I see what you did there, anime team...[]

This is totally a Christian reference. "Crown Undertaker", with thorns enwrapping the enemy? This is the crown of Jesus wore on the cross, before he died and was later buried. Who are in charge of burials? Undertakers.

Also, that other Noble Phantasm, "Ninth Prayer" : this prayer is called the Nones. It's the nith prayer in the Liturgy of the Hours, and it commemorates the Death of Jesus of the Cross.

I don't if Hiroyama is responsible for the creation of those two Noble Phantasms, but the God complex is strong in there...

Interesting, if there wasnt a clear indication that Juilan NPs were creations of his I would have totally thought he would have a Jesus class card. --Iceblade44:Sieg (talk) 03:53, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

His creations are based upon existing things though. For example, Apneic Beauty teach me that it's about something takes 301 seconds to reach a place very cold and in which you can't breathe in exchange for a beautiful sight : 301 seconds is the time for the Volstok-1 rocket to reach the first stratos above Earth one can call "space", a freezing point with no oxygen. Authoritarian Personality is the name of a book about fascism and its "power" to put a population under one's control (controlling gravity is a good physical way to represent that). Shadow Hand [of Code] is the name of a robotic hand that can do very precise things, just like a real hand. I think Julian is seriously trying to become the God of Humanity by turning their greatest achievements into Noble Phantasms (reaching space, controlling a population, creating mechanical limbs etc.) Hitsuji Mamoru (talk) 04:49, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
Your interpretations seem to be pretty much on point, but one question does come to mind: Why would something based on a prayer be manifested as a pillar? The pillar does appear to have some kind of inscription on it, but it doesn't look like its text or anything.88.115.164.91 08:49, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
I'm not sure Anon, I'm not sure. If those two attacks had subtitles, it might have helped but unless a material book is released, we won't get them so I can only speculate that the pillar symbolize the Spear of Longinus or the Cross... but that would be a stretch lol -- Hitsuji Mamoru (talk) 11:23, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
I also interpret it as the cross, since that pillar is definitly made of wood plus I think it fits best with the prayer you mentioned.--Iceblade44:Sieg (talk) 13:21, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
The idea or image of the Cross as, well, a CROSS, may actually be wrong. The word used for the crucifixion, in the Greek text (that would be the original New Testament language - STAUROS) is, if my memory doesn't fail me, one of those words which has it's root in Proto-Indo European language (meaning it has preserved it's original sign at least partially even though a real fuck ton of time has passed), and gives the idea of something vertical, (more) like a pole (like one of those used to make wood palisade walls) than either a T or cross, or alludes to the idea to make something stand/straight. But given the evolution of the capital punishment by crucifixion throught time and etc, it's hard to give a FOR SURE/TRUTH answer with 100% certainty. LehenDuo (talk) 07:33, June 24, 2020 (UTC)
