TenochtitlanWP (テノチティトラン, Tenochititoran?), Class Name Pretender (プリテンダー, Puritendā?), is a Pretender-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order. Prior to her True Name Construction as a Pretender, her Saint Graph also bears the identities of the Ruler-class TlalocWP (トラロック, Torarokku?) and the Berserker-class HuitzilopochtliWP (ウィツィロポチトリ, Witsiropochitori?) in the South American Lostbelt.
Profile[]
Identity[]
“A city dedicated to the gods must be both strong and beautiful. Please don’t say such phrases like ‘home is where you make it’ around me, okay?”
A Servant in the form of a young woman who calls herself TlalocWP, the god of rain, or HuitzilopochtliWP, the god of war, and refers to Tezcatlipoca as her brother. Tlaloc was the Aztec god of rain, who ruled the third world as the Sun but destroyed it via a rain of fire, according to legend. Huitzilopochtli was the tribal god of the Aztec people, known both as a war god and the incarnation of the sun.[1]
Her true identity is a spirit that resided within their city, a Servant that personified the city itself. Its name is TenochtitlanWP. The capital of the Aztec EmpireWP, which existed from the 14th to 16th centuries. Although Tenochtitlan was located on the water, it was the newest and largest urban model of its time, with 300,000 inhabitants and not a single peasant in the city, but only the king, priests, nobles, merchants, and slaves.[1]
Hernán CortésWP, the conquistador who would later destroy the Aztec Empire, and his traveling party were said to have marveled when they visited Tenochtitlan, saying: “There is no city like this in the entire world”. Today, traces of it have been completely lost and it has become Mexico CityWP, the capital of MexicoWP.[1]
Appearance[]
Personality[]
Introverted yet dynamic. An iron honor student who believes in her own righteousness and thoroughly abides by it. Justice is “urban prosperity” and “urban safety”; evil is “urban decay” and “urban danger.” Those who live righteously are not especially praised or laughed at, but favored; those who live wickedly are not especially scolded or looked down upon, but executed.[1]
"The value or the quality of the battle is irrelevant. Fight for whatever reason you please. Fighting and dying is all that matter.” The one who professes such things, Tezcatlipoca, is one who she doesn’t really get along with. But as she respects Tezcatlipoca, she’s able to put up with it. A calm and ruthless ‘cool beauty’.[1]
She carefully evaluates what she says, but her emotions at the time are clearly expressed at the end of her sentences:[1]
- Expressing deep affection or attachment: “…Okay?”
- Expressing disappointment or pity: “…Okay?”
- Expressing hostility or anger: “…Okay?”
Even if it seems to be similar at first, they have different meanings.[1]
Perhaps because she’s a rain god, her level of 'humidity’ is amazing.[1]
Being the soul of a city, she does like people. It’s unclear whether she loves humans as animals, or as elements that color her urban vibrancy (most likely both). She proposes to let the person she likes live in Tenochtitlan in a natural and apparently blunt manner. “I looked into your home. I’m not particularly concerned, but if you continue to live in a place of that caliber, your quality of life will go down. You should move, okay?”[1]
She’s an 'ennui’-type 'cool beauty’, who sincerely and openly marches at her own pace. However, when her anger reaches a boiling point, she swears in a manner unbefitting of her 'honor student’ appearance. A lot.[1]
Inside, there’s the pent up feeling of being a 'destroyed city’. Due to the choices of Moctezuma II, the Aztec empire was destroyed and Tenochtitlan disappeared from the earth. What she wants is not the revival of the Aztecs or the rebuilding of Tenochtitlan. Simply the chance to exist as a city once more. No matter how small her world may be, she has a strong desire to protect whatever city-bound life she can this time.[1]
Relationships[]
- Tezcatlipoca
- "The great Tezcatlipoca. He's had lots of faces since the age of myth, and he's never known what to do, but... To pick modern clothing without any hesitation... As expected from Brother! I thought they were a bit good too!"[2]
- Quetzalcoatl
