The "aren't familiars by the original meaning" is referring to the plain fact of Servants being far superior and independent of the Master.

- No, no. Emphasis on the superior part, not the independent part. The regular master, familiar relationship is supposed to have the master being far more powerful than the thing they're controlling. Otherwise, there'd be nothing stopping the familiar from rebelling and reversing the relationship.
- To be honest, it'd be better to just use Jonnobi as an indicator of something like that being said in the game, then trying to find it yourself to see how it was used. I don't agree with his entry editing a lot of times. Tsukihime Lab has better interpretation on most stuff in general, even though they aren't direct quotes.
- Ah >_< Hm, in fact I figured that familiars could also be some evil spirits from nature and so, as it's said that magi rarely pick a spirit from nature as they can't know what kind of spirit it will be. Hence I thought the "power level" could vary from familiar to familiar... But they're really usually some "small" familiars, there won't be more powerful ones ? Will be adding the Tsukihime Labs in a couple of hours (I didn't expect it to be in their Fate section, thought it would be in the Tsukihime section - plus I'm always frustrated at how short the Tsukihime Labs dictionnary seems). --Byakko 12:16, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- Go play the Fate route including the pre-route split parts. A lot of that stuff is explained by her in it. And you have to remember, it's her general explanation. Also, even I don't know where he picked up the part about magi not liking to use seirei. It might be there, it might not be there.
