OrionWP (オリオンWP?), Class Name Archer (アーチャー, Āchā?), is an Archer-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order. Before renouncing his title, he was Grand Archer (グランドアーチャー, Gurando Āchā?).
Profile[]
Identity[]
Also called Super Orion (超人オリオン, Chōjin Orion?), he is the superhuman that calls himself Greece’s best hunter.[2]
Orion is a child born between the sea god Poseidon and Euryale (a different person from the goddess Euryale). He, who boasted he could bring down any beast, was one day deprived of both eyes due to some trouble related with women. Relying on the sound of a hammer he began rowing into the sea on a small boat, and had his eyesight restored with the influence of the goddess of dawn Eos, who he knew.[2]
When his little sister Artemis fell in love with Orion, her big brother and Sun god Apollo, who had a sense of danger, incited Artemis to shoot down Orion, who was at the sea, saying “You’re an expert at bows, but can you shoot down that man called Candaon?”. It is said that Artemis magnificently shot through her beloved Orion, and hugged the dead body while mourning him. She thought about making Asclepius, who could even revive the dead, revive him, but Asclepius was killed by Zeus’ thunder before he could bring him back to life.[2]
Helpless, Artemis sublimated Orion into stars. When it’s winter, the shining three stars (Tri-Star) can be seen. Those are said to be Orion’s belt.[2]
The legend of Robin Hood was said to be a result of the fusion of several mixtures, including the Greek myths about Orion.[16]
Appearance[]
“Isn’t the summoned me a bit too baby-faced? Don’t I look more cute than cool? I don’t? I’m perfectly fine? I see.”
Personality[]
He’s a hardcore playboy… but, most importantly he’s a very cheerful… pitiful… human full of drama that was loved by the moon goddess Artemis.[2]
« Theft begins with lies. Womanizing begins with handsomeness. Romance begins with Orion. » |
(Artemis) |
A notorious playboy in the olden days from the present. After being shot to death by Artemis, due to her actions, Orion became adorable (... adorable?) as he was transformed into a mascot character. Characteristically, Orion is lazy and irresponsible, yet he is shrewd too, occasionally evading Artemis' accusations of having an affair splendidly. In relation to Artemis, as he is in the vicinity of her trying to have an affair that will breach their relationship, it can be said to be a feeling that he is constantly in danger for being unfaithful. They are less like a married couple, and more like lovers who similarly cannot avoid each other, and yet likewise, they can avoid each other. However, in the case Artemis falls into a crisis, he is resourceful to a degree to come to her aid, even being truly reckless in doing so.[17]
Orion is dumbfounded towards Artemis' passionate approach, and there is a chance he will make an attack on various women and female Servants, but sadly he is just a mascot character after all, so it is all futile. Furthermore, there is also the fact that he is not cute enough to be called a mascot. Since Orion is an irresponsible lady-killer that likes women and flirting, he has a better affinity with a male Master whom he can repetitively amuse himself in foolish talks.[18]

- "Keep your distance, don't get too close..." that's the motto which Orion has lived his days by in Chaldea, but when it came to his attention that they would celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, he just had a face like ( ゚ Д ゚ ).[3]
- Orion (Bear Form)
- "Bear...a bear...I'm....a bear...No, wait...it looks a bit like some new trendy character, doesn't it? It's fluffy and squishy, I think it'll be big with the youngsters, don't you think!? It's not? I see..."[3]
- Paris
- "Oh hey, it's Hector's younger brother. Listen up: you should be careful because Apollo there is brutal and inhumane. That's obvious because he's a god, not human? Well, you got a point there."[4]
- Achilles
- "Achilles! You've got a reputation for bagging girls at mixers pretty quickly! Huh? You don't remember ever going to mixers in the first place? Sorry, I was just making it all up. Hahahaha. Hey, don't get mad! Don't get the chariot out!"[4]
- Jason/Achilles
- "I don't at all agree with the media's portrayal of us as 'a trio of Greek muscleheads'. Well, I guess it's not that off the mark, but..."[3]