- "Stop talking about Quetzalcoatl. Nothing good comes from her. She provoked a factional war against Tláloc at Teotihuacan, got in Brother's way at Nahui Ocelótl, and then cunningly took away all of Brother's popularity... And also, she even made it like she was the one who brought corn... Seriously, give me a break with all this handover from the Maya. The Azteca people have all that too."[2]
- Jaguar Man
- "Jaguar Man... Ah, that thing. That's something, for that Ocēlōmeh to be here too. ...Am I not surprised, you ask? I mean, that must be the Jaguar Man from some Lostbelt, am I wrong? A Divided Spirit from my old brother can't possibly be this funny."[2]
- Nitocris
- "Nitocris... A gloomy woman... That's right. She's hardworking, overserious, and cares about her people... I don't agree with her in a single point. I won't say that killing traitors with a water torture didn't have some style, but we probably won't get along. Please don't leave us two alone... Okay?"[2]
- Mash Kyrielight
- "First Servant.... The castle of chalk... The city of fairies and humans... My, that might be quite a city... Right? Although it can't compare to my Aztlan. Do you still have Holy Grails? Before using them on her please reconstruct me first... Okay?"[2]
- Ozymandias
- "Ozymandias. Nitocris said that a lot, so I thought it was some sort of term. If she had said Ramesses II, I'd have known immediately. I wonder if he'll let me remodel his temple even if it's only once."[2]
- Qin Shi Huang
- "Eh, wait, show me that footage data one more time. ...This is the Epang Palace of a Lostbelt... At first sight it's disgusting, but looking at it again it's so incredible it makes me feel dizzy... Pervert... The deed of a pervert... I want to see the real deal... ...Eh? T-They abandoned it? Shi Huang Di themselves?"[2]
- Semiramis
- "Making a castle float in the sky... Inverting heaven and earth... Fufu... How cheeky. I get it. This is the idea of a space ship... Right? Semiramis, I'll remember that name. I wonder if she likes corn?"[2]
- Constantine XI
- "Even the most solid fortresses fall by being locked once. To be met with such misfortune at the last decisive battle right after a fierce siege... Fuu... What a long-armed, chaste, and noble city... And most importantly, she mourns the death of her emperor."[2]
- Nero Claudius
- "A golden theatre!! She's using too much budget on public facilities, isn't she...!!? ...My apologies, I got impossibly excited. By the way, it's not golden, but I have a garden decorated with emeralds. Lots of birds, colorful plants, beautiful waterways. It's a special space where only a king and his consort would enter... yes."[2]
- Nero Claudius (Swimsuit)
- "The emperor Nero also has a swimsuit?!! ...Sorry, I lost my composure. I'm always ready. Tenochtzin, how's it?"[2]
- Osakabehime
- "What an astonishing country... Right? For the evil spirit that settled on a castle to call herself a princess. Well, my interest in that excessive impudence has swelled, though. ...Princess. ...Princess. ...Right, that was okay too..."[2]
- Osakabehime (Swimsuit)
- "Okki ── No, Osakabehime is in a swimsuit. ...If it's Master, you should know what I'm going to ask... Right?"[2]
- "Now I can finally face her properly. What do you mean, 'who'? I’m talking about Okki—I mean, Osakabehime. We’re both wearing bikinis and holding plastic guns. Clearly, I’m referring to airsoft."[3]
- Miss Crane
- "To think that such a beautiful bird existed at the other side of the sea...?! Crane? Is that a crane? And what's more, she can prepare custom-made Western clothes immediately? ...Ah, but, what about the measurements.... ─── "She just checked most Servant's three sizes"? ...Haah, so she was just a criminal.... She's quite the nasty Servant, but she doesn't have many friends, so becoming one is a god's duty... you know?"[2]
- "I was mistaken about Miss Crane. I was ready to consult her about my clothes, but... her concentration, passion, and commitment while working really make her worthy of the title of brave. I’m sure she was once a young woman with dreams and a bright future ahead her as well."[3]
- Mecha Eli-chan / Mecha Eli-chan MkII
- "A heart dwells inside the castle's guardian statue, and for the sake of her people she'll fly through the sky, pierce with drills, and fire missiles... Undoubtedly a best-seller, isn't it? It's the work of a genius after all. Please let me know about more writings. ...Eh? We're talking about children stories, aren't we?"[2]
