Sakata Kintoki (坂田金時?), Class Name Berserker (バーサーカー, Bāsākā?), is a Berserker-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Identity[]
Known by his famous childhood name KintarouWP (金太郎WP, Kintarō?), he was one of Minamoto-no-Raikou's Four Heavenly Kings. There are many legends about him, but no historical records to support them. He is the son of Raijin as a red dragon, and his mother is a cannibal mountain witch living on Mount AshigaraWP (足柄山, Ashigara-yama?). Kintoki was raised with the strength of a monster, fighting and killing beasts in the mountain. Eventually, his mother, an ogress, was vanquished by Usui Sadamitsu, but Kintoki, taken to Minamoto-no-Raikou, was taught the way of man, and became his retainer. He participated in many hunts for demons as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Yorimitsu. He is famous for the episode of the battle against Shuten-douji on Ooe-yama, where he disguised himself as mountain priest, drugged Shuten-douji's alcohol and struck him down. In that episode, he fell in love with the demon Shuten-douji disguised as a beautiful girl, and then had to carry this burden for the rest of his life.[1]
Appearance[]
Golden (ゴールデン, Gōruden?) is his given nickname. He has beautiful blue eyes under his sunglasses.
He retains his appearance from his original design of Fate/Apocrypha for his First Ascension in Fate/Grand Order. Despite belonging to the Berserker Class, Kintoki does not appear to be monstrous like many others within the class, nor suffer physical changes from it. However, he is rather tall and extremely muscular. He possesses straight golden hair, reaching down to his neck, evenly cut, and hiding his forehead. His eyes are hidden beneath sunglasses, which appear to have a violet tint. His main attire consists of a white, button shirt, with an oversized collar pointing upwards, which he wears with rolled up sleeves and the top buttons unbuttoned, exposing his chest. For the lower body, he uses black trousers and white shoes. He decorates his attire with golden accessories: a pair of belts with a large belt-buckle spelling the word GOLD, rings on every fingers except the thumbs, a golden watch on his left wrist, a spiky handband on the right, bracelets on both, and three golden necklaces, each longer than the last. There's also a silver chain tied to his belt loops. He is often seen carrying a cigarette.
In his Second Ascension, his clothes remain the same, but his shirt is fully open and his arms have turned red up to the elbow, an effect of his Mad Enhancement Skill. His trousers now have a golden streaks running up on the outer side of the legs.
In his Third Ascension, his shirt is replaced by a black short-sleeved coat with a white fur collar and white trimmings. It appears to be split into multiple strips and multiple golden dots are imprinted all over it.
He possesses an additional costume, called 'Heian Warrior Attire', the clothes he wore as a Heavenly King while alive. His sunglasses are gone, exposing his blue eyes. His hair appears to have become spiky and is worn in a ponytail that points upwards, tied by a grey and green bandana that hides his forehead. He wears white bandages around his right forearm. He wears an odd garment for his upper body, a skin-tight piece of cloth that ties around the right side of the body, covers his left pectoral, acts as a collar, and as a fingerless sleeve for the left arm, decorated with small pieces of black and green armor pieces with golden spikes. Blow the waist, he wears bluish-grey hakama, decorated with golden diamond-shaped ornaments, and black grieves with golden spikes, with sandals for his feet. On top of his golden axe, he carries, additionally, a katana and a large, wide, single-bladed sword that appears to have sustained damage from combat.