- Medusa
- "Oh hey, it's Medusa. What's that, Master? Why don't I hit on Medusa, you ask? I'd rather not do that when two of her sisters are goddesses..."[4]
- Astraea
- "Help me, Master! That goddess with the scales took one look at me and just suplexed me, saying my sins were too heavy! She's seriously bad news! And she does that suplex move properly, lifting with her hips!"[4]
- Martha
- "Help me, Master! I made a pass at that saint maiden who fights with her fists, and she just dropped right into a boxing stance! Then she punched me in the face, and she's deadly accurate! And she was making those "sh, sh" short-burst breathing noises!"[4]
- Quetzalcoatl
- "Help me, Master! Whenever I try to make a pass at that South American goddess, she lunges in to break my neck with a cheery smile! Then, after choking me, she just tosses me in the air! Are joint locks and instant death techniques legal!? And is my nect still in place!?"[4]
- Atlantis Argonauts
- "Obviously, I don't remember anything from Atlantis, but those guys did some great stuff, and I genuinely admire them. We all get along pretty well, including the aforementioned duo of blockheads. Heey!" (A greeting that was popular but a single moment)[3]
Supposing that woman were to ever awaken from her gentle slumber and recognize him once more, he already knows what to tell her: "About that very last bit...can we just forget about it? It's kinda embarrassing." (All the Atlantean Argonauts always incessantly gave him verbal abuse in the style of "Are you insane!?", "We should just tie this guy up and sacrifice him to Artemis!", "Get your shit together already!", and so on.) Whatever the case, he just wishes for her to have a long, gentle sleep. Even if, now, not a single trace of that existence remains.[3]

Abilities[]
Although Orion is a superhuman famed as the Greece's greatest hunter,[2] Da Vinci states that when it comes to hunting, Atalanta might be an even more formidable opponent.[33] Among the many greek Heroic Spirits, Heracles and Achilles are widely considered to be stronger than him.[28] Nevertheless, having reached the top of the Archer Class by meeting high standards in both power and legends, Orion meets the necessary requirements to be summoned as Grand Archer.[34] When summoned as a Grand Servant, Orion possesses a special Saint Graph of a rank above normal Servants and therefore stands at the pinnacle of all Heroic Spirits.[35][36] Although Orion initially claims he was summoned to the Atlantic Lostbelt of his own volition, he later told Ritsuka Fujimaru that Grand Servants are usually summoned for a really good, specific reason, and warns him to stay alert for what is to come after his death.[30] It was later revealed in Olympus that Orion had been summoned as a Grand Archer to take down Tamamo Vitch Koyanskaya, who despite being an incomplete Beast with only Five tails had already grown dangerous enough to merit the summoning of a Grand Servant.[37] Despite Sherlock Holmes and Da Vinci having demonstrated the ability to determine when a Servant possesses a Grand-class Saint Graph, as shown with Qin Shi Huang and Daybit Sem Void's Servant,[38][39] their inability to detect Orion's true identity suggests he had been suppressing his Saint Graph until the moment to fulfill his duty was right.[30]
Combat[]
His primary armaments are Bow and Arrows, Knives, and Clubs.[40] As the greatest hunter, Orion possesses a fortified and dynamic body that enables him to take down any beast, whether he be barehanded or armed with a bow.[2] Artemis's terminal states Orion possesses godlike physical Strength.[20] Although the Cerberi birthed by Echidna are easily on par with the highest rank of Servants in terms of pure destructive power and durability,[19] Orion killed one infused with Poseidon Klironomia with a single blow. Despite this feat, Odysseus had prepared in advance a second Cerberus, knowing full well that two of them working together would be more than enough to tear Orion to pieces. When the Divine Beast sneak attacks Orion, it successfully wounds him by biting his arm. It is thanks to Nemo killing it with a torpedo that Orion manages to break free.[28] Orion also rejects Hephaestus's Klironomia, saying his hunter's instincts warn him against it, and that he is already good on durability either way.[21] While Orion can fire Magical Energy arrows like Artemis, he also likes to just fire daggers wreathed in mana for extra power. Orion occasionally throws his bow like a boomerang. He can also damage an enemy just by posing and generating an aura.[40] William Tell states that Atalanta is as "good a shot" as Orion.[33]
