Just over three months after the release of Lostbelt No.1, Lostbelt No.2: Götterdämmerung's release has been announced. A little bit of new information has been revealed with the announcement, with a lot more to follow in the upcoming weeks.

Starting with this Lostbelt, these entries are going to be split between pre and post-Release periods. Given the situation with the previous pages and external circumstances, initial construction will likely take some time, as will subsequent compilation and referencing. If there's anything to add, amend or reference, please say so in the comments below - it'd be much appreciated and I need as much help as I can get.

WARNING: Spoilers below for those not following the Japanese release of Fate/Grand Order

Pre-CM

Background

Previous Events

Current Situation

Having left the collapsing Russian Lostbelt, the Shadow Border has received a transmission, supposedly from the Wandering Sea, summoning survivors of the Greater History of Man...[1]

Setting

Lost Belt No.2 (PV)

Lostbelt No. 2

Götterdämmerung: Century of Eternal Ice and Flame (無間氷焔世紀 ゲッテルデメルング, Mugen Hyōen Seiki Getterudemerungu?), alternatively ■■■ of the Undying Flame (消えぬ炎の■■■, Kienu Honō no ■■■?)(later revealed to be the Jolly Fellow of the Undying Flame (消えぬ炎の快男児, Kienu Honō no Kaidanji?)) and Lostbelt No. 2 (ロストベルト No. 2?), is the second of the seven known Lostbelts. It's Lost Depth is B+ and it's associated Crypter is Ophelia Phamrsolone. The date of divergence is 1000 BC.[2][3]

Götterdämmerung is the German translation of the Old Norse term Ragnarök, meaning "Twilight of the Gods", which refers to a prophesised battle in Norse Mythology which will see the death of most of the gods, and the destruction and subsequent renewal of the world. Götterdämmerung is also the title of the last opera in Richard Wagner's cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen.

Opening and PV Information

The background in the PV appears to be split between blue on the left and red on the right (likely ice and fire)(each with a large mass or peak at the back), with several large figures on the left and smaller spikes on the right.[2] The opening features several castles, bridges and stairways in a mountainous region.[4]

Previous Speculation

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Norse Mythology Aside from Götterdämmerung and Ragnarök,[Spec 1] there are possible signs of several other Norse aspects in the PV background. Fire and ice appear to be prominent, with the background split between them. Two of the Nine Worlds are Muspelheim (or Múspell) - the realm of fire, and Niflheim - the realm of ice. The collision of heat and cold from these two realms in the primordial abyss Ginnungagap is what set the cosmogonic process going. The large figures might be the giants of Norse Mythology, the jötnar.[Spec 2][Spec 3]

On a side note, it has been noted that if it is a Norse Lostbelt, the fact that its Crypter is the one with an eyepatch would be somewhat fitting.[Spec 3]

Edit (06/07/2018): More or less confirmed that this Lostbelt is going to be located in Northern Europe,[3][Spec 4] and likely Nordic in nature.

Blank: Surtr? Given the indications that this will be Norse-focused chapter (and likely Ragnarök) and the censored word, connected to flame, is three characters long, it seems likely that it is Surtr (スルト?),[Spec 2][Spec 5] the king of the eldjötnar (fire giants) and Múspell, who is destined to set the world ablaze.

Edit (06/07/2018): Disproved, though the possibility of him being the 'jolly fellow' hasn't been completely ruled out.[Spec 4]

Edit (24/07/2018): He's not the 'jolly fellow' - Napoleon is.[5]

Blank: Valkyrie? Another possibility that has been considered which is connected to Norse mythology and flame, is a term commonly used for valkyries (戦乙女, Ikusa Otome, lit. "War maiden", as opposed to バークリー, Vākurī),[Spec 5] which might be due to Brynhildr, who was imprisoned in a ring of fire - there has also been speculation that she and Sigurd might be involved in the events of this Lostbelt.[Spec 6][Spec 1][Spec 3][Spec 7][Spec 8]

Edit (06/07/2018): Disproved, though an appearance by Brynhildr or Sigurd has not been ruled out and blue flames associated with Brynhildr have been noted in the promotional banner.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Those two do play a major role.[5]

