Trevor Pelham Codrington (トレバー・ペラム・コドリントン, Torebā Peramu Kodorinton?) was the creator of the Marburry Workshop. His son is Wills Pelham Codrington.[1][2]
Profile[]
Background[]
At some point, Trevor obtained a pair of Fairy Eyes from the Mystic Eyes auction aboard the Rail Zeppelin, which he then implanted into his son Wills to use him as the basis for his workshop. Wills himself believes that he was born with them.
Personality[]
Not much is known of Trevor's personality, but from what is said it is clear that he held no real love for his son; seeing him as a tool from birth to manipulate the fairies into serving his workshop. He is also described as having become psychopathic with how he used the Workshop to murder numerous people without remorse in order to create his army of artificial fairies.[2]
Role[]
Lord El-Melloi II Case Files[]
Before the events of the series, he attempted to create an artificial 'Wild Hunt'. To this end, he went to the Rail Zeppelin to purchase a pair of Mystic Eyes able to perceive fairies, which he then secretly implanted to his own son, Wills, in order for him to become his Workshop's "core". He then constructed a workshop to amplify the eyes' power in order to come in contact with fairies. He also received funding for his work from Doctor Heartless as part of his plan. Once he was able to do so, he made a deal with them, specifically Faye. Through this deal, he used their power to murder numerous people with his workshop (people whom he likely lured to his land intentionally) and using their essance to create a legion of artificial fairies known as Black Dogs. Upon realizing his true intentions though, and deeming them a violation to the natural order, Faye killed him with a Black Dog in retaliation. However, despite Trevor's death, his workshop continued to operate. This lead Faye to seeking assistance in dismantling it properly.[1][2]
Abilities[]
As a member of the Codrington family, he is a necromancer. That he was able to transform an entire wasteland into a workshop as well killing numerous people with it to create Black Dogs from their essance is a sign that he had considerable power.[2]