Personality[]
Kintoki is wild and arrogant, but firm and righteous. As he is particularly kind to mothers and children, he is a hero to all children. His mentality is that of an average grade schooler. Being summoned in the modern age, he quickly adopted popular habits. He likes flashy things and loves shiny things; he absolutely adores gold. He says "gold" and "golden" a lot about everything. He is very bad at love, which is his biggest weak point.[1]
Favorite Dog: Golden retriever[2]
Favorite Holiday: Golden Week[2]
Relationships[]
- Shuten-douji
- "Eh? What? You're sayin' I got pretty strong? Heh, I've always been strong. Wanna test me? If you do, you'll get knocked all the way to the sun! ...Uh, yeah...I don't mean we should duke it out now! Wait till we get to the simulator!"[3]

- They had shared a deep history in their previous lives.[2]
- Ibuki-douji
- "Ibuki-Douji... Seeing you makes me feel like I'm with an old friend. I wonder why. Well, as the two of us work for the same Master, let's just get along! Hm? What's that? Red Dragon? What about my old man...? Whoa! Y-you're getting real close there! She's pushed her face real close to me...and she smells nice... Hm? I know this scent... No no no no! Just back away from me!"[3]
- Ibaraki-douji
- "Hey, Ibaraki. Somebody gave this to me at the cafeteria... Hey, whoa. She's gone. Haha! And the chocolate I got is gone too!"[3]
- Minamoto-no-Raikou
- "Boss Raikou! How's it goin'? Startin' to get the hang of Chaldea...huh? What about Master? Oh. R-right. Being polite is golden important...ha...hahaha..."[3]
- They had shared a deep history in their previous lives. Being his lord, Raikou also acts as his parent. There was a time when Kintoki considered the latter as his stepparent upon leaving the mountain.[2]
- Minamoto-no-Raikou (Swimsuit)
- "General Raikou... Hey, no...it's me! This is the me who ain't even got his hair up! You got the wrong guy!"[3]
- Fuuma Kotarou

- Frankenstein
- A relation etched between lightning and electricity. Frankenstein is irritated by his wasteful manner of dispersing electricity. Also, due to her characteristics of “monster girl” and “forbidden love”, Kintoki probably sees an image of Shuten-Douji in her.[2]
- Nikola Tesla
- To be frank, this relationship is forced upon by the latter. To Kintoki, he’s a fitting opponent for a contest of strength, but the way he constantly meddles with him is troublesome.[2]

- Strong Servants
- "I wanna put my skills to the test. How 'bout it!?"[3]
Role[]
Fate/Grand Order[]
Fourth Singularity: London[]
Kintoki materializes from the Demonic Fog when Nikola Tesla reaches the surface, with the latter’s lightning acting as a catalyst. He correctly senses the era will be destroy if Tesla reaches the skies. The two prepare to fight when Tamamo-no-Mae appears to support Kintoki. Kintoki is able to resist the activated fog, but his Spirit Core begins to crack. He then uses Golden Spark to disperse the fog when Ritsuka, Mash, and Mordred reach the surface. Due to their exhaustion, he and Tamamo leave the rest to the group. He also thanks her for her support.[4]
He and Tamamo later join the others in the chamber of the fog’s source, Angrboda. Suddenly a mysterious figure emerges from a Rayshift-like distortion. He expresses disappointment in Gilles de Rais, Romulus, Jason, and Tesla for their failures. He then reveals he is the mastermind behind the Incineration of Humanity, Solomon. He reveals the ring of light seen in the skies of the Singularities is his third Noble Phantasm, Ars Almadel Salomonis. Out of his interest in Mash, he summons only four of the Demon Gods and attacks the group. The group kills one of the Demon Gods, however, Solomon kills William Shakespeare, Kintoki, and Tamamo.[4]
Event: Saber Wars[]
Kintoki, Charles Babbage, and Nikola Tesla locate Mysterious Heroine X's ship, having been told it's a source of evil by a voice from a lens that fell from the sky. Overhearing Tamamo talking about Shuten-douji, Kintoki notices her and asks her not to call Shuten. Tamamo replies she wouldn't call Shuten even if Kintoki asked her to. She prefers Kintoki and Shuten's relationship to remain private. Kintoki is relieved by this. He, Babbage, and Tesla then fight Ritsuka's party after EMIYA asks Artoria Lily to demonstrate how she has improved. Kintoki disappears impressed by Caliburn.[5]
Event: Rashoumon[]
Presumably, due to Shuten's wish on the Grail influenced wine to have fun with him again, Kintoki is summoned into the distortion.[6]
When Ritsuka and Mash arrive, they find him asleep, covered in cherry blossoms. Waking up, Kintoki decides to help the pair in investigating the distortion. He has a bad premonition when Romani Archaman says the aroma is the air is wine. The group then proceed toward Kyoto, where the source of abnormality is located.[7]