Non-Norse Speculation Although there have been a large number of things pointing towards Norse Mythology, a few people have speculated that this might not be the case, given that 1000 BC predates the Norsemen (though not necessarily Ragnarök), and that this particular Götterdämmerung might be another part in the decline of the gods in general.[Spec 1][Spec 3] One of non-Norse points which has been brought up is that David became King of Israel in this year.[Spec 9][Spec 10][Spec 1]

Edit (06/07/2018): This setting speculation has since been disproved, though it doesn't completely rule out an appearance by David - given the Counter Force-summoned Servants in the previous Lostbelt, the recent addition of lines and the nature of certain other theories floating about, the possibility remains open.[6][Spec 11]

Edit (24/07/2018): Fully disproved.[5]

Post-Lostbelt No.1 Information

Previous Speculation

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Lostbelt No.2's Divergence Point: Ragnarök, Eruption Given Lostbelt No.2's title, Götterdämmerung, and various other hints that it is going to be a Norse one, many people have suspected that its divergence might have had something to do with Ragnarök.[Spec 3]

When it was revealed that an impact winter was the cause of Lostbelt No.1's divergence,[7] several wondered if other similar disasters might be responsible for the divergence of some of the other Lostbelts, with a volcanic eruption being considered as a possibility for Lostbelt No.2.[7][Spec 3][Spec 2]

In Brynhildr's second interlude, da Vinci mentioned information which appears to support both of these theories. According to her, an eruption of Mt. Katla was closely linked to the beginning of Ragnarök, and this occurred in 1000 BC[Spec 12][8][Spec 13] - the date given for Lostbelt No.2's divergence.[2]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved. The eruption has nothing to do with the Lostbelt's divergence.[5]

Lostbelt No.2's Divergence Point: Ragnarök, Actions Other people have suspected that actions by the individuals closely involved in Ragnarök might be behind the divergence. It has been suggested that the battle itself might have been prevented or delayed, perhaps through Baldur not dying when he was meant to.[Spec 14][Spec 3] It has also been suggested that the battle might have occurred but the outcome considerably changed, such as either the Aesir or Jötnar winning rather than destroying one another.[Spec 3][Spec 15]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed. Surtr consumed Fenrir during the Ragnarok of the Lostbelt's timeline, killing the gods and the giant's leaders before Odin sacrificed himself to seal him. Ragnarok has been left only partially finished and the renewal cannot come. Furthermore, with Skadi having to use most of her power to maintain the seal and with most of the land covered in ice, she has been forced to keep the human population low and feed those over 25 to the giants to keep the latter in check.[5]

Announcement Information

Figures

Crypter: Ophelia Phamrsolone

Ophelia Phamrsolone (Opening)

Ophelia Phamrsolone

The Crypter associated with this Lostbelt is Ophelia Phamrsolone. As with the others, she is a former member of Chaldea's A-Team, who now stands against the survivors as a Master working with the forces of the Lostbelts and the Alien God to remake the world.[9][10]

Originating from the Clock Tower's Spiritual Evocation Faculty and described by some as a modern-day valkyrie (現代の戦乙女, Gendai no Ikusa Otome?),[9][11] Ophelia apparently possesses special Mystic Eyes and wears an eye-patch, which was somewhat conspicuous in Chaldea. She was to be assigned to a Saber, and was apparently insistent with regards to the race of the Heroic Spirit she was to be contracted with.[9] In the past, she was one of the few members of the A-Team who went out of their way to interact with Mash more than required, having apparently invited her out for meals as a fellow woman, though possibly troubling her.[11]

Since her resurrection, she has become very respectful and dutiful towards Kirschtaria Wodime, possibly out of dependence due to the near-death experience and situation the Crypters have faced.[12] She is nonetheless confident in the abilities of her Lostbelt's king and the 'strongest' knight on her side.[12]

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Mystic Eye under the eyepatch It is commonly assumed that her Mystic Eye is under her eye patch,[Spec 16][Spec 7][Spec 17] and there has been speculation as to the nature of the eye.[Spec 18][Spec 3][Spec 16]