Orion was fast enough to react and block a surprise attack from Caenis. However, even with the support of Mandricardo, Mash Kyrielight, Mochizuki Chiyome, and Jason, their attacks were no match for Caenis on the ocean, where the Favor of the Sea God gives her unbeatable defense. Jason is able to deduce that her invulnerability stems from the ocean, and thus decides to hand one of Poseidon's Spiritual Cores that Francis Drake had stolen to Orion. Just holding on to it was enough to make Orion's attacks hurt Caenis, and thus, defeat her. Kirschtaria Wodime's Grand Order/Anima Animusphere, which is easily as powerful as Artemis's Shooting Star Ortygia, overpowered all five servants including Orion, although it didn't kill them.[22]
Orion made a contest with Achilles to see who could kill more Demonic Beasts, the fastest. Since Achilles was at 30% of his full speed due to his heel having been pierced, and thus, also lost his immortality, Orion proposed giving him a handicap to make up for his injury, however, Achilles didn't accept it. With the backing of Ritsuka Fujimaru Orion reached a draw in numbers and won in terms of speed. Although Achilles didn't put his injury as an excuse, he says he lost because he hadn't put together a plan of attack as well as he could have. With the backing of Ritsuka, Achilles won in both number of kills and speed.[25]
Orion was defeated by Amazoness CEO in combat. Despite Orion reminding her of Achilles, she was able to alleviate the overexcitement she feels when fighting Greek warriors by listening to her company anthem. Despite not getting enrraged, she was still strong enough to win.[32]
Aegis Eclipse[]
Normally, Orion would be unable to harm Lostbelt Artemis without a Divine Construct even if he were to power himself up with Theos Klironomia.[21][23] In fact, Hephaestus got a computing error when trying to calculate the amount of Theos Klironomia that would be required to reinforce Orion's power to levels sufficient enough to harm her.[21] To defeat Artemis, Hephaestus reforged Achilles' Divine Armor into a compound longbow designed solely for use against interstellar fighters such as Artemis. This Divine Construct known as Aegis Eclipse (アイギス蝕, Aegisu Gesshoku?) is a weapon as powerful as an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm. Just from looking at it, Mandricardo said it felt as powerful as the Holy Sword Durandal, which was said to be the greatest sword to ever exist.[27] Apollo states that it would be impossible for Paris to fire such a weapon. He says that even if Paris was to push himself so hard his Saint Graph cracks, he wouldn't still hold a candle to Orion in terms of power.[24] From the remaining materials, Hephaestus only managed to build two arrows. The bow is extremely heavy, even for Orion. Firing it compromises his Saint Graph. With or without Theos Klironomia, firing them takes one hell of a toll.[27] Just activating the bow puts such strain on his arms that it makes him feel as if his blood was boiling. His vessels pop, and he spills blood outside his veins.[29] In order to see if Orion was qualified for the "Greatest Hunter in all of Greece" title, and thus wield the bow, Hephaestus made him fight in a simulated battle against a servant whose data most closely approximates the Artemis of Proper Human History, which he won.[26]
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Independent Action (EX Rank): Earned for qualifying for Grand Archer.[3]
- Blessing of the Sea God (B Rank): The child of Poseidon. A subspecies skill of Divinity. Besides being able to run on the sea, he can eternally move inside the sea. Moreover, he can freely call rain, and Orion mainly made a heavy use of the situation of “it’s like the incessantly falling rain bathes a usually cheerful man that is crying” to captivate women. (It’s a pattern that it didn’t work really well)-[2][3]
