Arou Myourenji (妙蓮寺鴉郎, Myōrenji Arō?), using the pseudonym Scandinavia Peperoncino (スカンジナビア・ペペロンチーノ, Sukanjinabia Peperonchīno?), is one of the seven Crypters, Masters attempting to supplant the Proper Human History with that of the Lostbelt in Fate/Grand Order: Cosmos in the Lostbelt. He is the Master of Archer Ashwatthama. He was formerly one of forty eight Chaldea Master Candidates and a member of A-Team.
Profile[]
Background[]
Arou Myourenji was a Japanese magus who practiced Shugendō; more specifically, tengu arts. It was a school of Shugendō that took corrupting into a tengu and finding one's way to hell as a premise. Myourenji practitioners gain an abhijna after 100 years of training. Learning one out of the six abhijna is enough to make you a tengu, but Arou had learned three: Shinsokutsuu, Tashintsuu, and Roshintsuu. Everyone found Arou really talented and praised him extravagantly, but he just wanted to be himself. Eventually, that got him expelled.
For one generation, the Myourenji was a lineage of Houjutsu practitioners; the Japanese equivalent to Fangshi. When their founder fell into the tengu ways, he connected a Path to the Maouson on Mount KuramaWP. The problem was that it connected only to the founder, and so his descendants all had to go through a long training to eventually make their bodies superhuman without the Maouson's power. After some mad effort, one man made a special body with special circuits, only to die without passing it on to anyone. Arou was directly descended from the founder, so was born and raised on the mountain, but all the other Myourenji children were kidnapped from the lands below. Kidnapping children to be their foster parents might have been okay long ago, back when death by childbirth was a common occurrence, but the Myourenji would abandon the children who couldn't keep up with the training. And if they could keep up, they'd be guaranteed to fall to hell. No one's gaining anything from meddling with others' fates just to corrupt them into tengus. Those people were wasting their lives. That was why Arou killed all of them before he climbed down the mountain.
Since he no longer had any connection to his family, after sorting everything out, he left Japan.[2]
Changing his name to Scandinavia Peperoncino and becoming a freelancer, he was recruited to Chaldea after Marisbury Animusphere met Scandinavia during his travels, Marisbury wanting to recruit a magus specialized in fighting. Scandinavia joined Chaldea Security Organization by Marisbury's recommendation and became one of the forty-eight Chaldea Master Candidates and a member of A-Team. He planned to summon an Archer-class Servant.[3] Scandinavia managed to hide his real name, race, and age from others, but it was assumed he was the oldest among Chaldea's A-Team.[1]
Appearance[]
He is the oldest in the A-Team.[1] He looks Italian.[3]
Personality[]
Nicknamed Pepe (ペペ?) by his friends, he is a mood-maker that calmly eases up the tense Crypters during their meetings. Possessing a feminine-like character, the person himself also enjoys exhibiting it. His motto is to do things smoothly, with fun and friendliness. He uses feminine pronouns to refer to himself.
