Gian Giacomo CaprottiWP (ジャン・ジャコモ・カプロッティ, Jan Jakomo Kapurotti?), better known as Salaì (サライ?), was an apprentice of Leonardo da Vinci. He appears as wraith in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Background[]
Salaì was taken in by Leonardo da Vinci during his youth, becoming Leonardo's apprentice in 1490 AD in MilanWP. He possessed a fragment of a Holy Grail in life. He died in 1524, five years after Leonardo.[1]
Salaì did not perform any feats that would allow him to be enshrined on the Throne of Heroes as a Heroic Spirit.[1]
Appearance[]
Leonardo describes Salaì as having been a "beautiful kid" with curly hair and "adorable." She states "He may not have quite been at my level, but he was still as lovely as an angel."[1]
Personality[]
Salaì and Leonardo were as close as real family during their time as teacher and student. Leonardo describes Salaì as the "only person I ever knew who would think to pester me like this."[1]
Leonardo describes Salaì as having been a brat who was "easily four times as mischievous as the average person." He frequently stole anything he could from her, including taking her silver brushes and selling her shoes for candy. He broke pots while they ate. Were he to have become a Heroic Spirit, Leonardo thinks he would have been an Anti-Hero due to his bad habits.[1]
Role[]
Fate/Grand Order[]
The fragment of the Holy Grail which Salaì possessed in life becomes the catalyst to turn him into a wraith, creating a Pseudo-Singularity taking place around the time of his death. This singularity and the Servant contract with Ritsuka Fujimaru causes Ritsuka to see dreams of Leonardo through the eyes of Salaì.
