Profile[]
Identity[]
Nero Draco (ネロ・ドラコー?) is the juvenile form of Beast VI/S, reincarnated as an Alter Ego. While Beast Ⅵ has no particular desire to bloom a second time, she has remained behind in order to witness with her own eyes the fate of the humans who overthrew her (whether it be ruin, or glory). It appears as though she has a strong sense of responsibility.[1]
One of the two horns of Beast VI. A Beast once defeated by a Chaldea in a parallel world. Born from Depravity, it is said to manifest when the most prosperous city of an era reaches its zenith, so that it may savor its malignancy. It is the Beast from the New Testament that is said to have destroyed Babylon.[2]
Known as the "Beast of 666" and the "Enemy of God", it is said that she is the Beast that a certain Roman Emperor became. She is born from a "what-if" where Nero did not meet her end alone after witnessing that thrice setting sun.[2]
Although both are identical in appearance and abilities, the Beast of Draco in Fate/Grand Order and the Alter Ego of Draco in Arcade are two separate entities.[1]
Appearance[]
In Fate/Grand Order Arcade, Draco bears the appearance of a younger Nero, corrupted with red eyes and draconic features. She wears three crowns on her head and shoulders and a few strips of fabric that barely qualify as clothing, and carries a golden, jewel-encrusted Holy Grail full of a vile black substance. In Fate/Grand Order this form, named Heliocentric Form (地動説体?)[2], is used for her second Ascension. Her first Ascension instead has her in a red dress with a large bow on the back, a normal-sized draconic right arm, and a white evening glove. Her third and Final Ascensions have an adult appearance, named "Geocentric Form."[2]

Personality[]
In her Heliocentric Form, Draco is a ruthless queen. Constantly in ill humour. While she remains a tyrant, she does not violate rules, and there will never come a time when she breaches her contract. She takes herself extremely seriously.[1][4]
When she was a Beast, she savoured the depravity of humanity with a sneering grin, laughing with satisfaction on occasion, but the Alter Ego known as Sodom's Beast/Draco has less clear feelings about said depravity, and no longer laughs in satisfaction.[1][4]
Even though she's the juvenile form of Beast Ⅵ, which scatters depravity, she hates corruption, loathes slothfulness, despises futility (she detests pointless resistance, so she ultimately hates battle), and is an enemy to passion. (It's less that she hates these things, and more akin to being their enemy)[1][4]
Although she'll never allow it to come to the surface, her inner desires make her long for the appearance of "a human who can shake off temptation, and become a small yet sure beacon of enlightened brilliance".[1][4]
She's the ultimate cool-heart tsundere, but she'll never show her dere side.[4]

Spiraling Testament World: Lilim Harlot[]
After Beast VI/S's defeat in the Convergent Singularity of the Arcade timeline and Muramasa severing the connection of Karma the Singularity had to the world,[5] the Bestia Coccinea bring in Ritsuka Fujimaru from the mobile game timeline to contract with her and help her regain her powers as a Beast. Due to being contracted with a Beast, Servants fighting her begin to target Fujimaru as a threat. They must travel through different layers based on the Imitation Singularities from Arcade to defeat and reabsorb Beast VI/S's Demonic Beasts, as well as defeating a Floor Guardian on each layer.
The truth is that this was all set up by Draco because deep down Nero wants to die. The Servants were not summoned by the Counter Force, but instead by Draco to kill her. The Bestia Coccinea disagreed with this plan and forcefully contracted Fujimaru to Draco to keep her alive, planning to steal the seat of Beast VI/S to ensure their continuation.[6] But in reality, they only believed they forced the contract, with the actual contract having come from Hakuno Kishinami in the hopes that Fujimaru would save Draco from herself.
Despite resigning herself to her fate, Draco still wanted to live, and Fujimaru brings her desire out with a Command Spell. Draco manifests in a new form, an impossible Nero that survived past the thrice-setting sun, and defeats and reintegrates with the rebelling Bestia Coccinea while retaining her nature as Beast VI/S. In light of this miracle, Draco has been given a unique existence: a fully-matured Evil of Humanity that now has a desire to walk among humanity, recognizing that a Beast's evil is a form of love.
