get rid of the real Nobunaga so that she could become the real Nobunaga. The group decides to call the impostor: Bad Nobu and the real one: Good Nobu. Bad Nob then activates Demon King of the Sixth Heaven and proceeds to fight the group.
With Bad Nobu's defeat, the Singularity begins to collapse. Okita thanks Ritsuka and Mash and leaves after saying her goodbyes. However, she and Nobunga reappear in Chaldea again asking for help dealing with Bad Okita, but Mash asks both of them to leave.
Event: Saber Wars
Paracelsus von Hohenheim tells Okita that Mysterious Heroine X's ship is the source of evil. He tells her to destroy it, saying she is useless other than killing. Okita admits she doesn't care for evil or justice, but Paracelsus's words nonetheless irritate her. X suddenly attacks both of them. Okita is shocked because she wanted to join X and the others, adding not even the Mibu Wolf would kill opponents who surrendered. She is annoyed that Paracelsus is the type to die self-satisfied.
Event: Garden of Order
Okita and Nobunaga are Servants missing from Chaldea to serve as tenants in the Ogawa Apartment. They reside in Room 801. When Ritsuka's party comes, Okita is out punishing thugs. She eventually returns with ice cream she bought on the way back and asks Nobunaga what flavor she wants.

In Fate/type Redline, Okita is summoned on board a train when Kanata Akagi drops his light novel into Tsukumo Fujimiya's magic circle while she was trying to summon a Servant. The light novel acts as a catalyst and as a result, Kanata gains the Command Spells instead of Tsukumo. Okita is immediately attacked by Lancer, but she stabs him in the throat through a gap in his armor while he was introducing himself, then finishes him off and calls him a fool for trying to talk in the middle of a fight. Kanata is terrified of her because of her casual murder and the fact that she resembles a character in his light novel. She asks him if he is her Master. Though confused, he says he is. She says their contract is established, holds his hands, and gives him a smile, stunning him with how beautiful it is.
Tsukumo is angry at Kanata for stealing her Servant. Suddenly, Archer appears and challenges Okita, complimenting her eyes as those of a real killer and saying this battle should be fun. She tells Kanata and Tsukumo to run and clashes with Archer.
Their battle is interrupted when the Mysterious Officer tries to shoot Archer in the back twice. When Archer blocks the bullets, the officer furiously rants that they are just monkeys and that he and the Third Reich will win the Holy Grail War and claim the world. Okita and Archer are both annoyed by his rant and Archer kills him. Archer then tries to kill Kanata and Tsukumo has to pull him out of the way. Archer mocks her for not being able to protect her Master, infuriating her.
Okita parries bullet after bullet but can't close the gap. She tries to distract Archer by hurling Lancer's helmet and lunges, only for Archer to fire with one of her floating guns and graze the top of her head. Archer mocks her for thinking a simple trick could fool her, then lines up several guns and fires. The attack ends up destroying a large portion of the train, and Okita gets thrown into the car Kanata and Tsukumo are in. He asks if she is okay, but she tells him to stay back and not risk himself being attacked by Archer. Tsukumo asks her if she has any aces up her sleeve. When she confirms this, Tsukumo asks her to use them right away and take down Archer before the train is completely destroyed. Okita retorts that she does not take orders from her, only from Kanata, her Master. Kanata is still confused and scared, but reluctantly orders her to do whatever it takes to defeat Archer. Archer catches up to them and tries to shoot Saber, but Saber uses Lightless, Three-Stage Thrust to dodge the bullets and stab her in the shoulder.
Archer admits she underestimated her and pulls the blade out, then admits she came to confront Lancer and did not expect her. When they are about to fight again, Archer is called away by her Master, so she leaves while promising to kill her next time. Okita grabs Kanata's face and examines him because his cheek is swollen from Tsukumo slapping him, then says they should leave before people come. Tsukumo introduces herself and says she was supposed to be Saber's Master, then asks Kanata where he came from and what his goal is. Okita looks on confused as Kanata suddenly grabs Tsukumo's shoulders and stares at her face, shocking Tsukumo and making her blush.