Traveling through a residential district, the group finds Kyoto covered in an alcoholic mist that affects even Mash. The city is also empty, other than drunk citizens and corpses on the street. The group soon comes to a large gate, where Kintoki realizes the mist and chaos in Kyoto were caused by an Oni. Ibaraki-douji then appears; Kintoki notices an unconscious Shuten floating behind her. Ibaraki declares she will sacrifice Shuten. She believes Kintoki is glaring behind sunglasses, though she doesn't why he'd be worried about Shuten when he tricked and slew her. Kintoki shouts he doesn't care what Ibaraki does, telling her to take her fight with Shuten somewhere else. He also believes Shuten will eat Ibaraki from the inside if the latter ate her. In response, Ibaraki summons the Great Grudge of Rashoumon, and declares she will devour everyone. Kintoki considers her stupider than before, recalling how she wasn't so bad since she only killed to survive. But now that Ibaraki is killing without reason, Kintoki has to kill her. The group then fight Ibaraki.[7] She and Kintoki are evenly matched, so she retreats beyond the gate. Left fatigued by the fight, the group leave to recover before trying again tomorrow.[8]
After another failed attempt to defeat Ibaraki, the group retreat to the field they first arrived in.[9] The next day, after fighting Ibaraki again, Mash realizes they don’t need to defeat her to solve the distortion. They only to need to destroy the source of her power beyond the gate first. However, climbing over the wall is out of the question because of a thick and sinister fog-like thing above the gate and wall. On Ritsuka’s suggestion, the group searches for any detour that can get them past the gate. They eventually find an enormous cliff on Kyoto’s west end. They find the topography doesn't match the Japan they know. Unable to find a detour, the group realizes they have to continue fighting Ibaraki.[10]
Following yet another failed attempt, Mash asks Kintoki if he knew Ibaraki in life. Kintoki answers he only knew her battle habits, having fought her several times. Ritsuka asks him if he knew Shuten, to which Kintoki uncomfortably answers yes. He describes how Ibaraki treated Shuten as her superior, even though Ibaraki was the boss of Mt. Ooe's oni while Shuten was a freeloader. He then gently describes how Shuten was wicked to her core yet also good-natured in a way. Then, after saying its job to slay oni, Kintoki goes on ahead while the others rest.[11]
After another attempt, Ritsuka dreams about a moment in Kintoki's past with Shuten. Kintoki says he and Shuten fought many times, with each match ending in a draw. He recalls how Minamoto no Raikou scolded him for forming a rivalry with an oni and drugged Shuten's wine to put the oni to sleep. He remembers how Shuten smiled at him after he decapitated her in her sleep and acted like she was enjoying her life to the last. For Kintoki, that moment never felt like a victory. It is also why he can't stand the idea of Shuten being controlled by Ibaraki now.[12]
The group nearly defeat Ibaraki. However, she unleashes her Noble Phantasm and escapes when it's blocked. Kintoki says her habit of using her Noble Phantasm as a cover for her escape is why she can't win against Shuten. He then describes how Ibaraki acts like a ruffian but is actually submissive, while Shuten is the opposite. He notes how Ibaraki is near defeat, so the group prepares for the decisive battle.[13]
The next day, Kintoki defeats Ibarki with Golden Spark. He then realizes the reason she captured Shuten, and gave alcohol to the humans, was because there was too much for her.[14] After Ibaraki retreats, Shuten finally wakes up. The group tries to fight her when she blocks Kintoki’s axe at the last second. She deduces her weakened state is due to Ibaraki absorbing her power. After Ibaraki retreats, Shuten finally wakes up. The group tries to fight her when she blocks Kintoki’s axe at the last second. After deducing she is weak due to Ibaraki absorbing her power, Shuten teases Kintoki by trying to kiss him for rescuing her. Kintoki quickly jumps back. Shuten then takes the group to the source of the abnormality, the Holy Grail.[6]
There she explains the Grail influenced wine caused everything that happened. After Shuten destroys the Grail and disappears, Mash realizes Kintoki was summoned in response to Shuten's wish. She wonders who placed the Grail before the oni and filled it with wine. Kintoki figures something else will happen if the mastermind is still around before disappearing.[6]
Solomon: The Grand Time Temple[]
Kintoki is among the "London" Singularity Servants that aid Chaldea.
