Sialim Eltnam Re-Atlasia (シアリム・エルトナム・レイアトラシア, Shiarimu Erutonamu Reiatorasia?)[Notes 1] is the last alchemist of the Atlas Temple in the world of Fate/EX series, and possibly the final director of Atlas in Tsukihime Worlds. She is the younger twin sister of Sion Eltnam Atlasia.
Profile[]
Background[]
Sialim had a twin elder sister who died at birth in the Fate/EX timeline. As an Atlasian alchemist she was devoted only to her own research, her goal is to avoid the future of destruction. Essentially, this means that it's okay for humanity to change or decline as a species if it means surviving.
In the Tsukihime/Melty Blood timeline, she created the homunculus known as Rani VIII in order to help fill in the gaps that were left by the numerous Atlas scientists that have died in her pursuit of a safe future.
In the Fate/EX timeline, she instead created Rani VIII with the intention to see if it was possible for not just alchemists but for humanity to continue existing in the cyber world, which would mean having to give up their physical bodies. After sending Rani to the moon, she succumbed to a terminal disease and passed away in a month.[2] She gave Rani two orders: to judge whether the Moon Cell was useful or not and to look for someone who could make Rani understand what her emotions were.
Appearance[]
Sialim has the same purple hair as her older sister, although it is more reminiscent of the version from Melty Blood. She wears an Atlas Academy uniform similar to that worn by the version of her sister from Fate/Grand Order, although with a different color palette. She also dons a monocle and a graduation cap.
Personality[]
Sialim is similar personality-wise to her sister's Melty Blood counterpart, mostly in how cold she is. As a scientist of Atlas she is only really concerned with avoiding the future of destruction, no matter what is done to obtain it. One manifestation of that side of her, she also left Rani with the cold order of incinerating the Moon Cell along with herself if it proved to be a monster that couldn't be controlled.[2]

Rani's teacher. The last alchemist and the one who created Rani. After sending Rani to the moon, she succumbed to disease.
As an Atlasian alchemist she was devoted only to her own research, but in the end as a human being, she made Rani and fell into eternal slumber.
Why she ordered Rani to go to the moon was to see whether it was possible for not just alchemists but for humanity to continue existing in the cyber world, which would mean having to give up their physical bodies.
Unlike other magi, the Atlasian alchemists do not have the objective of evolving into a higher state of existence. The top priority of Atlas is to avoid the future of destruction. Essentially, this means that it's okay for humanity to change or decline as a species if it means surviving, and she stuck to that thinking.
As one manifestation of that side of her, she also left Rani with the cold order of incinerating the Moon Cell along with herself if it proved to be a monster that couldn't be controlled.
In EXTRA, Rani might have referred to her as a “teacher”, but, sorry, just forget that happened.
Also, there might have been something about Sialim having a twin elder sister who died at birth.