Okita becomes alarmed when Kanata starts crying, but he brushes it off. As the trio salvage the train's wreckage, she apologizes to Kanata for not adequately protecting him from Archer and promises to win the Holy Grail for him. She then attempts to persuade him to leave Tsukumo behind. Offended, Tsukumo says they'll need her help to win. An air raid siren sounds. When Okita doesn't understand it, Tsukumo explains what it means and reveals their country is in the middle of a war, calling it a cruel joke.
Okita rests in spirit form as Kanata and Tsukumo wander the Imperial Capital, then stop somewhere so Tsukumo can explain to him about the seven Servants, Command Spells, and the Holy Grail War. When Kanata decides he wants to win so he can use the wish to return to the future, Tsukumo slams his head into the table and threatens to kill him unless he agrees to fight for her wish. Okita materializes and threatens Tsukumo with her sword. Kanata tells her to stand down and says he agrees to fight for Tsukumo, but Okita insists she only fights for Kanata. He and Tsukumo then surprise her by recognizing her as a member of the Shinsengumi from her uniform, as she did not believe they would become famous. Tsukumo gives them some money and orders them to buy some regular clothes to blend in.
She buys a kimono and Kanata says it looks great, then takes her to a restaurant. She says she dislikes Tsukumo, so he asks her to get along as Tsukumo is important to him. Saber asks how that can be as they just met. He dodges the question by ordering ice cream. As ice cream hadn't been invented yet in Okita's time, she is delighted when she tries it and amazed when he says he eats it quite often. She then tries coffee but doesn't like its bitterness. He asks Okita if killing bothers her. Suddenly, soldiers from the Imperial Japanese Army walk up and point guns at him. She kills them all in a split second, splattering him with blood and traumatizing him. She says killing doesn't bother her because she dealt with it all the time and that people who are bothered by death are the first to die. She wipes his face with a napkin and says he has to become stronger and get used to death, because he's going to see a lot worse.
He starts to freak out and vomits, saying he cannot get used to this and cannot fight. She says it is the Servant's job to fight. He asks why she would willingly serve a loser like him, then asks what her wish is. She is shocked when his hand starts to vanish due to Assassin mortally injuring Tsukumo, his ancestor.
She says they need to get out of here and hide while wondering what is happening to his body, but he says Tsukumo is in danger and they need to save her. She says she cannot leave him alone, so he says he'll come with her. She checks the perimeter for any more soldiers while getting confused why he cares so much about Tsukumo. She carries Kanata in her arms while jumping on rooftops to return to the hotel where they left Tsukumo. She tells him she can be his sword or his shield, but at the very least she wants to stay by his side until the end.
She and Kanata are later arrive back to the hotel to save Tsukumo just in time before Asasassin can kill her. She charge at Assassin and they start their fight.
He blocks her attack and kick her. She can be seen going back to her Master’s side as she listen to Assassin’s demands to Kanata. Saber then looks in horror as Kanata’s body starts to disappear further after Assassin pieces Tsukumo’s shoulder. She calls out to her Master and somehow his body is restored. She felt the power flowing into her after Kanata uses his first Command Seal to order her to kill Assassin. She quickly stops Assassin from killing Tsukumo and she overpowers him, noting she will gladly obey Kanata's command to kill Assassin without hesitation. She told Kanata that she must abide by the Command Seal’s order and it’s up to him to protect Tsukumo. She knows she is important to him and he thank her. She gentle smile back at him before she faces off with Assassin. She and Assassin battle fiercely without struggling or breaking a sweat. She later save her Master by deflecting his sword onto the stool. As Saber attempt to slash Assassin, but he vanish until he suddenly appears behind her. She tries to move back, but Assassin uses flash step and slash her back. She notices Assassin is imitating her flash step techniques until Kanata warns her about him that he’s the ghost of Tosa and he can imitate any sword techniques he sees.