- Curse of Scorpio (D Rank): One of Orion’s numerous causes of death. He dislikes scorpions so much that is said that the constellation Orion withdraws when the scorpion comes.[2][3]
Personal Skills[]
- Stout Arm of Brutality (B+ Rank): The stout arms that strangled a lion. In front of that simple violence, even demonic beings and Phantasmal Beasts run in fear. Tearing off coins is his strong point, and he can crush even the chin of Cerberus. It can truly be said to be peerless strength.[2][3]
- Pressure of the Moon Goddess (EX Rank): Affection from his lover(?), the Goddess Artemis. Great pressure is received from the name. Terribly strong pressure + buff that trains the body naturally. All statuses, including magic and good luck, are upgraded, and particularly physical strength is doubled.[2][3]
- Bowman of Three Stars (A+ Rank): Extolled as Greece’s first huntsman, and counting with Artemis’ blessing, his skill the best on earth. Having an anecdote of three stars (Tri-Star) as a constellation, he has acquired skill with the bow exceeding that of heroes born in different times... But. There are fatal pitfalls. In other words, the one loved by this star will be loved by a god (in particular a goddess). His conclusion may have been determined at this point, it may, it may...[2][3]
- Mind's Eye (Fake) (Above B- Rank): Danger avoidance according to one’s intuition/sixth sense. Because Orion was a hunter blessed with the utmost talent, he would yawn carefreely, no matter what kind of predicament he was in too. Since this is originally Orion’s own Skill, it is slightly Ranked-Down to B- when summoned along with Artemis. Its proper rank when summoned regularly is unknown.[15]
Noble Phantasms[]
Orion's first Noble Phantasms is Artemis Hagnós with which Orion is substantially strengthened by Artemis, albeit temporarily. The reason it’s classified as Anti-Army is that it’s a Blessing that transforms one into a being that could rival an army all by himself.[2][3]
Orion's second Noble Phantasm is Orion Hórkos. An attack that negates all defensive Skills, Noble Phantasms, etc. and increases in power if the target has demonic or animalistic traits. When he is summoned as a Grand Archer, it degrades every beast into a state where they are all within his reach. Even when it comes to an infinitely multiplying enemy, as long as they are withing his range, they will be automatically killed.[2][3] Orion uses it twice with his Aegis Eclipse bow without revealing his true identity as a Grand Servant.[30] One arrow would be used to eliminate Artemis's defenses, and the other one to destroy her main unit.[27] Orion only gets two shots, not just because there are only two arrows, but because that is as much as his Saint Graph can handle before it starts coming apart at the seams. Being further buffed by Da Vinci's spells, to the point where she claims he'd drop dead as soon as they wear off, Orion successfully destroyed her armor, leaving her core exposed. However, Sherlock Holmes states that the shot only succeeded because it took Artemis completely by surprise. When fired a second time, Artemis counters with her own Noble Phantasm, Shooting Star Ortygia. Although Orion Hórkos was powerful enough to overcome the blast, tearing right through it, it was still not enough. Artemis simply fired her primary canon again before the arrow could reach her divine core, completely turning it to dust.[29]
In the events of the Atlantic Lostbelt, Orion gained a third Noble Phantasm that shouldn't exist, Ortygia Amore Mio.[2][3] It is a powerful arrow that could only be used by renouncing his Grand Servant status, wielding the Divine Bow Aegis Eclipse forged by Hephaestus, and Paris, a Heroic Spirit who had been turned by Apollo into an arrow the same kind Hephaestus had made.[2][3][30] Being further empowered by Ritsuka Fujimaru's all three Command Spells,[2][3][30] Artemis couldn't do anything to react in time. Neither intercept the arrow nor evade it, were plausible options. She fired Shooting Star Ortygia again, however, Orion's arrow tore through it, killing her. It was a Noble Phantasm that raced towards its destination with speed and power unlike the world had ever seen.[30]
Development[]
Creation and Conception[]
Super Orion was designed by I-IV in Fate/Grand Order.[3] His scenario writer is Yuuichirou Higashide in Fate/Grand Order.[3]