There have been a variety of theories, and some speculation that her eyes may be connected to Odin or Sigurd 'Snake-in-the-Eye', though it has been noted by some that a precognitive ability seems unlikely - if she had one, she probably would have had a bit more warning about the explosion.[Spec 18][Spec 16][Spec 19] Other suggestions have included connections to the valkyries and even Balor.[Spec 18]

Edit (24/07/2018): The Mystic Eye is a jewel-rank Mystic Eye of Reversion.[5]

Descendant? Some have speculated that the reason she was specific on the race of her Heroic Spirit was that she may be descended from those figures or one of their contemporaries.[Spec 16][Spec 7][Spec 18][Spec 19]
Survival As with the other Crypters, there has been speculation as to whether or not Ophelia will die, and if so what might be the cause (connecting into the theory that Sigurd and Brynhildr might be appearing, the latter has been speculated as a potential culprit).[Spec 7][Spec 8][Spec 20]

Edit (24/07/2018): Ophelia dies from using her Sirius Right to sever her connection to Surtr.[5]

Eye loss Some have also speculated that Ophelia might lose her eye during the events of the Lostbelt (perhaps slightly paralleling a certain other Norse figure), particularly if her Mystic Eye is a potent one.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed. She destroys her Mystic Eye in order to sever her connection to Surtr.[5]

Crypter Servant

The identity of Ophelia Phamrsolone's Servant has not been revealed yet, though they have been described as the 'strongest' knight,[12] and if the assigned Classes for the Crypters are the same as before, they will likely be a Saber.[9]

Previous Speculation

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Sigurd? During her talk with Kirschtaria Wodime, Ophelia mentioned that she had the 'strongest knight' on her side. Many have taken this to mean that she has got the Saber she was hoping for,[Spec 3] and considering the hints of a Norse Lostbelt, as well as the old datamine and Brynhildr's recent interlude, quite a few have considered Sigurd.[Spec 21][8][Spec 22][Spec 23][Spec 7][Spec 16][Spec 4]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed. Sigurd was summoned as Ophelia's Servant, though Surtr hijacked the summon and inhabited his body.[5]

Siegfried? While Sigurd has been the primary speculated candidate of a Norse-related nature, a few have also considered the possibility of his counterpart Siegfried,[Spec 3] and possibly a fully-drenched one.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved.[5]

New Speculation

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Napoleon Following the reveal of the banner, a number of people wondered if the Archer, later revealed to be Napoleon, might be her Servant. This theory is contradicted by the evidence of Ophelia's Servant being a Saber and the 'strongest knight', both of which Napoleon isn't, however it has also been noted that the Crypters aren't necessarily restricted to one Servant (maybe in Kadoc's case but the option would be open to some of the others). There has also been debate as to whether Napoleon would act in support of the Greater History of Man or the Lostbelt, based on information in his profile.[Spec 24][Spec 25]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved.[5]

King of the Lostbelt

Similarly, the identity of the King of the second Lostbelt has not yet been revealed. They have however been described as calmer than Ivan the Terrible, though like him they possess strength on the level of a Divine Spirit.[12]

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
The Kings of the Lostbelts Given Ivan's role and form, many suspect that at least some of the other Kings of the Lostbelts will be of a similar nature and divergence. There has also been speculation, given that the playable Ivan is in his Lostbelt form, that most if not all of the kings will be in their Lostbelt forms.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Partially confirmed.[5]

Sigurd? Though Sigurd has primarily been considered as a candidate for the 'strongest' knight referred to by Ophelia, a few people have also wondered if he might be the king.[Spec 22][Spec 4]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved for Sigurd, though Surtr inside him briefly usurps the role after escaping.[5]

Surtr Another candidate for the king which have been considered is Surtr, the King of the eldjötnar (fire giants) and Múspelheim.[Spec 3][Spec 26][Spec 27][Spec 15][Spec 28]

Edit (24/07/2018): Surtr is not the chosen king though he briefly usurps the role after consuming the Fantasy Tree to restore his power.[5]

Others Other figures who have been suggested as possible candidates include Odin, Loki, Baldur, Gunther, Angar and Hjálmgunnar,[Spec 29][Spec 4][Spec 27][Spec 15][Spec 28][Spec 3] and even Ymir.[Spec 26]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved.[5]

Archer

LostBeltUnknownArcher

Archer

With the announcement for Lostbelt No.2, it has also been revealed that the currently unnamed Archer from the Cosmos in the Lostbelt Class Introduction CMs will be involved.

