Even though the hundred face hassan was the weakest servant in the 4th war can one personality still kill a master.

To answer, if one 80th of Assassin's ability with no specialisation can easily dodge between magical defences and disable them with ease, I think it is a fair indicator that they can easily perform the Assassin's duty of sneaking up and killing the Masters. However, if you meant does one of them still possess the supernatural power of a servant far surpassing human, I have no idea, assassin was only ever killed by other servants so their ability against magi or even normal humans is untested, I'd say even if they are only as strong as a normal human now though, they still possess all the skills and talents of trained killers. Anyway, that aside, I have to shill in the regular this is not a forum bit etc. Hawkeye2701 20:20, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Personality section?[]

Given this character in particular I think it might be worth noting the varied entities and specific personae that arose from it in its own section. Even the unused plot point of this assassin is only noted in the Zabaniya page. As it stands at least three independant personalities stand out

Female Hassan - The seeming go between for the Hassan and Kirei, she seems to be the co ordinator if nothing else, notable if only for her unique appearance and gender compared to the "Old man of the Mountain" image.

Zayd - Named in Omake, the unspecialised Hassan who was particularly arrogent and was used as Gilgamesh Bait.

Hassanko - Though never expressed in canon, the white garbed amnesiac Hassan kid who Waver was supposed to find. If nothing else point to the user of Psychological Sleeper Agents by Hassan. Hawkeye2701 20:30, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Female assassin have no face?[]

Wait how does the kid assassin who lost her memory have face yet the other female doesen't. If I not mistaken the assassins use the skill expert of many specialization like swindling and rhetoric which they use by choosing the right personality. I beleive they might need a face so they won't either scare the pepole they try to swindle or find out by they enemy when rhetoric. So would it make sense if all assassins have faces since his past life he did change his face, body, and personality in order get close in order to kill his target.

Zabaniya[]

Do you think his Zabaniya is a passive skill? Are all the assasins have the same stat or are the stats divided among the others?RERU Kareru (talk) 15:37, May 8, 2014 (UTC)K.R.

I think it's passive, he can't go back to being one no matter what, that's why he wishes the Grail. Also I think I read that his abilities are divided among all the 100 personalities, meaning he is the weakest ever. Sandubadear (talk) 17:35, May 8, 2014 (UTC)
I thought it was only 80 Personalities, not 100. Zahadrin (talk) 22:47, May 8, 2014 (UTC)
He is called Hundred-Faced, so I just assumed it was 100, I don't know if there is an exact number Sandubadear (talk) 23:11, May 8, 2014 (UTC)
Well, the description says as follows... "Zabaniya: Delusional Illusion (妄想幻像ザバーニーヤ, Mousou Genzou?) is the ability used by the "The Hundred-Faced Hassan", who was the Assassin summoned during the fourth Holy Grail War. It is an anti-unit Noble Phantasm that targets Assassin himself rather than an opponent. Assassin is a single entity, but he possesses a compartmentalized soul and multiple personalities that allow him to divide his spiritual potential to materialize up to eighty different Servants. Though limited by his physical body during life, his thousand souls are now free of such limitations as a spiritual entity, and as each segment can materialize as an individual, they can all be materialized simultaneously in different shapes." Zahadrin (talk) 23:16, May 8, 2014 (UTC)
So is it 80 or thousand? lol Sandubadear (talk) 23:21, May 8, 2014 (UTC)
Do they all have the same stats?RERU Kareru (talk) 03:41, May 13, 2014 (UTC)K.R.

Assassin Presence Concealment[]

If all individuals of the Hundred Face Hassan have Presence Concealment rank A+, then how did Kiritsugu and Maiya see Assassin during the Saber vs Lancer fight at the harbour?? In comparison, Jack the Ripper from Fate/Apocrypha has the same skill, and is able to carry Sagara Hyouma's body in plain sight without anyone else noticing.

Eaglezero55 (talk) 17:59, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

All of Assassin's abilities that aren't related to the division of their being, like Librarian of Stored Knowledge, are divided in potency. So it's possible that this also applies to their presence concealment, meaning that instead of A+ it's effect is one eightyth (<Weird ass word) of its given rank. On the other hand, it could quite simply be that the Assassin, being unaware of Kiritsugu and Maiya's presence, didn't bother using its presence concealment as none of the other heroes detected its presence either.Hawkeye2701 (talk) 18:49, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

It specifically says that "Presence Concealment was shared across all bodies without degradation", so I think I'll go with the second one. Thanks for the explanation, much appreciated.

If I not mistaken the novel of fate/zero says that assassin could have remained in spiritual form and obtain information from a much closer distance . But while he in spiritual form his senses would have turned into spiritual detection; and the job that his master gave him was to observe the fight between saber and lancer with your eyes. I guessing so kirei can observe through assassin eyes. Adding to Hawkeye second answer Kiritsugu was in troubled since if he had snipe lancer master assassin will no doubt  discover him and possible kill him.  Sorry: no profle just a wandering mage
