WuzhiqiWP (無支奇, Mushiki?) is a Xian and formerly one of the Ten Officials of Summit Court in The Adventures of Lord El-Melloi II.
Profile[]
Background[]
Wuzhiqi is a Xian who was one of the three involved in the creation of Ergo long ago. Due to an old agreement, she has second "claim" to him after the Crudelis family. She refers to herself as Ergo's mother, and plans to devour Ergo after he himself has devoured three Divine Spirits. She says that she used to be part of Summit Court but was expelled ages ago.[1] Wuzhiqi was an extra eleventh member.[2]
Wuzhiqi is considered a prototype of Sun Wukong due to them sharing major attributes, such as being humanoid monkeys with fiery eyes and golden pupils.[1]
Wuzhiqi knows Yu Mei-ren and Xiang Yu, and has fought them at some point in the past.[1]
Appearance[]
She has white hair and fiery eyes with golden pupils, and wears a bell earring and handcuffs.[1]
Although the mythical Wuzhiqi was a male and this one appears to be female, it is actually only her remote body that is female. After her remote body is destroyed by Ergo, Lord El-Melloi II figures out the real Wuzhiqi must be a male because according to ancient Xian lore, female deities are capable of out-of-body experiences, while male deities need to gather magical energy to create temporary bodies. Her solid, physical body suggests she's a male deity.[1]
Personality[]
Role[]
The Adventures of Lord El-Melloi II[]
The Man Who Devoured God[]
Abilities[]
As Wuziqhi is an ancient Mystery, she cannot be harmed by magecraft from the modern day.[1]
She possesses Mystic Eyes that paralyze on eye contact. She can create localized storms, and by simply flicking her finger she created a blast of wind that knocked Rin Tohsaka unconscious.[1]
She is capable of shapeshifting and has taken on forms such as an eagle, a strange monkey creature, and a humanoid.[3]
Wuziqhi's remote female body doesn't use anything that looks like magecraft. If she were instead the main body of a female deity, she would have connected to her Xian-exclusive powers, or used her Philosophy Key, but she did neither. Putting that in Clock Tower terms, her remote body fights like a mage with no Magic Crest and no magecraft aside from the basics. His true male body, on the other hand, would be capable of more.[1]