Super Orion was one of the new Servants introduced in the 5th year of Fate/Grand Order that made a greater impression on Takashi Takeuchi. He describes Orion as an extraordinarily "FGO"-like character. Originally he was supposed to be a common unit (bronze), and a Berserker, but Takeuchi asked for a character with glittering muscles, since someone looking like that being a womanizer would be a bit disgusting, so he became gentler like he is now. Kinoko Nasu says that the dango nose is reminiscent of the sort of jolly guy that appears in old Showa manga. It's comedic but since he could flourish in various likeably ways, it became a very good design. In the first place, Nasu was wondering who should be Grand Archer, but this made Orion the most suitable for the choice. It was just too convincing.[41]
Comments from the Illustrator[]
"Are those the legs of a water strider? You know, the insect? No no, not at all, it's totally different. It's more like huntsman's greaves but with mountain climbing-style spikes. I heard water striders' legs were totally covered in hair, and they have two claws? And this allows them to float on water? Orion is someone who Artemis described as having a beautiful face, and being all-around handsome, but there was never a chance of him being the sort of slim, delicate man which is handsome by today's standards. After all, no matter how you view his legends, he was always more of a gorilla than a wise man; a muscle-headed macho-man who would go on to beat up countless people (and even that's an understatement). There's also the fact that just looking at the constellations, it's...difficult to use them as a design source without first complementing really large parts just using your imagination anyway, to be honest. (As an aside, in the first draft of the floating bear Orion in Artemis' third ascension, all the stars of the constellation were included. When the staff made it into a sprite, the stars on his arm were cut. I still don't know the reason for this.)"[3]
"Ever since hollow ataraxia, it's been my personal impression from characters like Heracles, Stheno, and Euryale, that when it came to Ancient Greece, in the world of Fate, the elements that became really popular might have been "big muscly men, and loli women". Not like I know if there's any truth to that. Either way, when I submitted a sketch of this mountain of muscle, it was approved almost without hesitance. The one thing that was altered was the face. Originally, his face was pretty wild. He had scars over both eyes, even. Well, if I'd gone with that legend, the design might have been too graphic. In the end, he was given a cute face, even with his neck being super-thick and like a big lump of muscles."[3]
"Speaking of, people with this many muscles tend to have a narrow range of motion due to the muscles being in the way. Inevitably, the same must be true for this guy. He can't exactly stand at attention. I think it helps with his cuteness. His hair is pretty stiff and unruly, mostly because Artemis would have copied the makeup of his hair when she created her human body, or something like that. Consequently, it means if he were to grow his hair long, it would look really similar to Artemis'."[3]
"The belt is a gift from Artemis, that's why it's a bit more sci-fi. The lights coming out in the second ascension represent the particularly bright stars in the Orion constellation. The light on the right shoulder is red because it represents the red supergiant star Betelgeuse."[3]
"The club design is made with respect with the most primitive and painful sci-fi club design I personally know of. The second ascension is the baseline for the whole design. I also assume he would just throw the club. I'm honestly not sure where the trend of a costume change in the second ascension came from, but in Orion's case, I drew him with this wild idea as if Artemis' love (also an understatement) was encroaching on him, or maybe as a reminder of sorts for him."[3]

[] Fate/Apocrypha material - Encyclopedia: Archer of “Black” [Servant], p.159-160 [T] Archer of “Black” [Servant]
One of the Servants of the Black camp. His true name is Chiron. He is a centaur—a half-human-half-horse race, and he is a famous great sage in Greek myth.