Previous Speculation

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Archer's Identity Given how he is wielding a large cannon and the design of his uniform (noted to resemble that of a British Artillery Officer), a fair number of people suspect that this Archer may be Henry Shrapnel. Another candidate which has been suggested is Napoleon Bonaparte, due to his association with artillery warfare.[Spec 30][Spec 4]

Edit (13/07/2018): Confirmed to be Napoleon with the Lostbelt 2 Pre-Release Campaign.[13][Spec 31]

New Speculation

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Archer's Identity Another candidate which has been put forward for Archer's identity is King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, a skilled military commander called the 'Father of Modern Warfare' and noted for his use of artillery.[Spec 32][Spec 4]

Edit (13/07/2018): Disproved.[5]

'Jolly Fellow' Given his appearance in the Lostbelt's announcement and the reveal of the blanked part of its title, various people suspect that he is the 'jolly fellow' in question.[Spec 32]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed.[5]

Exploration of Composition and Legends A few people have noticed profile similarities between Salieri and Napoleon, how their legends affect the composition of their Saint Graphs and how they manifest, and have wondered if this might be the start of a trend.[Spec 3]
Allegiance The matter of Napoleon's allegiance in his assumed appearance in the Lostbelt has also been a matter of speculation. Some have felt that the information in his profile suggests that he'll be fighting for the Human Order of the Greater History of Man, while others have pointed out that the information could just as well apply to the Lostbelt.[Spec 24][Spec 25]

A few have wondered if Napoleon might be a Servant of Ophelia, however most of the evidence presented so far contradicts this theory (suggestions of a Saber and references to the 'strongest knight', both of which Napoleon isn't), though the supporters have noted that the Crypters aren't necessarily restricted to one Servant.[Spec 24][Spec 25]

Edit (24/07/2018): He is on Chaldea's side and fights against the forces of the Lostbelt, though he does try to help Ophelia with her own little problem.[5]

Other

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Figures connected to speculation Considering speculation concerning the Lostbelt's subject matter, a number of figures (some which have been featured before and some which have not) which are connected to them have been listed in various places and considered for potential appearances.

One particular list has included the following:[Spec 33]

Some of these seem more likely than others on the list and two have since appeared in Lostbelt No.1, making an appearance here unlikely.[Spec 29] The Servants appearing in Lostbelt No.1 have also cast doubt on a previously held idea that most of the Servants featured in the story will be connected to their respective settings.[6][Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Among these, Brynhildr, Sigurd and Scáthach (with Skadi inside) made appearances. On the subject of Norse Mythology, Freyja was part of the trio inside Pseudo-Servant Illya.[5]

Figures connected to the old datamine Two figures in particular who were featured in the old datamine and not yet added to the game have been considered for an appearance, being connected to Norse mythology; Sigurd, mentioned already, and Valkyrie, though this one has some doubt surrounding her given her origin.[Spec 29][Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed for both of them, though Valkyrie was a different Valkyrie from what a few people were suspecting.[5]

Servants who were not elaborated on as much before A number of people have noted that some of the Servants which were summoned in the Russian Lostbelt were characters which haven't been quite as elaborated upon as some of the others. A number have also wondered if this will also apply to some of the Servants who will be summoned in this way in the other Lostbelts.[Spec 3]

It has been noted that Eric fits into this category.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): No Eric, but Brynhildr appears.[5]

Previous Appearances It has been noted that most of the Heroic Spirits summoned by the Counter Force in the Russian Lostbelt have previously appeared in the seven Singularities of the Human Order Incineration Incident (Atalanta in her regular form in Orleans and Okeanos, Mozart in Orleans, Beowulf and Billy in E Pluribus Unum, Asterios in Okeanos), with two noted pairs who appeared together previously. Various people have wondered if this trend will continue or if it is just for that Lostbelt.[Spec 3]