Summer Event: Servant Summer Festival![]
During ServantFes, Kintoki takes particular interest in the mecha doujin that RItsuka’s party is selling at the convention titled “Giant Babbage”. He is so enthralled by it that he doesn’t notice Raikou getting ever closer to him. Now uncomfortably close to him, Raikou notes how he always loved big suits of armor and recalls how his eye shone when he first saw their clan’s great armor suit. Kintoki is so startled that he instinctively blurts out “Ma” before correcting himself to “Boss Raikou”. Raikou is happy that he called her his mother, proclaiming that material instincts have returned and are giving her extra “Prefect Power”. She then forbids Kintoki from purchasing the doujin, saying she knows of the unacceptable activities the media format portrays. She admits, though, that only counts for a low percentage of all doujin. Fortunately for Kintoki, he convinces Raikou that “Giant Babbage” is completely appropriate. He purchases the doujin and praises Ritsuka for it, saying he can’t wait for the day he can show off his giant armor to them,
On the night of another loop, he agrees to give Ritsuka and Jeanne Alter a ride to Mauna Kea, along with Mash Ushiwakamaru when they wish to join as well. However, he can only get them halfway up the mountain as that it is where the road ends. He is surprised by how desolate it is compared to the rest Luluhawa, to which Jeanne Alter gives some trivia about the mountain.
In the final loop, Edmond Dantès arranges for Kintoki and Astolfo to give Ritsuka’s party a ride to the convention center when Medb’s men show up to prevent the group from getting their final draft to the printer before the convention starts. Ushiwakamaru goes with Kintoki, while Ritsuka and Jeanne Alter go with Astolfo.
Olympus: Interstellar Mountainous City[]

Chibichuki![]
In Chibichuki!, Sakata Kintoki forms a group along with Cú Chulainn, Hideyoshi and Alice's Robin ploy. Kintoki reenacts MomotarōWP (桃太郎?) story where he plays as Momotarō, Hideyoshi plays the role of monkey, Cú Chulainn plays the role of dog and Robin plays the role of the pheasant.
Abilities[]
As the child of Sekiryu, the god of Mt. Ashigara, Kintoki was born with incredible strength.[19] When he was alive, he crossed paths with Shuten-douji multiple times. Whether they fought for real, for fun, or for a bet, they always ended in a draw.[12] When Kintoki fought Shuten half a year before 1008 AD, she cut his left arm to shreds and almost tore it right off. Furthermore, Kintoki points out that that was her just "playing around". It was thanks to Abe-no-Seimei that Kintoki's body was put back together.[19]
Combat[]
Even with the support of Tamamo-no-Mae (2 Tails), Kintoki is unable to overpower Nikola Tesla.[4] Artoria Pendragon Lily after training with Mash Kyrielight defeated Sakata Kintoki with Caliburn.[5]
Rashomon[]
During the Rashomon event, Sakata Kintoki and Mash Kyrielight are also a lot stronger than normal due to the Singularity's pseudo Holy Grail granting Kintoki's wish to reunite with Shuten Douji.[9][6] In this event, Ibaraki-douji had greatly enhanced her strength by absorbing most of Shuten-douji's power,[6] to the point where Kintoki believes even if Ritsuka Fujimaru threw all his Servants at her, they would only have a 50/50 chance of victory.[7] Despite Ibaraki having reached the level of a god,[7] Kintoki, who is also overflowing with a lot of extra power,[9] deems her a worthy opponent.[7] Ibaraki also states that wrestling Kintoki is like wrestling a mountain, and that their fight won't stop until one of them is dead.[8] By fighting Ibaraki multiple times over, Mash and Kintoki manage to wear her down bit by bit.[9] Although Ibaraki used Blaze, Sougenbi against them, they were able to block it.[13]
Heian-kyo Alive Version[]