He has a calm and gentle personality, but though he treats his Master with respect, he won’t hold back on advice if it’s for the sake of his Master. He never scorns or despises others regardless of whether they are enemy or ally, and he is exceptionally calm among the intense and passionate heroes of Greek myth. He acted as the strategist of the Black camp and continued to support his camp day and night right until he took part in the final battle.
Usually, centaurs are considered both as great huntsmen who effortlessly use bows and arrows while running with their horse legs and as savage monsters who would steal anything and everything. It seems Chiron alone is regarded as a “sage” that stands out as an exception among them.
Chiron was born from Cronus, father of the head god Zeus, and Philyra, the goddess of a certain island. However, because Cronus had copulated with her while she was turned her into a horse, Chiron was born as a half-human-half-horse centaur. (There is also the theory that they were attacked by Cronus’ wife Rhea while they were in the middle of copulating and Philyra turned into a stallion in order to run away.) Balking at the idea of giving milk to a monster like Chiron, Philyra changed her form into that of a linden tree.
Though he was never loved by his mother and father, Chiron became a sage that excelled in all forms of knowledge as he grew up. This is not necessarily unrelated to the fact that his mother’s name “Philyra” means linden tree. The leaves of linden trees can be used as restoratives, and the tree bark can be used in divination or as written boards.
After becoming an adult, Chiron began to rear the “future heroes” who implored for his tutelage from all over Greece. Besides Heracles and Achilles, the heroes who received his teaching include those like Asclepius, who later became the god of medicine, and Castor, who was sublimated as the Gemini constellation. Jason, the leader of the Argonauts who enticed Medea, is also one of his students.
On a certain day, someone shot a poison arrow at him while trying to stop a dispute between centaurs, and the poison continued to endlessly make him suffer due to his immortality, until he became the Sagittarius constellation by returning his immortality to the gods and finally received salvation. His wish for the Holy Grail while participating in the Holy Grail War is to regain his immortality. To him, it is the only gift he received from his parents.
As a Servant, his stats have received a slight rank down due to giving up his immortality and transforming his legs into those of a human, but even then he boasts of specks high enough for him to be called a first-rate Servant—to an extremely abnormal extent in a certain sense. In the first place, it appears that he taught not only swordsmanship, archery and horse-riding, but also wrestling techniques, so he is relatively experienced in moving with human feet.
With the combined effects of his skills, he can even utilize a pseudo-form of future sight, making him truly all-purpose in his abilities. If he has a weakness, it is that he lacks a decisive trump card. Against the brute force approach that throws away all wisdom or intelligence, his strong points fade away.
He deeply loves how weak and insufficient humans struggle despite their insufficiency and still try to move forward, so even if he was summoned as part of the Red camp, he would have definitely rebelled against them with the resolve to die.
Though if he were to describe it himself, he would merely answer, “This is my arrogance as a teacher, as embarrassing as it is”.
In the novels, he was mainly focused on his fight with Achilles outside of his light skirmish with Mordred. After all, Chiron was the only one capable of harming Achilles. That battle was such a great joy to him that he even forgot his true nature as a Servant, but he stood back up as a Servant again at the moment of his death and accurately dealt a fatal wound to Achilles.“黒”のアーチャー【サーヴァント】

[] Fate/EXTRA material - Encyclopedia: Archer (Green) [Servant], p.152-154 [T] Archer (Green) [Servant]
Green Archer is a Servant who the protagonist fights in the second round.
His Master is Dan Blackmore.
He is a sniper whose body is hidden in a green cloak. In order to avoid confusion with the red-cloaked Archer, he is sometimes called Ryokucha.
His true name is Robin Hood, Hunter of the Forest.
It’s important to note that he is not the Robin Hood you know from popular legend. Instead Green Archer is a chivalrous robber based on the original Robin Hood.