Leonardo da Vinci describes him to be friendly and casual, and he would always lighten the mood of A-Team with his jokes. Mash Kyrielight mention him to be a good listener, especially when the silent Hinako Akuta would close her book when Scandinavia was around.[3]
He is knowledgeable about Buddhism and Indian myth. "I like mythologies about repeated cycles of destruction", he said.[3]
Although an optimistic and easy-going character, Beryl describes him as someone who one should not get mad.[4] He can be a bit grudgeful, showing that he is unable to forget the events in the Indian Lostbelt and wanting to punish Douman for messing with the peaceful Lostbelt he was in charge of.[5] He greatly values those he sees as his friends and allies and during his time in Chaldea, grew genuinely close to his teammates and considering them his genuine friends. Possessing such strong sense of friendship and loyalty, he would go to extreme lengths to get back at those who mess with them, swearing vengeance against his former comrade Beryl for betraying and killing Kirschtaria.[6]
Role[]
Fate/Grand Order[]
Olga Marie Animusphere orders A-Team to participate "Singularity Point F".[7] With Lev Lainur betrayal, Scandinavia was amongst the casualties to be put into cryofreeze in their coffins.[8]
After becoming a Crypter, Peperoncino summoned Ashwatthama to be his Servant. After being assigned the Indian Lostbelt, he contacted its king, God Arjuna, and spent the first few months trying to control him. But God Arjuna changed for the worse after Ashiya Douman convinced him to speed up the yuga cycles. He then proceeded to steal Peperoncino's contract with Ashwatthama and summoned Nezha, William Tell, and Asclepius to be his Lokapala.[9]
Cosmos in the Lostbelt[]
Prologue[]
After the arrival of Goredolf Musik, Koyanskaya and Kirei Kotomine. Thirty-nine Chaldea Masters were resuscitated and evacuated, only the A-Team were believed to be still frozen in their Coffin.[3] On 27 December 2017, somebody had unfrozen and woke A-Team from their respective coffin and placed a fake signal.[10]
Goredolf orders Da Vinci to open A-Team's coffin, only to find them missing.[10]
Anastasia: Permafrost Empire[]
In the Crypters' meeting, Peperoncino is seen concerned about Kadoc's gloominess, so he tries to cheer him up and encouraging him to show his strength and determination. When Wodime reveals that Chaldea is emerging from the Imaginary Number Space, Peperoncino doubts Wodime's choice of letting Koyanskaya lead the suppresion of Chaldea, saying his Servants could destroy the base without leaving any survivors, to which Wodime disagrees. Later, he asks Daybit's opinion about the "cube" present in his own Lostbelt, to which the latter replies that "cube" is a weak point that he or Wodime would eliminate with haste. Peperoncino finally cuts the transmission, not before saying that he will continue to observe the situation, though he would feel like cutting said weak point.[4]
Götterdämmerung: Eternal Icy Fire Century[]
Kirschtaria mentions Peperoncino being aided by an Alter Ego.[11]
Peperoncino calls Ophelia Phamrsolone, expressing concern for her. Ophelia denies that anything’s wrong, though she appreciates Peperoncino calling her. Peperoncino knows the Fantasy Tree is already sprouting seeds, though Ophelia regrets the Seeds withered away. But Peperoncino calls the fact the Tree is sprouting seeds proof of its growth and Ophelia’s positive relationship with the Lostbelt King, He then tells Ophelia to apply a little makeup, knowing she wishes to look her best for Kirschtaria, which Ophelia admits to. Peperoncino confesses he's been trying to get contact Kadoc, though Kadoc seems to be refusing to answer his calls. But given the fact that Chaldea arrived in Russia, he can deduce what happened.[12]
SIN: Synchronized Intellect Nation[]
During a meeting between the Crypters, he is shown trying to calm the dispute between Koyanskaya and Hinako. When they realize the next place Chaldea went to, Scandinavia states they went into a problematic place, suggesting that everyone continue their business in their Lostbelts as usual, although Beryl disagrees. At the end, he asks Daybit and Wodime their feelings about Ophelia's demise. Acknowledging Wodime's silence, he decides to be the one preparing her a proper funeral in his place before leaving.[13]
Yuga Kshetra: Samsara of Genesis and Terminus[]
Pursued by Nezha on God Arjuna's orders, Peperoncino hides from her in the mountains when Ritsuka's party finds him. He leaves without their notice when Nezha lands after killing Chaldea's Nezha. Upon noticing Peperoncino, Nezha stops fighting the group to chase him.[14]