- Elizabeth Báthory / Elizabeth Báthory (Halloween)
- "The idea of turning a castle into amps. I'm quite acquainted with Elizabeth. Her tastes in clothes aren't bad, and of course I've been invited to the stage. A fortress speaker, and a city-type engine with a guitar. ...Fuh, isn't that rock?"[2]
- Kiara Sessyoin (MoonCancer)
- "A mirage. Such a gigantic city exists at the bottom of the sea... Right? Let's go inspect it during our next break period. As a fellow water city I must get some references... Huh? There's a city on top of a clam, and that city acts as a bed? The modern-day Xibalba? ...Let's quit it. Our vacation will be in the gulf land of Chiba in Japan... Okay?"[2]
- Dobrynya Nikitich (Swimsuit)
- "I asked Nikitich if she was a cat or a leopard, and she replied, "I’m a Warrior." What a shame. His Holiness Tezcatlipoca could certainly use a leopard warrior."[3]
- Mysterious Heroine XX Alter
- "Isn’t XX’s tan absolutely charming? I want to fight her someday. As a city, I think it’s an essential experience for me have a clash between a giant mecha and a mobile suit."[3]
- Cnoc na Riabh
- "Queen’s City System: even if the infrastructure falls apart, a new fae will be born as its heart, ensuring the city’s renewal. It’s a truly frightening spell. Be it Kulkukan or the other civilisations from the Lostbelts, none of them should be taken lightly."[3]
- Trưng sisters
- "Heroic Spirits are mostly selfish beings, but there are still a few among them who command genuine respect. That pair of ceremonial gowns, resembling a grand white dove, cherished their land, their people, and most of all, the rain. Should you ever decide to take on the Trưng Sisters, be sure to invite me."[3]
- Alice Kuonji
- "Sometimes a chubby blue bird comes by and says things like, "Dang, Miss, you rock! How 'bout we hit up the Valley of Death together? Like Top Gun: MaverickWP, ya heard of it?... Is it just me, or is it gettin' super muggy in here outta nowhere?" I can just go ahead and squash it, right?"[3]

Forms and Alternate Versions[]
Swimsuit[]
Personality[]
Reserved and action-oriented.
A stalwart honor student with a deep-seated belief in her moral compass, which she follows with an iron-clad approach—or at least that’s the image she tries to project. More often than not, she ends up voicing her true thoughts.
As the very heart of a city, loving humans is a core part of her nature. However, whether that affection is genuinely for them as individuals or merely as decorations to freshen up her cityscape remains somewhat unclear.
Her entire style revolves around being a girlboss with a stoic aura, but she often acts impulsively and moves at her own pace with no regard to others whatsoever. When her patience wears thin, she also tends to lash out with surprisingly foul mouth for her persona, which happens on a regular basis.
...What you have described above is your everyday Tenochtitlán, but the current summer and vacation setting has put her in a honeymoon phase.
"No need to overthink things. Just sign this relocation notice, okay?"
Regardless, her guiding principle remains ’to protect her citizens,’ and she will continue to act in accordance with it.[4]
Abilities[]
- Class Skills
- Territory Creation (EX Rank): As the living embodiment of the City of Tenochtitlán, her Territory Creation is of the highest rank.
- Divinity (E Rank): Under normal circumstances, this skill would also be of the highest rank, as she houses a pair of gods within herself... However, her departure from Earth caused its rank to drop.
- Waterside Performance (A+ Rank): Her pride and joy as the supreme floating city.
- City-State Alliance (- Rank): The alliance has been dissolved. "Why? Well, think this through, Hummingbird."
- Lunar City (B Rank): Her usual skill, Metztliapan: Lake Texcoco, changed from an active to a passive skill.

- Summer Wars (A Rank): A showdown where one’s pride is at stake for the Beachside Beauty title. The enemy’s eyes are irresistibly drawn to her body (the Tenochtbot) which she had flawlessly polished for the occasion.
- Moon Rabbit (A Rank): Tenochtitlán underwent a transformation and emerged as Tochtlitlán after forming a Sisterhood with BB Dubai. Rabbits hold the top position in terms of strength on the Moon’s surface, so she supercharges all Servants with rabbit ears using her rabbitforce.