The original Robin Hood was a troublemaking orphan who lived alone on the outskirts of a village. In a twist of fate he became involved in an ordeal with some of the Lord’s soldiers who came around town for tax collection.
The Lord had recently succeeded as head of the family, and he was taking the opportunity to raise taxes to the point where he was essentially telling the villagers to starve to death.
The villagers lacked both the desire and the power to go against the Lord.
So Robin didn’t try to rally the villagers, and instead cast himself as a protector of the forest who would punish any who violated it. He drove off the soldiers using this as his excuse. From then on he kept his identity hidden and continued to fight the Lord. Eventually he became known amongst the villagers as The Green Man.
Traps, surprise attacks, and foul play formed the core of Robin Hood’s tactics, so as a Servant he generally avoids head on confrontation.
He tries to lure his prey into the forest, which is his true territory.
“You could never call my territory a “nice forest.” Complete preparation. An overwhelming network of tricks and traps. A place for the weak to shoot and bring down stronger foe. That’s my Sherwood Forest.”
His trump card is poison obtained from plants in the forest. Actually both Green Archer and Cas-ko are poison users.
Robin Hood appears in “The Tale of Robin Hood” and is a chivalrous robber that lurks in Sherwood forest. Depicted as a hero of justice that fights against the Tyrant King John Lackland, he is a character born from a fusion of Greek myths about Orion, Celtic myths about fairies, and Druid beliefs.
There was a real person after whom he was modeled; however the model is also thought to be the result of a mix of multiple people. From the 16th century onwards he was thought to be someone who lived in the time of King Lionheart.
His true identity is veiled, however there was certainly someone who he originated from. That someone was a hero who fought not for themselves, but for the benefit of other people. But then, after death, they were destined to be forgotten. (If you look at it from this perspective, both Red and Green Archers share similar personalities.) [TL NOTE: Here personality was expressly written in katakana, but it feels like it should probably be “share a similar fate.”]
Robin Hood was handsome enough to make any naive village girl fall for him with a single look. That being said, he was very kind and a rather timid man, so not exactly the perfect lady-killer.
He would often act frivolously to hide his naive fixation on justice. But his creed always puts life over death.
“Pride or idleness are great and all, but it’s all over if you die, right?”
It follows that he held the small-minded desire of just wanting something warm and pleasant to be waiting for him after surviving to the end of the conflict. However it stands that he never managed to achieve this.
To be blunt, he had a childish, ill-tempered perspective of the world. Passing over whatever with a simple “Well I guess that’s the way it is.”
After being hated by the villagers [for the trouble he caused when he was young] he learned to simply go with the flow, and often told himself, “Don’t meddle too deeply in the affairs of others.” Nevertheless he had a love for people and whenever he saw people having fun he would somehow manage to slip himself into the group. He would end up as someone who was less than a friend, but more than a stranger.
His main attribute is virtue, so he loathes evil people, but finds no fault with good people (ordinary people). Although he twists the world around him, he would never sneer at the effort of others, however fruitless it may be.
At the root of his character is his strong sense of shame about his lowly origin.
Robin Hood is summoned as the Servant Archer, and his has poor compatibility with his Master (Dan). Throughout his lifetime he managed to stay alive by employing surprise attacks, assassination, and destructive traps. He was a so-called “Master of Cowardice.” Therefore Dan’s knightly mentality is something of a hindrance to Robin.
When it comes to the Holy Grail War, what effect does this incompatibility have on Robin’s smoldering wish (his desire of the Grail)? To find out, please refer to the game contents.
It must be mentioned that despite being ideologically incompatible with Dan, their personal relationship is rather good. Although Robin can’t follow along with Dan’s knightly mentality, Dan is a man of justice, just like Robin is. As such, Robin reluctantly obeys his orders. His reluctance is not due to prejudice, but rather because they are polar opposites.
Dan is impervious to trickery and deception, so Ryokucha (Green Archer) can’t help but scratch his head, “I wound up with another pain in the ass again.”
