Realta Nua[]

  • Luvia appeared in Realta Nua and was voiced by Yukari Tamura? That's the first time I am hearing that. Can anyone confirm this? Libra00 20:57, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
  • yeah, she "appears" in the true end of the Heaven's Feel route, though only her voice.

Master[]

Is she really a master? If so, who is/was her servant? 89.176.75.26 15:36, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

I don't belive she is but her Ancestors in the 3rd War were Masters of Twin Sabers due to their Sorcery Trait so when you see Edelfelt Master it's proably talking about them. the Sabers were two facests of the same hero so Arturia and Alter-Arturia was used in Avenger's False 3rd War Loop. possiblly, unlike Arturia who's alter self was a corruption.
the Edelfelt Sisters hero may have been known to have a split personality like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, that or someone in TYPE-MOON plans to have a Female Hero be their Saber and use one of their parodies (ie. Joan).....or Saber-Sakura where there use of the Edelfelt Sisters Sorcery Trait causes her looses her Noble Phasasum and it insted became the second Saber, would be more likely given it seems it must be a law that all new Type-Moon Works must have a Saber Archtype since even Waver's own story has one (ie. Gray) Memor-X: Shoujo Ai/Yuri Rose Knight (talk) 01:40, February 17, 2015 (UTC)

Actually Luvia is a master in like Melty Blood or something, she's basically a joke Master, but her Command Seal was shown, so it's included. I don't recall what her servant was, but it wasn't anything unique, just a reuse I think.

As for the Third War Sabre, it wasn't necessarily a hero with two personas or whatever, but a hero with both good and bad aspects and their sorcery trait Ores Scales caused their Servant to split. Since Avenger couldn't recreate the 5th war for Bazett, he recreated the 3rd with the participants of the 5th, so Arturia and her corrupted form stood in for them. Only two servants of the 3rd war were correctly duplicated into Avenger's False Grail War, himself and the Assassin for some reason. --Hawkeye2701 (talk) 05:46, February 17, 2015 (UTC)

Not Just Finnish[]

Actually to be more accurate the name Edelfelt is of Swedish origins not just Finnish. In fact most people in real life with this surname were actually Swedish. So I think To call Luvia and her family just Finns is a bit of an understatement to their larger Scandinavian family line.Neverest1 (talk) 17:26, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

Whoa Nev's right! I just checked Wikipedia and it says so right here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swedish_name
Apparently the Edelfelt name originates from Sweden and was getting popular in Finland.Oblivion One (talk) 17:52, February 12, 2015 (UTC)
Yeah just to point out, Nobody really cares. What is the point anyway. So the Freaking Edelfelts got some freaking Swedish blood in them. Well news flash, so do thousands of other freaking Finns! For Godsakes, they were freaking rulled by the Swedes, Finland was under the Bloody Kingdom of Sweden and Swedish Empire! Now obviously we're going to see Finnish and Swedish people get married and procreate with each other in such a situation! ChroniclerV (talk) 18:12, February 12, 2015 (UTC)
Couz, your doing this to get back at him for being a jerk before, Right?Vindicator22 (talk) 19:53, February 12, 2015 (UTC)
Neverest1... the Edelfelt family in the Typemoon franchise is completely Finnish. Just because the name is used in Sweden doesn't mean Luvia's from "a Scandinavian family line" - Typemoon ultimately decides where and how that "family line" originated (it's their story, after all - real life has nothing to do with it). Just to make sure, Typemoon's official Japanese wiki lists Luvia as a Finnish character. Specifically, "北欧フィンランド" i.e. Hokuo Finrando / Nordic Finland. Also, the most famous real life Edelfelt was Albert Edelfelt, a Finnish painter - when you type in "Edelfelt" at the Swedish Wikipedia, it automatically links to HIS page.
And to offer an example, my last name is Swedish. But look, my family line's lived in the same eastern Finnish village for close to 300 years now (possibly even longer). So just because my name is Swedish DOES NOT make my family "Scandinavian". Capisce?
Just to quote a name book: "Having Swedish family names is very common in Finland. However, just because the name is Swedish doesn't mean the family has Swedish roots. Back when Finland was still ruled by Sweden, several purebred Finnish families changed their names to Swedish just to blend in. When Finland became Finnish again, these names were never changed back." Death Goddess Raiden (talk) 05:25, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