By the time the Kali Yuga comes, Peperoncino has lost Nezha. He arrives in Bichu and stops Ritsuka's party from fighting God Arjuna, calling him an amalgamation of the Hindu gods. He offers to help the group and convinces them he isn't God Arjuna's ally. But Ashwatthama arrives to stop their escape. The group fights him while Peperoncino avoids his attacks with high-speed movements. Karna hits him with Vasavi Shakti, and the group escapes without finishing him off. Peperoncino warns them that God Arjuna has been preparing to destroy everything in the Lostbelt and then remake it. The group realizes diving into the Imaginary Numbers Space is their only option to avoid the restart. They reach the Border when God Arjuna initiates the restart. Karna exits and uses Kavacha and Kundala to protect the Border from God Arjuna’s Mahāpralaya. The Border then dives into the Imaginary Number Space.[15]
Peperoncino explains how God Arjuna became his current self. He also explains the circumstance by which God Arjuna stole his contract with Ashwatthama and summoned other Servants. After the Border resurfaces, Ritsuka, Mash, Rama, Ganesha, and Peperoncino exit to investigate.[9]
Because of his knowledge of and past experiences with the reset, Peperoncino shows contempt for the now pristine environment. He changes the subject to his skincare when Mash notices his face before the group proceeds to Bichu.[16]
The town looks relatively pristine, and some are kinder because the current Yuga is the Krita Yuga, the Yuga of Happiness. The group meets Ajay and Asha, but she doesn't remember Vihan. Afterward, they leave town to discuss the distorted Yuga cycle.[16]
Peperoncino reveals God Arjuna removes what he deems as failures and unnecessary between each cycle in pursuit of a perfect world without evil. After Mash questions where Asha's affections for the now erased Vihan go, Peperoncino is amazed to hear the girl who used to be nothing but a living doll expounding on love. He finds it so precious he could cry, though he wonders what Beryl would think of the new Mash. Then he explains the Crypters had no choice but to join the Alien God if they wanted to live. He also reveals Crypter is a designation given by Marisbury Animusphere for Masters of A-Team.[16]
Later, the group learns of a village rebelling against God Arjuna and fighting against the Kali.[16]
That evening, Peperoncino asks Mash if she got a chance to speak with Ophelia. Mash confirms she did before Ophelia passed away. Peperoncino is glad to hear that since Ophelia always wanted a heart-to-heart moment with Mash. After Mash explains what happened with Kadoc, Ophelia, and Hinako, Peperoncino finds they fought bravely. He finds himself pathetic for doing whatever he can to survive.[16]
The next day, the group reaches a walled village, Dewar, which they suspect to be home to the Resistance. They try to enter when the Resistance leader, Lakshmibai, suspects them of being Lokapala. She fights them when Holy Beasts suddenly attack. Seeing them slay the Holy Beasts, Lakshmibai realizes the group isn't Lokapala. Despite the risk of being deemed flawed, Lakshmibai joins the group. She then leads them to the location of God's Skyboulder.[17]
Along the way, Peperoncino recounts how he considered removing the Cube if it was detrimental. The group soon reaches the Cube, but the abnormal number of Kali there forces them to retreat.[18]
Later, Dewar is attacked by Nezha. Peperoncino is surprised to see Mash express anger after she vented about how unjust it is for God Arjuna to be the sole arbiter of what is worthy. While he is glad to see her express such emotion, he is nervous about what she'll gain once her innocence, her greatest source of strength, is gone. During the ensuing fight though, Nezha decides to overload herself by rapidly using her Noble Phantasms because she couldn't stand having Kubera (who's considered the same as her father) exist inside her any longer. She then explains which territories each Lokapala is charged with, with exception of Ashwatthama who's on an independent mission. After Nezha disappears, it is deduced killing the Lokapala, thereby freeing the divinities inside, will return Servants like Rama to their original strength and reduce God Arjuna's power. The group agrees to target Asclepius first. Lakshmibai recalls a town in the southwest that she suspects Asclepius will appear at.[19]
That evening, Peperoncino tells Mash to stop trying to sympathize with the Crypters just because they all used to be on the same team. Including himself, there isn't a good person amongst the Crypters, especially since they betrayed humanity to the Alien God for their own survival. He tells Mash to feel bad for what happened to them as it was always going to happen.[20]
The group arrives at a village, where a doctor came and stopped an epidemic from spreading. They suspect it’s Asclepius when he appears and denies it. He summons the undead using Yama's power. The group fights the undead, but they’re constantly restored. Suddenly, God Arjuna appears and defeats the group. He then leaves, and Asclepius prepares to finish them off. However, Daybit suddenly appears and his Grand Servant destroys Asclepius' undead. Daybit addresses Peperoncino by his real name after assessing he hasn't betrayed the Crypters. He advises him on how to defeat God Arjuna by saying to take away something from someone who has everything. After he leaves, the group recovers and forces Asclepius to retreat. They then leave the village out of concern they’ll be considered outcasts after God Arjuna defeated them.[20]
