The Twelve Machine Gods (十二機神?), also known as the Twelve Pillars, are the Gods comprising the Atlantean pantheon that ruled in 12,000 BC.[1][2]
History
The Machine Gods are all parts of the ship Chaos, each given authority from it.
Greater History of Man
The true bodies of the Machine Gods were all destroyed by Sefar in 12,000 BC, with the gods' remnants later becoming the Twelve Olympians of the Greek pantheon.
Lostbelt
Within the history of the Atlantic Lostbelt, Zeus forcibly combined with the other eleven gods to destroy Sefar.
Characteristics
The true bodies of the Twelve Machine Gods, massive spacefaring ships, are known as Aletheia (真体, Shintai?, lit. 'True Body')(approximately meaning "truth" in ancient Greek). They can produce remote human-sized bodies, referred to as terminals (端末, Tanmatsu?), for interacting with people, some of which became the basis for their forms as the Twelve Olympians after the destruction of their Aletheia by Sefar.[1][2]
