Reliance of Type-Moon Anglicizations[]

Really, they aren't very good at English, and have had more than one typo before. I would be more inclined to use standard romanization renderings of Japanese names (i.e. Shishigou versus Sisigou) than to rely on Type-Moon to do their own Anglicization. -- Fallacies (talk) 00:54, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

I'd rather stick with official romanizations unless they are truly wrong like "Medousa" and "Karuna." Sometimes they may just be randomly doing it to the best of their ability, but then you get some that randomly decide on weird ones for no particular reason. Sisigou is very much wrong in context of spoken Japanese. It's the same as calling Shirou Sirou. -- Fallacies (talk) 01:16, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
I'm not a translator or anything, but when I first heard this guy's name as "Shishi", that made sense to me with the whole lion thematic that Sabre and presumably Mordred have. Hawkeye2701 (talk) 02:36, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

Given that we now have an anime where both the Japanese and English pronounces it "Shishigou" and official English subs that write "Shishigou," can we finally do away with the nonsense that is Sisigou? I'd do it myself but I don't really know my way around editing a wiki this complicated. Commandant (talk) 14:41, March 30, 2018 (UTC)