On their way to Dewar, Peperoncino confesses his real name and how he was invited to Chaldea. He then tells the others that God Arjuna’s power will decrease if people stop revering him as a god. The group also realize Lakshmibai’s Resistance could be used as a starting point for this goal. Peperoncino suggests they incite rebellion in the other villages. Unfortunately, the group reaches Dewar to find it besieged by Holy Beasts. After killing them, they move the survivors to Bichu.[21]
The next morning, Bichu’s citizens and Dewar’s survivors argue about the latter slaying Holy Beasts. The town is then attacked by the Kali, which the group fight joined by the survivors and later the Bichu citizens. Aided by Vayu's power, William snipes the Kali from far outside the village, but the Holy Beasts continue attacking. After all the Kali are dead, William changes his target to Ritsuka's party. The group enters a horse carriage, with Lakshmibai serving as the driver. Though shot several times, she gets the others to William.[21]
After forcing him to retreat, the group return to Bichu. Lakshmibai agrees to teach Bichu's citizens how to fight.[21] The Kali Yuga eventually begins, and the group prepares to leave Bichu with the villagers now trained in combat. But they’re forced to fight a large amalgamated Kali instead. While they’re fighting, holy beasts and Asclepius arrive. Asclepius uses his newly granted Varuna divinity to strengthen the holy beasts. The group defeats him and the holy beasts when Asclepius notices his body breaking down. Peperoncino suspects God Arjuna gave him another divinity, knowing he’d self-destruct. Rama kills Asclepius. William then arrives, forcing the group into another fight. They struggle against him thanks to him using Vayu’s power to change his arrows’ trajectory. As the fight continues, Asha picks up a crossbow and aims it toward William. William aims his crossbow but notices himself unable to fire. Ganesha tries to get him to remember his son, but God Arjuna erased those memories.[22]
As William struggles mentally, Rama deals a fatal blow. He tries to finish him off when Ashwatthama arrives. William gets up and shoots Ashwatthama as he remembers he was made to forget something. The group uses this opportunity to retreat. Ashwatthama chases after them when he suddenly collapses from William’s arrows. God Arjuna then arrives and begins preparing Mahāpralaya. The group runs towards the Border to dive into the Imaginary Number Space. The Border crew picks up Koyanskaya after noticing her trying to hitchhike.[23]
Inside the Border, Peperoncino denies Vitch's accusation of having betrayed the Crypters. He admits he doesn't trust her and the other Alter Egos, which is why he decided to help Chaldea to gain some insight on a different perspective. He suspects that the goals of the Crypters and the Apostles of the Alien God don't align, especially since Douman has been pushing God Arjuna to unwittingly turn the Lostbelt into a world of nothingness. As that risks losing the Lostbelt and Fantasy Tree forever, Peperoncino questions why neither Vitch nor Douman has done anything to stop it. Vitch explains her goal is separate from those of the other Alter Egos and the Crypters. Her business contract with the Alien God forbids her from divulging anything about the Alter Ego. However, despite their own separate goals, they all seek to nurture the Fantasy Trees. After having his hypothesis confirmed, Peperoncino wonders how much Kirschtaria knows about Alien God's identity and objectives. The group agrees to allow Vitch to accompany them. The Yuga Cycle resets, and the group head for Bichu.[24]
There, they discover Ajay, and the people of Dewar were erased. Lakshmibai confesses the goddess inside her isn't Lakshmi but Alakshmi. After Rama convinces Lakshmibai to continue helping, Vitch guides the group to Ashwatthama’s location.[24]
By the first day of the second Yuga, the group finds Ashwatthama in the mountains. They fight when they discover he has Krishna’s curse after noticing how painful regenerating is for him. Peperoncino realizes God Arjuna placed the curse on Ashwatthama after stealing his contract with him. Ashwatthama confesses in his rage that he followed God Arjuna’s commands to escape from his eternal suffering. With his rage further increasing his power, he fights the group again. Rama then transfers his curse to himself since he and Krishna are both avatars of Vishnu.[25]