Connecting to earlier non-Norse speculation, it has been noted that David appeared in Okeanos. Additionally, on the side closer to the Norse, Siegfried appeared in Orleans, Altera in Septem, Cú Chulainn in Fuyuki as Caster and his Altered form E Pluribus Unum with Scáthach.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved for most of these, though Scáthach appears as a Caster, with Skadi inhabiting her body.[5]

Servants of the Arts Going by what Anastasia mentioned in the Russian Lostbelt, some of the Lostbelt Servants are greatly influenced by the arts (such as the music of Mozart and Salieri),[7] which led a couple of people to wonder if more Servants of the arts may appear in the future Lostbelts.[Spec 3]

It has been noted that among the various figures who have been speculated about for this Lostbelt, one very notable figure fits into this category; Richard Wagner.[Spec 34][Spec 4][Spec 29][Spec 35][Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Not this time.[5]

Natives With the Yaga having arisen from the divergent history of the Russian Lostbelt, a fair few suspected that we may be seeing other new races born in a similar way in the other Lostbelts,[Spec 3] or some which have survived when they would have normally disappeared,[Spec 3] and with the possibility of Ragnarok being affected, a number have wondered about the possibility of the gods (Aesir/Vanir) and giants (Jötnar) appearing.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Giants appear, though their leaders and the gods perished during Ragnarok.[5]

Other

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Wandering Sea At the end of the previous chapter, after the destruction of the Russian Lostbelt, the Shadow Border was travelling through the blank world when they picked up a call, apparently from the Sea of Estray.[1] Given its location in Northern Europe and a focus on magic from the Age of the Gods, a fair few have suspected that it may be involved with the events of the second, likely-Norse Lostbelt.[Spec 36][Spec 37][Spec 38] Others have suspected that they might be allies in the upcoming struggle and might provide a base for the Shadow Border.[Spec 38][Spec 3] Others have considered the possibility that it might be a trap.[Spec 3]

One particular institution among the organization has been noted as quite relevant; the Thule Society, who specialize in Runes.[Spec 39][Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): The Wandering Sea only appears at the end of the chapter, so much of this is unverified.[5]

Fantasy Tree Given what was said about the Russian tree, apparently the only one not to have spread its roots and started budding,[14] it has been speculated that the Norse tree will have a different appearance and display different traits.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Partially confirmed. Though the appearance isn't much different outside the damage from Surtr, the tree has started spreading its seeds, which are fought at various points.[5]

Tree of Fantasy Designation Given the designation of the Fantasy Tree in Russia, thought to be Orochi, there was speculation of Japanese names but more so of serpents, leading to Jörmungandr and Níðhöggr being considered as possibilities for the Norse tree.[Spec 23][Spec 40][Spec 41][Spec 3]

With the possibility that the Russian tree's designation might actually be referring to the Orochs (alternatively Orochons or Orochis) - a small, indigenous race of people in Russia, the possibility of a indigenous race of Scandinavia and the Norse regions has also been considered.[Spec 3]

The names of trees from Norse mythology, such as Yggdrasil, have also been considered.[Spec 41][Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved. The Norse Fantasy Tree was designated Sombrero and the Greek one has been called Atlas.[5] Together with Orochi, people have noticed a pattern between the known tree names - they are all names of galaxies and star systems.[Spec 3]

In a scene in the CM, the Caster from the Class Introduction Trailers, strongly suspected to be Scáthach, is briefly seen fighting in a forest along with another figure.[15]

Previous Speculation

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Identity Needless to say, most people reckon this one is Scáthach's Caster version, though a few have considered her sister Aife or daughter Uathach as well.[Spec 47]

Her general appearance and voice is consistent with the primary candidate. There is a slight difference in tone and speech pattern, though this wouldn't be the first time a class change has had this kind of effect (and there is also the Lostbelt possibility).[Spec 47] She also refers to her castle (most likely Dun Scaith). Additionally, Scáthach is known to qualify for the Caster class in the same way as her student, being proficient with runes.[Spec 47]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed as Scáthach, with Skadi inside in the Lostbelt.[5]

Noble Phantasm Given the possibility that she might be Scáthach's Caster form, quite a few suspect that her Noble Phantasm will be Gate of Skye.[Spec 48][Spec 47]