She tries to deflect Assassin's strike with her sword, but she suddenly had a vision that not only her sword will be broken, but she will lose an arm. She quickly changes her position and manages to survive his attack by redirecting it which sacrificed part of her sword hilt, but she loses a piece of her upper right arm. She re-attached her sleeve with a string from her sword sheath. Since she foresaw Assassin's attack, she was able to do a counter strike and cut off two of his fingers. When he freaks out about his injury, she calls him out as a hypocrite as he had mocked Tsukumo when he took her fingers. She knocks him out the window, continues to pursue Assassin, and manages to heavily injure him. Before she can finish him off, Assassin's Master uses a Command Seal and makes Assassin retreat. Assassin disappears while swearing to kill her next time. After the battle, she suddenly starts coughing out blood which shocks her.
The following day, Saber can be seen observing the town and make sure Imperial Japanese Army soldiers aren't around. Afterwards, Saber spot several Imperial Japanese Army soldiers who were disguised as civilians, unconscious or knockout on the ground. She later encounter a Servant, who politely greets her in a friendly manner while Saber glares at him. After Rider introduced themselves, wanting to form alliance to take down Archer and share her history from the previous holy war, she still doesn't trust Rider. She coldly decline Rider's offer and tells him to kill Archer themselves as she attack him. She misses and only slashed Rider's right hand revealing he doesn't have any Command Seals. When Rider tries to reason with Saber again, she won't listen to him as the only person she trust is Kanata. She attempts to decapitated Oryou with her katana, but her weapon doesn't cut through due to Oryou's harden skin. She barely dodges Oyrou's attack and realizes she didn't kill her so decides to attack Rider instead. Suddenly Saber felt pain inside her and starts coughing until Oryou took advantage by kicking her to the ground. After Saber come out from one of the destroyed buildings, she starts coughing out a large of amount blood from her mouth. Due to her weak condition, she began to hallucinate as she sees Oryou as Archer who mocks her. She asks him if he wish to deny her, he must take his sword and fight her. She is later shock to see her Master come to her side out of nowhere. She asks Kanata how did he find her; Kanata explains he followed her Mana since he wasn't able to telepathically communicate with her. She explains the situation about two Servants who claim to be Rider to Kanata. After Rider explain his offer to find a place to hide from the Imperial Japanese soldiers in exchange to helping them to take down Archer together, Saber demands Kanata to use his second Command Seal so she can kill Rider, but he refuses and decides to accept Rider's offer. Saber expresses disappointment in her Master.
Saber is mentioned by Kanata that she wants to be lookout outside. She is seen outside until Kanata approach her and offer her some corn to eat. She apologizes him for letting the enemy show pity on them and how she got nothing, but shows how pathetic she is. He denies and asks her if this is how he feels about her. He tells her if wasn't for her, both him and Tsukumo would be dead. As long as they can still think about what to do in the future, it's not over for them. Kanata's words manages to cheer Saber a little as she express relieve that he and Tsukumo are safe since she is important to him. After Kanata told her truth about him being 75 years in the future and his grandma is Tsukumo, was her original Master, she is overwhelming and shock about it.
Sakura Saber and Demon Archer are the regular hosts for Fate/GUDAGUDA Order.
Even among the Shinsengumi, which was feared as a band of master swordsmen during the Edo period's closing days, Okita was admired as the strongest genius swordsman. Okita is a Servant specialized in close-quarters combat that possesses both immense skill and Agility. Usually, Saber is considered the strongest class due to having the best overall Parameters, but it would seem that in her case, her base stats are actually quite low. Although she is a genuine genius swordsman who possesses both transcendental finesse and innate talent, as a member of the Saber Class, Okita's low Endurance and Magic Resistance stand out. In addition to her illness from shen she was alive, this is also a result of being heavily painted over by the impressions held by the later masses; in a sense, she is under the influence of a curse very similar to Innocent Monster. As one can probably guess from her stats and skills, she's kind of a rare case within the Saber class.