Joined by Ashwatthama, the group leave the mountains. He suggests they deny the Yuga to weaken God Arjuna by surviving and rejecting his Noble Phantasm. Ganesha and Lakshmibai decide to use their Noble Phantasms to help achieve this. Ashwatthama decides to send them into the past, which he can do thanks to God Arjuna’s constant resting damaging space-time. He will send them to the beginning of God Arjuna's rule, from which they will have to become an ever-present element. If they can do that, it will prove God Arjuna’s imperfection and weaken him in the present. Holy beasts then start approaching, so Lakshmibai uses Alakshmi's power to call upon the Kali to distract them. As the others fend off the holy beasts, Lakshmibai and Ganesha activate Nahi Doongi and Ganesha Vighneshvara. They then enter the rift opened by Ashwattham’s Mahakala Shakti. The monsters soon overwhelm the group when the Border arrives. The group board it, and Goredolf uses evasive maneuvers to retreat from the monsters.[26]
Time advances to the last day of the Kali Yuga. Goredolf maneuvers the Border to evade the Vimana’s shooting. They soon arrive at God’s Skyboulder and realize Lakshmibai and Ganesha’s Noble Phantasms created it. After breaking through the Kali protecting it, Ritsuka touches it to free Lakshmibai and Ganesha. Ashwatthama begins to disappear due to using his Noble Phantasm and God Arjuna severing their contract. He apologizes to Peperoncino for failing to be Servant, saying his former Master has every right to be angry, But Peperoncino can't be angry because he knows it isn't Ashwatthama's fault and he can't live in anger. Ashwattahama realizes Peperoncino's resignation affects everything he does and why he hates human society for not helping outcasts like him. He isn't disappointed though and hopes they'll be Master and Servant again. Peperoncino thanks Ashwatthama for giving him something to look forward to. After Ashwattahama disappears, Karna returns from God Arjuna's "trash dump" thanks to Ashwatthama relinquishing his own body and Spirit Core to him there earlier.[27]
Through Ashwatthama’s Spirit Core, Karna knows almost everything that has transpired since his absence. Seeing him, God Arjuna descends to face Karna as the end of the final yuga approaches. Douman also arrives, and Vitch leaves. God Arjuna and Douman retreat following a battle with Ritsuka’s party and Karna filling God Arjuna with doubt.[28]
Reaching landfall, Ritsuka’s party arrives at Spiral. Rama gives Karna his Brahmastra to grant him Vishnu's power. Taking Shiva and Vishnu's powers as his own, Karna's Saint Graph transforms. God Arjuna and Douman then appear. Douman has Spiral fully activate; Peperoncino is shocked by its change in color. God Arjuna absorbs some of its power for his fight with Karna.[28]
After God Arjuna disappears, Peperoncino regrets they had become enemies, believing they could've made the Lostbelt something special if it wasn't for Douman. Then upon seeing the Alien Priestess, he decides to protect Spiral. Confronting the others, he reveals the Crypters joined the Alien God willingly. He admonishes Chaldea for trying to destroy the Lostbelt, which was pruned for being too simple and peaceful, even though the Proper History is crueler and more unforgiving than any Lostbelt. While he agrees with his words, Sherlock Holmes states any history calling itself the Proper History should aspire to overcome all manners of hell. Peperoncino expected Sherlock would say that and asks Karna if he's ready, as he knows his time is up. To the shock of his allies, Karna declares he will betray them. He returns Brahmastra to Rama after getting him to realize Krishna’s curse disappeared with God Arjuna. Now back to his original state, Karna confesses he spent all his magical energy in his fight with God Arjuna. Only through sheer force of will does he remain. He then joins Peperoncino and allows a fully revitalized and ascended Ashwatthma to retake his Saint Graph. Now rejoined as Master and Servant, Peperoncino and Ashwatthma fight the others.[28]
After they're defeated and Spiral is destroyed, Peperoncino considers using the Sirius Light, but Ashwatthama tells him not to. Seeing Ashwatthama start to disappear, Peperoncino regrets their teamwork wasn't good enough. He wonders if things would've been better if they kept their contract the whole time. Ashwatthama believes they were a good match and apologizes for not winning their last battle. Peperoncino doesn't mind though since he's alive. He and Ashwatthama then say their goodbyes before the latter disappears. Afterwards, Douman appears, having intended to help defend Spiral, but Asclepius (resurrected through delayed Emulated Medicine) delayed him. After Douman’s shikigami crumbles away, Peperoncino deduces there is more to the Apostles' goals since Douman advanced the Lostbelt's destruction. He then calls Vitch to transport him to the Atlantic Lostbelt. He tells Ritsuka and Mash that he sincerely enjoyed their time together, but he cannot betray the Crypters. He suggests they resign themselves to the world's unfairness as he did at birth and bids them farewell before he is transported.[28]
Atlantis: Ancient Ocean of the Dreadnought Gods[]
Olympus: Interstellar Mountainous City[]
During the events of the Atlantic Lostbelt, Scandinavia was shown to have mainly resided within Olympus together with his fellow Crypters; Kadoc Zemlupus,Beryl Gut and Kirschtaria Wodime as Kirchtaria and the other Olympian Gods began making their plans to counteract Chaldea.