During the Heian-kyō Singularity, Kintoki was alive.[15] Heroic Spirits possess strength and powers beyond what is normally possible for Humans. Furthermore, a single Servant can easily defeat an entire army. Among the human inhabitants of the Singularity, only the Four Heavenly Kings are powerful enough to take down a servant in combat.[18] Shuten-douji states that Kintoki looks even stronger than the last time they met one month prior and that it must be due to all the sumo he has been practising.[19]
Sakata Kintoki states that Charles Babbage's strikes hit really hard and that it's like fighting one of the giant bears from the mountain. However, Kintoki was strong enough to hurl and break Babbage's heavy armor using a sumo technique. Despite undergoing a Saint Graph Ascension, Babbage is eventually defeated by Kintoki.[18]
The first time Kintoki and Katou Danzou fought Ibaraki-douji and Torakuma-douji, Kintoki was holding back as he didn't believe it was right to kill his opponents. Kitoki then battles Paracelsus von Hohenheim and mows down his combat Homunculi with ease.[19] During the events of the Heian-kyō Singularity, Shuten-douji hadn't devoured a single person, which according to Kintoki meant she was holding back as well. Even then, Kintoki states that he can't beat her alone, and asks Ritsuka Fujimaru for support. After the two of them fight Shuten and Paracelsus for a while, Kintoki uses a Fully Powered Thunderbolt to shatter Paracelsus' Spiritual Core, defeating him permanently.[20]
During his first fight with Watanabe-no-Tsuna, Tsuna orders Medea Lily to disable her Dragon Tooth Warriors, as they aren't of any help against Kintoki and they only get in his way. Kintoki was able to take a direct blow from Tsuna's Higekiri without a scratch. It is later stated by Kintoki that Tsuna was holding back during their fight, as he just considered it a sparring match.[15] During their second fight, Kintoki asks Ritsuka Fujimaru for his support since he is "down a Caster". Otherwise, Kintoki doesn't think he could muster anything more than a tie, at best. Rather than killing his opponents, Kintoki decides to fight them only as long as Tsuna's knee doesn't touch the ground. While Tsuna questions if Kintoki will be holding back, Kintoki claims he will be giving it everything he's got. As the two Genji warriors fought in close range combat, Fujimaru took care of many skeletal warriors Medea conjured with his own Shadow Servants. Tsuna is eventually defeated by Kintoki's Golden Lightning. Tsuna regrets misjudging the moment to go in for the kill and states that he should have known better than to challenge Kintoki to a contest of brute strength.[21]
Kintoki was forced to fight Shikigami made artificially immortal by keeping their Spiritual Cores separate from their bodies just like the Heroic Spirit Swordmasters. Although during the Shimosa Subcategory Singularity they needed Miyamoto Musashi's extraordinary technique and Myoujingiri Muramasa to defeat them, Kintoki is able to kill these shikigami thanks to Abe-no-Seimei's talismans and Medea Lily's enhancement Spells. However, Medea Lily states that seeing how he fights, he might have been fine without her spells.[22]
Abe-no-Seimei stated that Sakata Kintoki, Minamoto-no-Raikou, and Watanabe-no-Tsuna wouldn't be able to stop the powerful Hasshoujin Heroic Spirits while holding back.[22] This is confirmed to be true during their fight against Saisetsu Tawara Touta and Hyoubi Suzuka Gozen. The two Servants are able to overwhelm them with Hachiman Prayer and Heavenly Demon Rain while holding back themselves. After Medea Lily heals them and casts enhancement Spells on everyone, they fight them a second time. After fighting for a while, Tsuna and Raikou take advantage of their openings right before releasing their Noble Phantasms' True Names to deal a fatal blow. Kintoki claims that he could have never pulled off that move in such a small opening.[23]
Kintoki defeats Hoshikuma-douji with his golden lightning.[24]
