Satsuki Yumizuka (弓塚 さつき^?), also known as "Sacchin" (さっちん^?, her nickname, a contraction of "Satsuki-chan"), is a fellow classmate of Shiki Tohno at Metropolitan Souya High School. She is one of the six heroines of the Tsukihime Remake series.

Satsuki's overall appearance is mundane. She wears a school outfit, consisting of a white shirt with a yellow jumper over it, a cute red bow-tie, and a grey miniskirt, along with shoes and socks.

Arcueid Route

Similarly to Arcueid's original route, Satsuki doesn't come to school the next days and is presumed to have disappeared. Presumably, she was one of Vlov Arkhangel's victims.

Ciel Route

Unlike in the original Near-Side routes and Arcueid's remake route, Satsuki appears for several days into Ciel's remake route, implying that she managed to avoid being attacked somehow and is still a normal human in that particular route, with the explanation that her father kept her home from school, further complicating matters.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina

Satsuki is non-playable cameo in two occasions:

• In Noel's arcade ending, Noel sees Satsuki entering an alleyway late at night and decides to follow her.
• Satsuki only appears in a special guest artwork involving a poolside vacation alongside Shiki, Arcueid, Kohaku, Hisui, Ciel and Akiha, including Miyako, Noel and a displaced Artoria Pendragon.

Development

The long since-scrapped Satsuki route that was originally excluded due to time and design constraints is slated to be in Tsukihime -The other side of red garden- along with the Far-Side routes.

Creation and conception

Takashi Takeuchi says that he intended to make her a character without a particularly charming face or silhouette, but with a cute vibe to her. While she doesn’t appear much in A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, her little moments increase her heroine levels.