Eventually Scandanavia would talk with Aphrodite during their free time together were he would tell her about the various events, myths and legends from the Proper Human History in order to entertain the goddess; with Aphrodite in particular being interested on the actions done by her Proper History Counterpart; such as the actions done by her during the Fall of Troy. Aphrodite in particular would pout to Scandaniva about how he lost control of the Indian Lostbelt and of how disappointed she was that she could no longer conquer the fallen Lostbelt through war; causing Scandanavia to apologize and appease the goddess by simply stating that he simply wasn't talented enough.
Scandinavia appears before the Chaldeans and the God Destroyer Alliance, saying that he, like Kadoc, has been working with the Collaborator and Kadoc sent him to bring them to the Article. He takes them to the Grand Workshop, where they meet Prometheus-Hephaestus, Senji Muramasa, and Europa. Afterwards, he departs to ensure the people of Olympus do not begin to wander where he disappeared to.
After Douman's assault on the Grand Workshop, Scandinavia reports the deaths of the Dioscuri and Prometheus-Hephaestus to Kirschtaria and asks him about his future plans regarding Chaldea and Zeus. He is surprised to learn Zeus wants a rematch with Kirschtaria, saying it's more human than he would have expected.
As Europa's trial is ongoing, Scandinavia cautions Kadoc against outright discussing their cooperation with Europa, as Zeus would kill them if he overheard. He also points out that Europa wants them both to live and hasn't given up herself. While Kadoc goes to confess to Kirschtaria, Scandinavia goes to take revenge against Douman.
Scandinavia appears as Douman is battling Chaldea, destroying both Douman's current shikigami and his ability to make more as revenge for his actions in the Indian Lostbelt. With his magical energy exhausted, he leaves Chaldea with the knowledge that Ritsuka and Kirschtaria are alike in both combat ability and personality.
Avalon le Fae: Fae Round Table Domain[]
Pepe arrives to the English Lostbelt under the pseudonym Count Peperon (ペペロン伯爵?), a charismatic fashion designer. He has arrived seeking Beryl, saying that as a member of Team A he has a responsibility to clean up his mess. However, despite the revelation in Olympus that Kirschtaria was never loyal to the Alien God and had planned to overthrow her, Pepe says he will still be Chaldea's enemy once this is sorted out.[29]
He is mortally wounded by Beryl, but uses the last of his strength to place a curse upon Beryl which will kill him. As he dies, he reassures Ritsuka that he valued their time together and asks that they continue to look after Mash for him.[30]
Abilities[]
Peperoncino is a Magus that specializes in fighting that was recruited by Marisbury Animusphere for his combat power. Among the members of the A-team, Peperoncino, Kirschtaria Wodime and Daybit Sem Void are ranked the highest in terms of fighting power and are considered more or less equal to each other so compatibility would decide the victor if they were to fight each other. In a simple duel to the death, Peperoncino would win, a frontal "war" would result in Kirschtaria's victory, and regardless of situation the one to ultimately win would be Daybit due to his unpredictability. While Beryl is the main fighter of the A-team and is more accustomed to killing than the rest, Peperoncino outclasses him in combat power and as a killer and would win in a head to head fight.[31][32] Due to his Shugendō training, Peperoncino possesses a superhuman body, allowing him to kill Holy Beasts and humans with his barehands.[26]
Magecraft[]
Peperoncino is a genius practitioner of Shugendō, a unique Japanese Magecraft that combines Buddhism and mountain worship based religion.[20] More specifically the school of Shugendō that Peperoncino's family, the Myourenji uses is Tengu Arts and uses the premise of arriving at hell by corrupting into a tengu by acquiring one of the Rokujintsū (六神通?), one of the Six Supernormal powers of buddhismWP, divine powers that can be learned as techniques. Normally a Shugendō practitioner of the Myourenji family would acquire an jintsūriki after 100 years of training to superhumanize their bodies, but Peperoncino acquired 3 of them by the time he was 10 years old. As such Peperoncino was considered the family's greatest genius since the founder of the Myourenji.[33][30] The jintsūriki that Peperoncino has acquired is:
- Jinsokutsū (神足通, Iddhi-vidha?, the Knowledge of the Unimpeded Bodily Function), the power of unimpeded movement, allows Peperoncino to run and move at superhuman speed.[20][34] This power allowed him to dodge Ashwatthaman's attacks.[15] Musashi states that the speed at which he moves is beyond other human practitioners of Jinsokutsū.[35] When used in conjunction with Tashintsū, he was able to kill the Holy Beasts of Arjuna Alter by piercing their vital organs with his barehands.[26]
- Tashintsū (他心通, Ceto-pariya-nanathe?, Knowledge of the Mind of Others), the power to read minds, in Peperoncino's case he reads the intentions of human and non-human beings through the colors of their auras.[20][34]
- Rōjintsū (漏尽通, Asavakkhaya-nana?, the Knowledge of the Destruction of Defilements), the ability to be aware of their own destiny and lifespan, not disimilar to enlightenment in buddhism.[20][34] In the Atlantic Lostbelt, he used this power in conjunction with Tashintsū to craft a spell called Namushinpen Great Boddhisatva: Rojin-Tashintsu. Rōjintsū is a power that ends the user's own reincarnation, and through the use of Tashintsū (the power to read the mind of others), Peperoncino applied it directly on Ashiya Douman in order to render him mortal, as he used a method of "false reincarnation" to prolonging his life by spreading it out over countless shikigami.[36]
Additionally, Scandinavia like the other members of the A-Team was granted a special set of Command Spells called the Sirius Light, a kind of power able to "overturn the world" according to Marisbury itself. That was originally meant to be used by him to successfully complete Grand Orders. But upon him being revived by the Alien God and given his own Lostbelt to Oversee, the Sirius Light now likely grants him a degree of power and authority over the Lostbelts.

TYPE-MOON Ace Volume 14 Nasu interview Question: Speaking of which, the “clingy princess” Beryl mentioned in one of their Crypter meetings was Baobhan Sith, right? This was a widely discussed topic among fans on the internet…
Nasu: He was referring to Baobhan Sith for sure. The things Beryl said in that Crypter meeting were a pack of lies. The man’s a bad wolf. He laces and embellishes his lies with the truth, all the while hiding the important details. While it was true that Baobhan Sith followed him around, he deliberately phrased it in a way that would give others the wrong idea.
His job is to kill the other Crypters should the situation call for it, so he would never just tell them the truth. To put it another way, Beryl is looking down on the other six. If it ever comes down to a fight, he thinks he’d win. He may be ranked fourth in terms of combat prowess, but he’s more accustomed to killing than anyone. …That being said, Pepe actually outclasses him even when it comes to “killing”, something he never realized even in his final moments. - ↑
TYPE-MOON Ace Volume 14 Nasu interview Question: So does that make Peperoncino second to none in terms of combat prowess??
Nasu: Pepe would win in a simple 1v1 match to death, but Kirschtaria would be the one to emerge victorious in a frontal “war”. And regardless of the situation, the one to ultimately win would be Daybit due to his unpredictability. These three are more or less evenly matched, so winning boils down to compatibility. Assuming the two belong to the same category of strength, you could say Pepe is backward compatible with Beryl.
So we already know who would win if Beryl and Pepe were to clash head-on.
Nasu: That’s right. Beryl thinks he could kill Pepe in an instant if he wanted to, hence his arrogance. Meanwhile, Pepe, sensing what’s on Beryl’s mind, would just shrug it off like the adult he is. “Sure, if that’s what you think. You do you.” - ↑ Fate/Grand Order: Cosmos in the Lostbelt - Fae Round Table Domain: Avalon Le Fae - The Moment a Planet is Born - Section 9: Norwich