Saikyou Taira-no-Kagekiyo's strength and speed are high enough to make Kintoki go dizzy while fighting her. After Taira undergoes a Saint Graph Ascension, her power is increased to the point not even Kintoki and Shuten-douji working together can overpower her. In fact, Kintoki receives multiple cuts and is poisoned from head to toe. Once Taira summons the Deathmatch Stage, Kintoki and her engage in a furious battle to the death, neither giving an inch. Having gone back to his old self, Kintoki eventually overpowers Taira. When Taira tries to turn the ties in her favor by releasing her Noble Phantasm as a last resort, Kintoki, now powered by one of Ritsuka Fujimaru's Command Spells, finishes her off with his Golden lightning.[25]
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Mad Enhancement (E Rank): Normally does not receive the benefits of Mad Enhancement. In exchange, he retains a normal capacity to think. A Luck Check is performed whenever damage is received, failure results in him going wild and parameters excepting Mana and Luck being raised. On that occasion, his whole body becomes red.[1][2] Anger Gauge Max.[2]
- Divinity (D Rank): Because there is a theory which states that he is the child of Raijin, a thunder deity, Kintoki possesses Divine Spirit aptitude.[1][2] Because his mother was a man-eating mountain witch, the rank is low. It will rarely activate as resistance in regards to the attack of Heroic Spirits that possess thunder deity-lineage roots and legends.[1] Although a normal Servant would have their Spirit Core eaten away by Nikola Tesla's Activated Fog, Kintoki was able to resist it. After a while however, a few cracks started forming in his core.[4]
Personal Skills[]
- Monstrous Strength (A+ Rank): Rank ups his Strength parameter. While originally a Skill possessed by monsters, as Kintoki is the child of Raijin as a Red Dragon and the cannibal Yamauba, he displays a high Rank by carrying the former Skill to the extreme.[2]
- Natural Body (A Rank): Born with a perfect (golden) body as a life form. A plus modiffier is bestowed to his Strength.[1][2] Furthermore, even without training his muscles are brawny and his body shape doesn't change no matter how much calories he intakes.[1]
- Animal Communication (C Rank): Enables mutual understanding with animals that don’t possess language.[1][2] Since it's not like the intellect of the animals improve, very complex nuances are not conveyed. Even then, maybe because Kintoki's mental structure is close to animals, they strangely get into a mutual understanding.[1]
Noble Phantasms[]
Kintoki's main Noble Phantasm is Golden Spark. With the support of Tamamo-no-Mae (2 Tails), Kintoki was able to get rid of Nikola Tesla's fog with this Noble Phantasm.[4]
During the Rahomon event where Kintoki's, Mash Kyrielight's, and Ibaraki-douji's power is well beyond their regular counterparts, Kintoki managed to deal a fatal hit on Ibaraki with Golden Spark after wearing her down during multiple fights with the help of Mash. Ibaraki was confused by this outcome, saying she stands above all Oni, and that Humans should not be able to slay her, even if they are Heroic Spirits. Kintoki says she is being ridiculous, and that she's not above anything. She was still "a child just pretending to be", lacking the guts she needed to the very end. She hadn't eaten Shuten completely.[14]
Kintoki has a second Noble Phantasm named Golden Eater. Masakari axe imbued with the power of Raijin. It has such weight in which it certainly can’t be lifted without Kintoki’s Monstrous Strength. Its destructive power rises through the explosion of its lightning-loaded cartridges. The destructiveness varies depending on the number of cartridges used. The maximum is 15. Sometimes, jamming would occur.
Development[]
Creation and Conception[]
Sakata Kintoki was created by Jin Haganeya and character designed by Raita Honjou for the canceled Fate/Apocrypha online game project, which was not included in the final version. He was collected along with the other thirteen initial Servant designs in Fate/complete material IV Extra material. The project was revived in novel format afterwards, but he was cut, in favor of Frankenstein and Spartacus.