Due to the fact that she wears an extremely famous haori, figuring out her identity is relatively easy. However, Oda Nobunaga even after having fought her once, still has no idea who she is, so she couldn't figure out her name.
Although Oda Nobunaga has an edge over Okita at long range, in truth, Nobunaga is a very advantageous match up for her. Okita states that this is because she can nullify Archer’s shooting advantage with her Noble Phantasm and her better Anti-Mystery abilities such as Unifying the Nation by Force are not strong against her. However, in the Fate/Grand Order game which is based on a class advantage system, the advantage was turned against Okita.
During Okita's first fight with Oda Nobunaga, Okita is unable to make a move to attack Oda due to her Master being in danger. Nobunaga mocks her saying that her inability to attack is quite laughable for the strongest class. Nobunaga states that Okita Souji seems pretty well adept at killing, but not so much at protecting. As seen when Okita ends up being wounded by her for lowering her guard while protecting her Master. The impact of each of Nobunaga's bullets feels incredibly heavy while blocking them, but Okita couldn't just dodge them or they would hit her Master. Nobunaga takes advantage of this and keeps spreading her fire so that Okita can't get close to her. During their second fight, Nobunaga remarks that Okita is very fast, and that fighting her is as hard as fighting Sakamoto Ryouma.
Right after being summoned, Okita defeats Fake Lancer Cú Chulainn by taking advantage of his openings while he was explaining his true identity. In Fate/type Redline, she also kills a different Lancer prototype in a similar fashion. She was able to cut his throat through the openings in his armor in an instant, without Lancer even seeing her draw her sword. She can easily cut through Maxwell's Demon, but she is unable to kill him due to his Devil's Proof skill. Caster's Neo Fuhrer is so strong, even the combined efforts of Okita Souji, Oda Nobunaga empowered by all Command Spells, and spearless Li Shuwen are unable to take it down.
Although Okita's coat Noble Phantasm is usually always active in combat, even without it, her power is remarkable. She is seen exchanging blows and holding her own against Mori Nagayoshi. Okada Izou was able to stop one of her strikes effortlessly, despite her being empowered by a Command Spell. Okada retreats once the strength of the seal starts increasing. With the support of Mash Kyrielight and weakened Oda Nobunaga, Okita fights Matsudaira Arash. Once he starts charging Stella, the group is surprised by its incredible amount of power. They decide to retreat and get out of range before he fires, with Okita claiming they've got no other choice. Later on, the group defeats Uesugi Artoria. Artoria says she can't believe she lost, and states that it must be because she had stopped herself at only three bowls of rice that morning.
- Magic Resistance (E Rank): The Saber class usually boasts high Magic Resistance, but due to the fact that she lived in a time that had very little Mystery, her Magic Resistance skill is very weak and unreliable. It is just a token addition to identify her Class. "Did people even us Magecraft during the Bakumatsu to begin with…? Maybe Feng Shui they did use…"
- Riding (E Rank): The Riding skill is given to all Sabers, but due to there being no record of her ever using a mount, she's been given the skill in its lowest rank.
- Mind's Eye (Fake) (A Rank): The ability to evade danger through instinct or a sixth sense. The ability to predict danger through natural talent. Also bestows resistance to obstruction of one's sight.
- Weak Constitution (A Rank): Natural weakness, frail constitution. In Okita’s case, as result of being modified by the impression she left for posteriority in addition to the disease she had when she was alive, she received a curse similar to Innocent Monster, where the perception of the people in the future affects the existence of the Heroic Spirit. All of her actions come with the risk of a sudden status drop. Looking at the probabilities, it’s activation rate is actually not that high, but if it does activate during combat, the risks are immensurable.
- Reduced Earth (B Rank): A technique to instantly reduce the distance between herself and the opponent. The ultimate walking tecnique many martial arts try to achieve. It’s not pure quickness, it’s a perfect combination of multiple phenomena, like walking techniques, defensive body movement, Breathing and blind spots. If it reached it’s highest rank (A), it would no longer be a simple technique, it would become dimension hopping, something on the realm of Xianshu (Senjutsu).