Green Archer: “Nitpicking at every little thing isn’t going to defeat our enemies. Oh well I guess it’s fine. I’m used to adversity after all. I’ll follow along obediently without a single complaint.”
Dan: “Archer, just my opinion, but isn’t what you just said generally considered to be a complaint?” Green Archer: “Eh? Ah, yep that’s right. You’ve got me there.”
The old veteran warrior and the young philosophical greenback.
This is the face of the struggle they share.
- ↑ Fate/Grand Order material II - Orion, p.192-201 translated by Kinalvin

Profile
Before Third Singularity:
A loving maiden on a stroll in her quest for dango.
Her true identity won't be revealed until the Third Singularity.
Eh? You hear a weird voice from time to time?
Huh, I wonder what that could be?
Orion's got no idea~☆
After Third Singularity:
Artemis was summoned while having Orion as an accessory.
Correction, is the opposite. Upon summoning Orion, a hero of Greek Mythology, for some reason the goddess Artemis also came along.
To make matters worse, Orion completely changed into a strange creature (mascot character) that cannot be defined as neither a person nor a beast.
Level 1 Bond
Before Third Singularity:
Height/Weight: 166 cm / 44 kg
Source: Greek mythology
Region: Greece
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Gender: Female
Bust size doesn't affect her bow fire.
After Third Singularity:
Height/Weight: 165cm・44kg
Source: Greek Mythology
Region: Greece
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Gender: Male・Female
The height and weight belong to Artemis.
Level 2 Bond
Before Third Singularity:
Orion is famed as the hunter that represents the winter constellation, and he's just the most perfect, eloquent, and handsome man around. He even put an arrow through that goddess Artemis' heart.
Kya~☆
After Third Singularity:
Famous as a winter representative constellation, but other than being a notorious hunter and lady-killer, it is not like a brilliant heroic tale about Orion is being transmitted.
However, he is well known as the human for whom the virgin goddess Artemis fell in love with.
Level 3 Bond
Before Third Singularity:
Theft begins with lies.
Womanizing begins with handsomeness.
Romance begins with Orion.
After Third Singularity:
Harboring uneasiness towards the abnormality of the present situation, Artemis trespassed by wedging herself into Orion's summoning. She is fulfilling the role of an Archer.
Since her divinity has dropped to the limit, she just has a power that is slightly stronger than your normal Servant.
Level 4 Bond
Before Third Singularity:
I just love the sound of amore!
It's sooo sweet and gentle, but still comes with an unstoppable heartrending feeling!
After Third Singularity:
Orion is dumbfounded towards Artemis' passionate approach, and if there is a chance he will make an attack on various women and female Servants, but sadly he is just a mascot character after all, so it is all futile. Furthermore, there is also the fact he is not cute enough to be called a mascot.
Level 5 Bond
Before Third Singularity:
"Goddess's Arrow of Love and Romance - Tristar Amore Mio!"
Rank: A+ Type: Anti-personnel Noble Phantasm
A lovely arrow that transmits the power of love.
Anyway, it blows the target away and sends them into a panic!
After Third Singularity:
"Love-Arrow Passion-Arrow of the Moon Goddess"
Rank: A+ Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
An arrow fired with Artemis' power of love towards Orion.
Because it is shot together with exuberant love, it exerts tremendous damage and maximum confusion on the target.
Interlude
Before Third Singularity:
After Third Singularity:
Since Orion is an irresponsible lady-killer that likes women and flirting, rather he has a better affinity with a male Master whom he can repetitively amuse himself in foolish talks. With the exception of Orion, Artemis has no interest in the opposite gender, but she really gets into love stories regardless of being heterosexual or homosexual.

- ↑ 19.0 19.1 Fate/Grand Order: Cosmos in the Lostbelt - Atlantis: Ancient Ocean of the Dreadnought Gods - Section 1: Crisis After Crisis
