Waletta Codrington (ワレッタ・コドリントン, Waretta Kodorinton?) is a member of the main Codrington magus family.[1][2]
Profile[]
Background[]
Waletta was the childhood friend of Wills Pelham Codrington until he rejected her marriage proposal.
Personality[]
Wills suggests to El-Melloi that her hostility towards him despite being former childhood friends is due to his rejecting her marriage proposal.
Role[]
Lord El-Melloi II Case Files[]
Waletta appears alongside Hishiri Adashino at the Marsburry Workshop just as Wills is captured upon entering the estate with Lord El-Melloi II and Gray. She accuses Wills of murdering his father, as he was present during each of the storms that had killed someone, and because she was unable to call any of the spirits of those who had died, which suggests that a fellow necromancer had erased their traces. As a representative of the Codrington main family, she also expresses displeasure at the presence of El-Melloi II at the workshop, arguing that the incidents are not the business of the Department of Modern Magecraft. To her chagrin, El-Melloi II manages to delay Wills' arrest due to the storm that is brewing outside and convinces Adashino to wait until it passes.
Later that night, she is killed by what is later revealed to be a Black Dog, becoming the latest (and last) victim of the Marsburry Workshop.
Abilities[]
Waletta is a practitioner of Necromancy.