Okita also possesses an extremely powerful trump card known as Lightless, Three-Stage Thrust. With three steps she warps space, erasing the distance gap between her opponent and her. Although it was a huge gamble, it allowed her to defeat Oda Nobunaga, who fights at long range, during their first fight. By their second fight, Nobunaga states that since both Okita and her are Servants with low Mystery, Okita might be stronger than Sakamoto Ryouma, who Nobunaga had already defeated, along with his Like a Soaring Dragon Noble Phantasm. Okita also used this ability to kill Mori Nagayoshi by destroying the core of his armor.
Okita's final Noble Phantasm is Flag of Sincerity. During her second fight with Oda Nobunaga, her Weak Constitution is triggered. Despite being weakened, Okita defeats Demon Archer again now with her Flag of Sincerity.
Forms and Alternate Versions
Okita J Souji (オキタ・Ｊ・ソウジ, Okita J Sōji?) Look at that swimsuit figure who soars through the summer sky.
The sparkling light of spiritual darkness at dawn, eh, is, right... Who?
Her name is "Okita J. Souji".
She is the mysterious Shinsengumi girl, who is proficient in the sword style of a details unknown Galaxy that is the Jet Tennen Rishin-ryu. Flying through the sky with a jet pack mounted on her back, looks like the rampaging outlaw ronin is doing her hunting round in Vegas again today.
"Swimsuit Okita-sa... No, Okita J. Souji-san is in perfect form~! That's right, even my body is dynamic, isn't it? Eh, you have doubts about the jet? No way..."
Mysterious Shinsengumi girl Okita J. Souji..., what is Okita Souji, Captain of the first unit of Shinsengumi, anyway?
The jet aside, what is this "J" supposed to be, "J" is.
"Jetpack Instruction manual: Normal Form"
It's a miraculous gadget loaded with all the technologies scattered over the enigmatic universe. It is implementing a galaxy level airspace systemic pressure with the hyper-braking mechanism and the hyper-acceleration by Ether jet propulsion. As an anchored equipment, it has things like the Kiku Ichimonji Blade, Vulcan Photon, and Photon Missiles.
"Jetpack Instruction manual: Second Form Transformation"
It's a special equipment for spying operation purposes that fully demonstrates her true ability. It is equipped with various features suitable for things like stealth mode, instant-win Miburou style, or even assassination.
The outfit is a truly new costume jersey Haori that combines the looseness of a jersey and the stealthiness of the zigzag-pattern black Haori. As a transformed armament, it is equipped with the Kiku Ichimonji Blade, version β.
Having read this far but you still don't understand what is being explained at all? Don't worry. I don't either.
By the way, there is also something like a wonderful-invincible-summer-Okita-san mode that perfectly conceals all equipment. When it is time to come and play, I use that mode.
To Okita-san who is dressing up in swimsuit, the concept called jetpack is this summer topic's puzzling style of somewhere unknown.
Things like her usual personality don't change much compare to her true self, however, her class has changed from Saber to Assassin.
Because of her originally high aptitude to the Assassin-class, she seems to be showing fighting strength comparable to her Saber-class in terms of performance.
As for the effects of having turned into Assassin-class, in the Second Form for spying operation purposes, she is showing more of her killer-who-doesn't-mess-around aspect.
This appearance is most similar to her state as a killer who would indiscriminately slaughter people who have no ambitions, and look down on the fears of those who oppose her.
- Presence Concealment (J) (Rank B-): No information available.
- Magic Resistance (J) (Rank C): No information available.
- Existence Outside the Domain (Rank E): No information available.
- Jet Tennen Rishin-ryuu (Rank A): The sole swordsman who was able to master the Rural Galaxy Sword Style "Jet Tennen Rishin-ryu" of legends, which is said to have been unable to be mastered by anyone since the dawn of history. There is also a theory that no one had any intentions of mastering it. There are many rumours about it.