Sherlock Holmes is briefly seen in the CM, apparently utilizing his Noble Phantasm.[15]

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Frontlines Given the nature of his appearance in the trailer, a fair few believe Holmes will see him on the frontlines this time.[Spec 49][Spec 50] However, others have noted that the battle he is shown in appears to be taking place inside the Shadow Border.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved. Holmes fights during Sigurd-Surtr's attack on the Shadow Border but is badly wounded and spends the rest of the chapter recovering.[5]

Children

Lostbelt 2 CM - Brynhildr

Brynhildr and the children in a meadow

In the CM, a pair of children were seen in a meadow with Brynhildr and another in a kitchen with Mash.[15]

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Native allies? A fair number of people have considered that these children might be the primary native allies for this chapter, much like Patxi was in the Russian Lostbelt.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Partially confirmed. Gerda and others are befriended but don't play a major role like Patxi.[5]

Adults? A couple of people have noted that the natives outside of the army which have been shown so far are all children and have wondered if there might be a reason for the lack of adults.[Spec 49]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed. Everyone over 25 has been fed to the giants.[5]

Troops

Lostbelt 2 CM - Ophelia and Troops

Ophelia and her troops

Ophelia was seen apparently in command of a large group of white-uniformed troops, mostly hooded and wielding lances, later seen flying and firing against Napoleon.[15]

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Valkyries One possibility that has immediately come to mind for many and seems quite likely, is that the troops (or at least some of them) are valkyries.[Spec 42][Spec 43][Spec 44][Spec 50][Spec 49]

Edit (18/07/2018): Confirmed as valkyries with Lancer Valkyrie as representative.[5]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed. Discrepancy in appearance due to earlier Ascension stage.[5]

Forest Figure

Lostbelt 2 CM - Forest Figure

Figure in the forest

As well as Caster, another individual, possibly female, was seen in the forest scene.[15]

Subject(s) of Speculation Notes concerning Speculation
Identity One possibility that has been suggested for this figure's identity is Bradamante, a female knight who was featured in the old datamine.[Spec 44][Spec 43][Spec 50][Spec 52] Aslaug has also been considered as another possibility.[Spec 53]

Another suggestion is Ereshkigal, somehow.[Spec 52][Spec 43][Spec 49] A few people have noted the figure reminds them of Rin, Luvia or Illya.[Spec 3] On the Norse side, some have wondered if she might be another Valkyrie, a Norse princess or warrior, or possibly Freyja or Sif.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Identity confirmed to be Pseudo-Servant Illya, hosting a composite of Sitonai, Freyja and Louhi.[5]

Fiery Giant

Lostbelt 2 CM - Fiery Giant

The fiery giant

A fiery giant is seen towards the end of the CM.[15]

Surtr Given the setting and appearance, most people believe that this giant is Surtr,[Spec 44][Spec 51][Spec 49][Spec 42][Spec 51] the king of the eldjötnar (fire giants) and Múspell, destined to set the world ablaze.

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed.[5]

Giant Boss Given the nature of the giant and previous fights, many believe that it might be faced in a large-type boss battle like Tiamat and Ivan.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed.[5]

Ally? Some people believe that Ragnarok will have to be triggered to resolve this Lostbelt and some of them believe that Surtr might be an ally.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved. Surtr is a major enemy in the Lostbelt.[5]

Wandering Sea While most people reckon the enemy Mash is fighting at the start comes from the Lostbelt (some thinking that it might be an earlier form of the armored adversary facing Brynhildr),[Spec 3] at least one person thinks they might be from the Wandering Sea and that negotiatons may have broken down.[Spec 49]

Edit (24/07/2018): Disproved. It was Sigurd-Surtr who was the attacker.[5]

Shadow Border Judging from the initial battle scene, which seems to be taking place inside the Shadow Border, a number of people believe that the Shadow Border will come under attack and be boarded at some point.[Spec 3]

Edit (24/07/2018): Confirmed. The Shadow Border comes under attack several times, first from Kotomine and second from Sigurd-Surtr who boards the craft and steals the Paper Moon.[5]