Yuuichirou Higashide said that Kintoki as an enemy, he's a far too nice guy to fight, and as an ally, he's very reliable. Furthermore, one aspect of the plot that was decided near the beginning was that "Frankenstein will use her Noble Phantasm and revive", so Frankenstein had to take up the slot for the ally Berserker, causing Kintoki to be discarded.[26]
Comments from the Illustrator[]
"His design has been done for quiteeee a long time, and we finally got to see Kintoki-san in FateGO. It’s been a long time coming. But it was worth the wait! I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to work with such a charming character. I hope people are able to like the mischievous Kintoki who tends to play pranks and the cool Kintoki when he’s serious. I would be really happy if they do. Someday I want to try drawing Kintoki-san choosing sweets together with neighboring children in a dagashi store as they melt into the downtown night." (Raita Honjou)[2]

Divine Spirit aptitude that comes from origins as a thunder deity's son. Because his mother was a man-eating mountain witch, the rank is low. It will rarely activate as resistance in regards to the attack of Heroic Spirits that possess thunder deity-lineage roots and legends.
Noble Phantasm
- Golden Eater
A huge Masakari axe that carries the power of the thunder deity and cannot be handled without Kintoki's superhuman strength. It is loaded with 15 cartridges with thunder put into them and destructive power is raised with their detonation. Probably there is a different true name, but Kintoki activates it with this name.
- Golden Spark
An Anti-Army Noble Phantasm usage in which a flash of lightning is released from Golden Eater and mows down the surrounding enemies. It activates by using 3 of the 15 loaded cartridges. The fact that is activates with a suspicious true name is just like Golden Eater.
Unreasonably golden.

- 筋力:A+

[] Fate/Apocrypha material - Encyclopedia: Restructuring [Others], p.187-188 [T] Discarded Servants [Other]
The Servants who experienced the bitterness of being discarded in the transition from the proto-version of “Apocrypha” featured in “Complete material IV” to the official light novels.
The one who disappeared first was Sakata Kintoki. As an enemy to the protagonist side, he’s a far too nice guy to fight, and as an ally, he’s very reliable. Furthermore, one aspect of the plot that was decided near the beginning was that “Frankenstein will use her Noble Phantasm and revive”, so Frankenstein had to take up the slot for the ally Berserker, causing Kintoki to be discarded. The next one to be cut was Musashibou Benkei. In his case, I briefly outlined him as a Servant who’s mentality was very complex which made him hard to act as a partner to a Master, but the Master-Servant pairs had already been decided and there was too little room for him to cut in. Most of all, there were three Lancers drafted in the first place, and the remaining two were Vlad III and Karna. The fact that he was a Japanese Servant also played a factor, so he was unfortunately retired from the running.
During this period of the plot creation, the following had already been basically decided: “Romanian stage. Vlad III’s big fame bonus. Central Servants are Jeanne and Astolfo, and the rival Servant is Amakusa Shirou Tokisada.” Therefore, the next one to be retired was Georgius. Since he would be the third saint in the story, he would have to be included in the ideological conflict between Jeanne and Amakusa, but I feared it would become too confusing. Also, considering the final outcome of the story, his value as a character dimmed further since his Noble Phantasm would cause the metamorphosis midway through the story, so he was discarded.
Now then, one of the two planned Riders has been discarded and left an empty Rider slot, so let’s think of possible choices. If possible, it should be someone really famous who wouldn’t be too intertwined with the main plot of the story… With that thinking, the candidate that came to mind was Achilles.
I want one more Servant suitable to act as a rival to Achilles on the opposing team from him. For example, how about his teacher Chiron? But in that case, one of the initially planned Archers would have to be discarded.
At this point, it was already decided that Atalanta would oppose Jeanne, so she had to be in the Red camp like Achilles. The remaining Archer was David. There was no problem with him as an ally character-wise, Vlad III was planned to be made the head of the Black camp. If there were another world-famous king on the same team as him, his relationship with Vlad would become complex… As such, David was the last one to be discarded.
This segment has already become very drawn-out, but, well, I have say to congratulations for them all getting to make a return in “Fate/Grand Order”…リストラ【その他】