- Mind's Eye (J) (Rank A-): The ability to avoid danger thanks to her natural instinct, Sixth Sense, her innate talent increases her foresight of perils, the jetpack's OS, "Miburou System", performs a quindecillion near-future predictions, and transmit them directly into her brain. And yet, in the case that her killer's systemic intuition basically giving out the opposite outcome for the predictions, it would sabotage her instead.
- M DRIVE (Rank EX): The mysterious engine with a built-in Operating System that simulated her battles with all the universe's outlaw ronin, and space imperial loyalist samurai who overthrown the Shogunate. While it is possible to draw out the power to surpass the airframe's ability when she in Overdrive, due to the overload on her body, when the airframe starting to collapse, she would expectedly fall into a dangered state.
Creation and Conception
Sakura Saber was first introduced as part of a joke in that Takashi Takeuchi was supposed to introduce a new Servant in Koha-Ace, but instead drew another version of Saber.
It is worth noting that Irisviel von Einzbern wears an almost identical outfit in Onegai! Einzbern Consultation Room.

If one achieves the highest rank of A, it evolves into something more akin to dimension-hopping and becomes less of a technique and more like a kind of sorcery.

Okita Souji; captain of the First Unit of the Shinsengumi, a public order organization that was mostly active in the Kyoto of the Edo period's closing days.
Even among the Shinsengumi, which was feared as a band of master swordsmen, the one admired as the strongest genius swordsman was Okita.
Level 1 Bond
Source: Historical fact
Alignment: True Neutral Gender: Female
"Errr, I do not fire a beam"
Level 2 Bond
A lovely girl in her mid-teens, who wraps her body in fashionable Japanese clothing. In order to conceal her original costume, which is simply too conspicuous, she normally uses this outfit.
She has both the facet of a cool-headed man-slayer, as well as a cheerful side that is fond of children.
Level 3 Bond
- Mumyou Sandantsuki
Anti-Unit Magic Sword. Maximum Targets: 1 person.
The sure-kill magic sword of Okita Souji, a rare genius swordsman.
Within the "first thrust", a "second thrust" and "third thrust" are contained.
Not "almost simultaneously", but horizontal thrusts that are released "exactly at the same time" from the hiraseigan-no-kamae(1); a secret sword technique produced by transcendental finesse and speed.
Level 4 Bond
In the moment of the Sandantsuki, the first thrust, second thrust and third thrust exist "at the same place" and "at the same time".
Even if the first thrust is defended against, due the contradiction of second thrust and third thrust that exist at the same place piercing through, the sword's point causes a localized phenomena saturation.
Hence, the Sandantsuki becomes a sword that, in practice, cannot be defended against.
Rather than calling it an application, it also excels object destruction by making use of the resultant phenomena saturation.
Level 5 Bond
A genuine genius swordsman who possesses both transcendental finesse and innate talent, but as a member of the Saber Class, her low Endurance and Magic Resistance stand out.
In addition to her illness from while alive, this is also a result of being heavily painted over by the impressions held by the later masses; in a sense, she is under the influence of a curse very similar to Innocent Monster.
Her wish to the Holy Grail is "to fight to the bitter end". Her dearest wish from while alive, which ended not being achieved no matter how much she wanted to.
Even now, after having turned into a Heroic Spirit, she is regretting not having fought together with her comrades and has a wrong impression of herself as a failure of Shinsengumi's soldier.
(1)a posture from kenjutsu in which the sword is held in parallel to the ground, aiming at the enemy's eyes

 Fate/type Redline - Glossary: Saber, p.202
The Saber servant that made a contract with Kanata. A Servant specialized in close-quarters combat that possesses both immense skill and agility. She also possesses an extremely powerful trumpcard that allowed her to erase the space between her and Archer, who fought at long range.
Due to the fact that she wears that extremely famous haori, figuring out her identity was easy, but Archer still has no idea who she is, so she couldn't figure out her name.
Usually, Saber is considered the strongest class due to having the best overall stats, but it would seem that in her case, her base stats are actually quite low.