With her status as a Beast restored, Draco uses her full-strength Independent Manifestation to sever her contract with Fujimaru and sends them back to their timeline. Now free to walk her own path, Draco ponders what her next tale will be about.[7] Returned to Chaldea safely, Fujimaru is beset with questions by a curious Nero Claudius, who eagerly wants to hear the story of her other self.[8]
Abilities[]
Draco can be summoned as either an Alter-Ego (Fate/Grand Order Arcade) or as a Beast (Fate/Grand Order), but her skills remain the same regardless of Class. Although both are identical, the Beast of Draco in Fate/Grand Order and the Alter Ego of Draco in Arcade are two separate entities.[1] In her Heliocentric Form, her draconic aspects are shown her main method of attack, using her arm, legs, and tail to slash, swipe, and smash down at her opponents with earth shattering force, shown to even change size or shape, her arm growing or flexing during different attacks, and even impaling with her nails extending. She also shows the ability to fire attacks from her fingertips and the tip of her tail. Her Holy Grail is also capable of attack functions, such as spewing forth mud or hovering over the enemy and striking with an array of colored lights.
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Authority of the Beast (C Rank): A skill that could also be called Anti-Humanity. Whether they be Heroic Spirits or Divine Spirits, those who have relations with "Humanity" will have their damage reduced.[1][2][4]
- Independent Manifestation (E Rank): The skill to materialise in this World independently. This Beast is capricious, and destroying just a single city seems to be enough for her. This skill also denotes that one "exists in any space-time", invalidating not only attacks by means of Time Travel and temporal paradoxes, but cancels instant-death attacks too.[1][2][4]
- Nega-Messiah (EX Rank): Negates all blessings from faith. It also comes with an advantage trait against the Extra Class of the saviors, and a hidden ability to weaken their special Skills.[1][2][4]
Personal Skills[]
- Number of the Beast (C Rank): The Personal Skill of Beast VI was altered due to her becoming an Alter Ego. The Number of the Beast, 666, engraved on herself.[1] Grants herself regular NP increases for 6 turns, crit damage+ 6 times, and damage cut 6 times.[4]
- Seven Crowns of the Beast (C Rank): Horns that symbolize the Beast of Revelations, the blasphemer, the destroyer of cities.[1] They correspond to each of her seven crowns, boosting the unique abilities of each of them. Each individual buff is weak, but the more she uses this Skill, the more it improves the power of the later buffs. The seventh buff's power will be tremendous.[4]
- Aurea Poculum (C Rank): The corrupted Grail incessantly boiling with Human desires - for fortune, alcohol, gold, spouses, lovers...[1] Adds charge to all enemies, but in exchange, halves their HP.[4]
Noble Phantasm[]
Draco's Noble Phantasm is Babalon Domus Aurea. The Beast ver. of Nero's Domus Aurea. The "seven people" in the number of targets means it works against the 7 Classes.[4] After locking the opponent inside the Golden Theater, she pulverizes the whole theater with them in it. Emperor Nero tried to invite the people to immerse them with entertainment, but Draco tries to lock the people to save them with despair.[1]
Forms and Alternate Versions[]
Geocentric Form[]
Demon Beast Emperor Draco, also known as Draco's Geocentric Form (天動説体?), is Draco's Final Ascension in Fate/Grand Order. Whore of Babylon/Heliocentric Draco is an alternate possibility of Nero Claudius. A Beast who tried the route of cursing the World instead of accepting the setting sun. That is to say, Emperor Nero's Bad Ending. However, through Ritsuka Fujimaru's will and decision to order Draco to live using a Command Spell, they managed to promote a shadow to a truth. This new form manifests an impossible Nero who overcame the thrice-setting sun. Her future self.[7]
Appearance[]
Maintaining her red eyes and draconic facial features, she now has a red mark on the left side of her face, long flowing hair that also obscures her right eye, and black horns with red flame decals emanating from the tips. She dons a black Roman cuirass with a red fabric underneath, a black fur coat with a smooth red underside, black greaves, black armored high-heels and a black bodysuit as the base of her armor. Finally, she wields her own version of Aestus Estus, now in the form of a two-handed sword, with sharper edges, and in a proportionally larger size.
