The Divine Messenger
Ox-King's Huge Divine Messenger (牛王大神使, Goō Daishin-shi?) is both a Divine Messenger and a giant Demon that belongs to Gozu Tennou, summoned by Ushi Gozen as both her mount and Grand Noble Phantasm.
Ox-King Reversal - Frenzied Tempest[]
Ox-King Reversal - Frenzied Tempest (牛王反転・迅雷風烈, Goō Hanten - Jinraifūretsu?) is the first Noble Phantasm of Ushi Gozen.
It is a giant Demon that resembling both a Tsuchigumo spider demon and an Ox-Oni, the divine being that serves as Ushi Gozen's mount has its power momentarily amplified by Gozu Tennou's strength and performs a vicious strike. Everything in its path is pulverized by its enormous mass, thunderbolts, and raging tempest winds.
When strengthened by the leylines of Edo, it can grow absolutely massive in scale, dwarfing Asakusa.
Ox-King Reversal - Wicked Treachery[]
Ox-King Reversal - Wicked Treachery (牛王反転・悪逆無道, Goō Hanten - Akugyakumudō?) is the Noble Phantasm of Ushi Gozen.
The enourmous divine being that serves as Ushi Gozen's mount has its power amplified by Gozu Tennou's strength and runs wildly while destroying itself due to its heightened magical power. By launching an ultra high-speed assault while releasing lightning around it, it causes massive destruction over a wide area of 1 km in width and more than a dozen km in length.
In the Holy Grail War, it is difficult to release the true name of this Noble Phantasm, and it is an indiscriminate, wide-area destruction Noble Phantasm that prioritizes attacks on a city scale rather than against Heroic Spirits.
In this work, its true name is basically never released.
Trivia[]
- The kanji used in the "Reversal" part of this Noble Phantasm's name is the same as the kanji in Inversion Impulse, drawing a parallel as Ushi Gozen is half-oni.
- The last line in Ushi Gozen's chant when using this Noble Phantasm is the same thing that Minamoto-no-Raikou says while using Vengeful Lightning of the Ox-King.
