Defensive Power Edit

Anyone know if this defends against Noble Phantasms of B rank or lower, similar to Godhand? Or is it just attacks of that rank? Zahadrin (talk) 03:45, April 15, 2013 (UTC)

Well to my understanding a B rank Noble Phantasm is a B rank attack, so I would assume so. Though I guess it really depends on the effect. I mean things like Gae Bolg or Dellusional Heartbeat which don't rely on defence would likely go through it. But basically I think if it's a direct attack Phantasm beneath B rank it will defend against it. Hawkeye2701 (talk) 13:08, April 15, 2013 (UTC)

To my understanding, Delusional Heartbeat is a Curse, so it's not possible for Armor to defend against it. Gae Bolg would most likely circle around to automatically puncture the weak point in his back, since it takes the most direct pathway to the Heart. And with the Armor, the most direct and easy way would be around and through that small opening. But what I've read on here is that a C Rank Noble Phantasm is equal to an A Rank Attack, so... Kinda hard to decipher things like this. Zahadrin (talk) 23:18, April 15, 2013 (UTC)

The true meaning of B+ Edit

So there was a discussion about this a month ago, and this was the conclusion by Mcjon That seems worded strangely and makes it sound like Armor of Fafnir somehow becomes less effective if he tries to defend himself, when it's actually saying that the B+ defensive value being subtracted from the attack is assuming he just sits there and takes it in the face, and that by actively defending with his sword he can reduce the incoming damage even further.

Is it true and whats on the page is just mistrantion or is there actually no basis?

No clue. You'd have to ask the translator or ask the poster to clarify any issues in the translation. EGGS (talk) 02:15, March 18, 2017 (UTC)