Draco is slightly taller than Larva Tiamat in her Final Ascension.[7]
Personality[]
Through the trust built between her and her Master going through the testament, a new Draco was born. As a result, her original nature as the Emperor of Roses has revealed itself, influencing her personality to steadily take on the same character. Her bad mood and attitude has taken a back seat, with her more approving and passionate side starting to show instead. She approves of mankind's avarice, allowing their wastefulness and extravagance, and so commends the struggles of her Master. She has acknowledged her Master as a partner worthy of mounting a beast such as herself, and therefore holds nothing back when wielding the full power of her claws and fangs. Nevertheless, as she is closer to her original nature, if you do not spoil her adequately, her mood will turn sour, and once she has starts sulking, her cagey personality makes her a real pain in the ass to deal with.[2]
Arrogant, yet selfless. Cruel, yet loving. Sensitive, yet prone to loneliness. She is the Beast who feasts upon the world of mankind, yet also wishes to journey alongside them. Both the evil of humanity, and the love of humanity.[2]
"It is the incorrect way of the universe that the Beast of Revelation take off from the ground――that the Emperor of Roses burn up as she soars across the cosmos and becomes a brilliant star."[2]
- Relationships
- Nero Claudius (Bride)
- "Ah... I figured she would be here. My foolish self. How easygoing she is, ignorant of who she truly is... Wait. What is it she is wearing? A bridal gown... O-oh, f-fine. Uh... Umm... Well, take it easy, will you?"[9]
- Locusta
- "Let us celebrate, Locusta. You are in charge of the dinner. The occasion demands the food of the gods. Or you may call it SUPER MUSHROOM TIIIIIME!!!"[9]
- Larva Tiamat
- "What is it? You also have your Ascensions? Do not challenge me, this is no competition. But I knew it, I am taller! Heh!"[9]
- First Hassan
- "Then I shall give you the same answer I gave you before, Old Man of the Mountain: 'Oh, I see it well enough... Radiant even in the midst of this foulness.' "[9]
- Kiara Sessyoin / Kama / Koyanskaya of Light / Koyanskaya of Darkness / Larva Tiamat/Space Ereshkigal
- "I see you have other Beasts here, but fine, I permit it. After all, I am the only one summoned still in the Beast Class. It is clear which actor is the star."[9]
- Caligula
- "No, Uncle. I am not my mother. Not Agrippina. But, I see, Uncle... Even like this, you are still capable of shedding tears for me..."[9]
- Romulus / Romulus-Quirinus
- "Divine Ancestor, in the end, I never learned what Rome means to me. I still don't know. However, this is also a form of Rome, I suppose."[9]
Abilities[]
In this form, Draco wields Aestus Estus: Terminus Fire (終末の火?), a "reforged" version of the weapon used by her Saber self.[10] In combat, she fights alongside her Bestia Coccinea, the terminals now manifesting as fiery dragon heads rather than Demonic Pillar-like creatures.
In Lilim Harlot, Draco momentarily overpowered Rebloomed Bestia Coccinea. With the help of Larva Tiamat, Sétanta, and Locusta, Coccinea is defeated permanently.[7]
Development[]
Creation and Conception[]
Sodom's Beast/Draco was designed by Arco Wada in Fate/Grand Order Arcade and Fate/Grand Order. Her scenario writer is Kinoko Nasu in Fate/Grand Order Arcade.[4]
Arco Wada initially considered having Draco riding the seven-headed dragon that the Whore of Babylon rides in the Bible, but chose instead to integrate the heads directly into Draco's design. Two of the heads are the crowns on her shoulders, and the other five are the scales on her legs.[11]
Arco Wada: It's her Lily!!!!!! She obviously needed the wickedness of a Beast but since she's a larval form, I also wanted to make her cute... There's just so much I wanted to do... Her headaches have gotten beyond bad, her scales hurt her skin, and nothing can bring her enjoyment. What I drew was a small tiny Nero who sits on the throne enduring all that without letting it show in her face. I wanted her to look dignified, so I decided against including some elements, but in hindsight, she could stand to be a little more visibly in pain. Her outfit is called Red Lightning UPDATED♥.[4]
For Draco's Third Ascension, Wada's first thought was to make her look chuunibyoWP and evil, wearing red armor or a black toga. However Wada was given the instruction of "a cool-looking grown-up Nero", and "a beautiful woman dressed as a man." Therefore she got rid of things like Saber Nero's skirt, instead giving her leggings. Draco's Third Ascension is meant to look about 22 years old.[11]
