One-on-one chances Edit
What are Caster's chances in a one-on-one fight? He'd lose to Gilgamesh for sure, but what are his odds against the other Servants? It took both Lancer and Saber to defeat him in the first fight (though Saber couldn't use Excalibur), and (if I'm not mistaken) his huge monster can't be beaten by anything other than an anti-fortess/anti-world NP or unless he goes out of the creature and reveals himself (which doesn't seem likely as he remained inside the entire river fight). It seems like the odds of the other Servants defeating him one-on-one are quite low, especially if he brings out the huge thing. Attacking him directly doesn't seem easy in a one-on-one fight, since Lancer, who has a high rank in Agility, needed Saber's help to get past the summoned horrors. I'm no expert, though. Any ideas on how strong he is one-on-one? 18.104.22.168 14:34, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
We're only supposed to use these sections as a means to improve the article. Having said that, his ability one on one is debatable. Since without his Cthulu-type monster, a tunnel full of his horrors were wiped out by Alexander. Basically, If he's on foot, it's likely that Sabre, Archer and Rider possess weapons powerful enough to crush him. With Assassin, due to their multiples being debatable along with Berserker due to Knight of Honour. Leaving only Lancer, a class who generally seem to thrive in one-to-one battle being the only one seemingly entirely at the disadvantage and even then, high agility and a NP that cuts through prana might give him a shot.
When he actually summons his giant horror, this promptly eradicates the ability of everyone by Sabre and Archer to strike definitive blows against the beast by themselves, with Berserker again being debatable because of Knight of Honour. Considering he never directly engaged Caster, especially while using the fighter jet, it seems likely to me a few NP rockets might do in Caster's monster, if not destroying it, at least punching in far enough to get Caster. Still a lot of this is speculative as Assassin, Archer and Berserker never engaged Caster directly, so we really can't use half this data even if it's obvious. Thanks for the info. For future reference, does this wiki have any place where I can ask future questions? I'm new to the whole Wikia thing so I didn't know this type of question wasn't allowed on the talk pages. Sorry. 22.214.171.124 16:59, March 29, 2013 (UTC)
Is there any clear info regarding Caster's summoning condition?
I mean some source said that Ryuunosuke used Blood as Catalyst, some other said that he lacked of Relic and thus Caster whose personality suits him the most was summoned. Which one is true??Dainsleaf (talk) 10:03, November 17, 2013 (UTC)
